Crossover pairings are fun. Arguably, they can be one of the best parts of panfandom RP. After all, there's nothing quite like that spark when two characters just "click," especially when it was completely unplanned. AWESOME.

Unfortunately, in a lot of shipping memes here and elsewhere, the environment isn't really conducive to spontaneity. People usually just stick to castmates or close friends, and don't tag out due to lack of knowledge of canons or just plain intimidation. That's not fun for those of us who want to throw caution out the windows and just try crazy things, like throwing a Thor at a Sailor Moon (which, really, isn't that crazy of an idea if you look at the mythos for both series...).

This meme's for you, risk takers, crack shippers, or people who just want something new. All there is to do is fill out a tiny blurb so that people who don't know your canon will have some idea about your character. Then, go. Play. Don't let anything stop you. Don't know where to go with an idea? Wing it! The prompts here are not the super specific variety that most ship memes have, where you almost have to have canon knowledge. Want to reply to a character but have no idea where to begin? Make things up! The more creative, the better.

The Steps
- Make a comment with your character, canon, preferences, etc in the subject. In the body of the comment, fill out this super easy form. Just the basics.

Name: Jane Doe
Canon: The Best Canon Ever
About: Jane is a shy girl with magic powers.
[OPTIONAL]
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Strong, outgoing types.


- Comment to other characters! Use the RNG, first rolling for category (1-3) and then for prompt.
- This meme was created for crossovers, and that's heavily encouraged, but no one is going to hunt you down if you play with a castmate. Just try to remember the purpose of the meme, okay?
- HAVE FUN

Two Ways to Play
#1 (the buildup)
- Start with the first category, which is how the characters meet. Play that as you see fit. THEN, do a timeskip! If you don't know what that means, it's when you handwave that time has past. Assume the characters have known each other for a while. Move on to a prompt in the next category. Rinse, repeat. You can build a relationship!

#2 (the regular)
- Just play it as usual. Roll for category, then for prompt.

ONLINE CHAT MEME
The internet chat room for your muses

For some reason, you've decided to sit down and hang out in an internet chat room. There are many other people there with you, and now you just have to see if you can strike up a conversation of interest. You type in something to see if it flags anyone's interest. Is it something insightful, or just a veiled and guarded "Hello". Or maybe you love meeting you people and you want to kick the conversation off yourself? Has someone said something that intrigues your, or do you maybe just appreciate their choice of username? Will you meet someone friendly, or just downright strange? Or perhaps you're the strange one and some unsuspecting person on the other end of the internet is in for an interesting chat... You may even already know the person and find yourself logged into the same chatroom.

Either way, you're online and talking to someone via a computer screen. Where that goes, it's up to you.  Will it fall dead in the water, or will it lead to a desire to meet in person? You don't have the luxury of face-to-face interaction, so the conversation is just that... and will be whatever you make it.



RULES:

★ This is just like any other chat medium out there - mIRC, AIM, MSN Messenger, etc. You are talking online, and therefore all conversations are in first person - no prose or action text.
★ To set up, put your name, canon, and any preferences in the subject line, including a kick off for your chat in the comment box. It can be a single word or a whole spiel. Whatever your character might jump into an online chat with.
★ Have a look around and tag other people's comments to strike up a chat.
★ Be as creative as you like, it's just like a real internet chat. It could just be a generic chat kicked off by a brief hello, or something more specific. For example, maybe you're just looking for people in the same location as you, or where you grew up? Maybe people with similar interests to chat with? If so, remember to make your starting comment something that will entice people you are specifically looking for. Don't forget, if sexy situations are your preference, this can always lead to cyber sex - just remember to state if that is welcome in your subject header!
★ All conversations will be assumed to be private messages. In tagging someone, that is like taking a conversation to PM, so there is no assumed knowledge of any other conversation occuring arond you.
★ If all goes well, feel free to progress to meeting in person by starting a scene in your own journals.

The Body Heat Meme



Post with your character! They're now stuck in a very cold place of your choice. It can be anything, such as a freezing chamber, a cavern or a small cabin in the midst of a blizzard. The choice is up to you.
Comment around! Now your character has some company in this bone-chilling environment. The two of them share two things in common: clothes completely unfitting for this weather (be they summer clothes or even lingerie) and a blanket.
A blanket? Yes, just one warm blanket and no other ways to escape the cold. The two of them will have to share it in order to stay alive in this weather. Don't worry, you're sure to find a common language in this terrible situation!
So, uh, have fun, I suppose. Try to not freeze to death!
Protip: friction and body heat are both excellent ways to fend off cold.

Everyone likes to think of themselves as unique, but what if you weren't just a bit different? What if you were the only one like you at all?

Well you'd end up in a sexual scenario obviously. Lets find out what one.

First, what are you the last of?

1. The last of your sex. The battle of the sexes had to end one way or the other. And you are the lone remnant of your side. Maybe it was a virus, radiation from space or a purposeful purge, but you're the only one with your genitals left.

2. The last of your species. Your mother? Dead. Your father? Dead. Your siblings? Dead. Everyone who shares your genetics right back to the last time the evolutionary tree branched? Dead. Except for you. Welcome to the 'good as extinct' species list, buddy. Don't matter if you're a human, vampire, unicorn or panda, you're all there is.

3. The last of your organisation. If it was the noble empire that ruled the world, the brightest band of stars of the musical world, practiser of a now lost art or the criminal association that terrorised the innocent, they're all gone but you. By assassination or accident, you're the only one carrying the (literal or metaphorical) mark identifying you as the last of the world famous group.

