Crossover pairings are fun. Arguably, they can be one of the best parts of panfandom RP. After all, there's nothing quite like that spark when two characters just "click," especially when it was completely unplanned. AWESOME.
Unfortunately, in a lot of shipping memes here and elsewhere, the environment isn't really conducive to spontaneity. People usually just stick to castmates or close friends, and don't tag out due to lack of knowledge of canons or just plain intimidation. That's not fun for those of us who want to throw caution out the windows and just try crazy things, like throwing a Thor at a Sailor Moon (which, really, isn't that crazy of an idea if you look at the mythos for both series...).
This meme's for you, risk takers, crack shippers, or people who just want something new. All there is to do is fill out a tiny blurb so that people who don't know your canon will have some idea about your character. Then, go. Play. Don't let anything stop you. Don't know where to go with an idea? Wing it! The prompts here are not the super specific variety that most ship memes have, where you almost have to have canon knowledge. Want to reply to a character but have no idea where to begin? Make things up! The more creative, the better.
The Steps
- Make a comment with your character, canon, preferences, etc in the subject. In the body of the comment, fill out this super easy form. Just the basics.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Strong, outgoing types.
- Comment to other characters! Use the RNG, first rolling for category (1-3) and then for prompt.
- This meme was created for crossovers, and that's heavily encouraged, but no one is going to hunt you down if you play with a castmate. Just try to remember the purpose of the meme, okay?
- HAVE FUN
Two Ways to Play
#1 (the buildup)
- Start with the first category, which is how the characters meet. Play that as you see fit. THEN, do a timeskip! If you don't know what that means, it's when you handwave that time has past. Assume the characters have known each other for a while. Move on to a prompt in the next category. Rinse, repeat. You can build a relationship!
#2 (the regular)
- Just play it as usual. Roll for category, then for prompt.

About: Shirou is what happens when you cross Chronic Hero Syndrome with survivor's guilt. He's selfless to the point that he has no sense of self, and he wants to save everyone. But he's also a legit nice guy, enjoys helping other people out, and is a fantastic cook.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: A girl with some kind of personal strength, but still has some insecurities. It doesn't matter if the strength is obvious but the insecurities aren't (hello Saber), or vice-versa (looking at you, Sakura). Tsunderes are also welcome.
Athrun Zala | Gundam SEED Destiny | M/F; no sex, fluff preferred
Canon: Mobile Suit Gundam SEED (Destiny)
About: Athrun's a soldier with a difficult past and a cynical worldview. Despite that, he still does what's best for humanity due to a strong sense of justice. He's socially awkward, but loyal to his friends, and knows how to be a gentleman.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Girls with strong personalities, be they visible or not. Also, girls who can give him support, be it physically or emotionally. Intelligent girls are a nice bonus, but hardly necessary.
Asem Asuno | Gundam AGE | M/F; no sex, fluff preferred
Canon: Mobile Suit Gundam AGE
About: He's a nice guy who'll go out of his way to help people, though he's a bit awkward in social situations. He used to have a fierce inferiority complex, but he's over that now, and learned how to compensate in situations where he's at a disadvantage. Above all else, he wants to keep the people he loves safe.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Someone supportive, with good maternal instincts. He also has amazing chemistry with tsunderes from my experience playing him. People to drag him out into social gatherings and other situations are also highly encouraged.