4. The last of your home. Remember that sleepy old home town of yours? In that lovely home country? Possibly on your beloved home planet? Well, you're the only one that does. If it was war, an accident or just the passage of time, you're a refugee who can never go home.

5. The last of your lineage. Congrats. You're so orphaned you don't have a trace of any family anywhere. Unfortunately, it turns out that your bloodline is kind of important. Maybe you're royalty or the heir to an enormous fortune, maybe your family has been prophesied to overthrow the Dark Lord. Whatever floats your boat.

6. The last...whatever. Sorry, didn't catch that. You're the last whatever you want to be.

Oh, so you're the last [X]? That sucks. So what's happening now?

1. In hiding. There's a reason you're the last, after all. Something nasty went down and you're hiding from the consequences. Sadly, the time has come for your secret to be revealed. If you're confiding in a trusted friend or you slipped up and are being blackmailed, you two now share a secret that links you together.

2. Milking it for all it's worth! Yeah it's sad and lonely and all that, but it's also a way to cash in. You control the only supply of whatever you are and demand is high, baby. You're famous and loving it. And look at all those groupies you've got without competition getting int the way...

3. Not quite the last. You've been alone for a long time now, without anyone who can really understand what it's like to be you. Good news! You're not as alone as you thought. Turns out there's another last [X] out there. Through fortune or active searching it's time for you to meet and emotions are guaranteed to run high.

4. Rebuilding. Just because you're the only one around doesn't mean you have to be the last. Could be that you're spending your days in a laboratory under going attempts to artificially increase your numbers...if you want to or not. Even if they can't biologically help, a certain doctor might have been a shoulder to cry on too. Could be that you're looking for that first apprentice you'll use to recreate your once proud group. Or you're just trying to spread your genes the old fashioned way, all day every day.

5. Getting even. Your [X] is dead...murdered... And someone's responsible! You've dedicated your life to justice or revenge. But once you've got them in your sights, something happens. Maybe killing them isn't enough and you need to humiliate them first. Perhaps dedicating your life to someone has created some odd feelings that have mixed with the feelings of the sex drive you suppressed getting this far. Or even worse, they've turned the tables and you're the one who is on the receiving end. They could always be feeling guilty and you could forgive them too...

6. Something else. You're probably more creative than me. Come up with something cool, why don't you.



Instructions:
1) Post your characters, their canon and your preferences. Make sure to note if there are scenarios you aren't into, some of these could involve non-con, dub-con, incest, pregnancy etc. 
2) Either roll up two numbers or pick a pair that you like, reply to other comments. Alternatively use your own comment to provide any number of short introductions to scenes you would like to play.

-Pick out your character and fandom, as well as preferences.
-Go here and generate a random number between 1-10 for the setting
-Post all that.
-If you want, you or the person tagging you can roll a number between 1-8 for relationship as well!
- You know what to do next, honey.

Possible settings:

1. Crime Scene: Dead body? Burglary? Whatever the crime, it's been sectioned off for the officers to investigate this nefarious deed, and you're getting a good look at it.

2. Speakeasy: Prohibition's such a joke to society, and this is where the fashionable ones come to hang out and gossip. Perhaps a police officer or two will show up to investigate, but no one ever takes that seriously.

3. Docks at Night: The breeze caressing your face, the sound of the water, the boats passing by...maybe you were called here, or maybe you just like the peace it brings.

4. Alleyway: There's only one way in and out of this little corridor, and what happens in it is up to you and the other character. Just watch for the shadows, if you can see through the fog.

5. Detective's Office: Not too clean, not too messy. Just perfect for the person that's needed to get this mystery cleared up.

6. Rooftop: The wind dramatically blowing about, it's the perfect place to get that person to come and meet you so you can tell them what you want. Or if you're evil, why not kill them up here? It'll be hard to escape you.

7. Dressing Room: For some reason, you're backstage after a performance, and you've gotten into one of these. The mirrors, the costumes, the flowers from fans and the various personal affects...all are present and will be your silent witnesses to whatever occurs.

8. Hideout: You've gotten to the antagonist's spot of choice. Is this a glitzy nightclub with a private room, or is this an abandoned warehouse where they-or you-carry out their plot? The choice is yours.

9. Nightclub: Someone's showcasing their talent tonight, and you may or may not care about it. But it's classic, dimly lit, and it's easy to hide in here.

10. Free choice

Possible relationships:

1. Friends: Maybe you're an unstoppable team, or perhaps your relationship is getting strained. But whatever the situation, you know this person, and you'd be there for them.

2. Coworkers/teammates/classmates: You might not be friends, but you know this person well enough to remember their name. And right now you're being thrown together for a reason.

3. Lovers: This is the one you wanted to stay with for now. Married, dating, or maybe an affair, but you two care about each other enough.

4. Enemies: Utter hatred flows through your veins when you hear this person's name. This is the one you want to take down, and you just might stop at nothing to achieve your goal.

5. Family: Perhaps it's a sibling you're meeting. Or your parent, or some form of relative. Remember that phrase "blood is thicker than water"? It just might apply here.

6. Mysterious Stranger: Someone's been eyeing you from across the room, or you've been eyeing them. Will you two speak, or shall they float out of your life? Do they hold information you seek, or do they want something from you?

7. Femme/Homme Fatale: You are or have encountered a mysterious and seductive person, whose charms ensnare their lovers in bonds of irresistible desire, often leading them into compromising, dangerous, and deadly situations. Watch out, you might just get yourself into a real mess of trouble, hot stuff.
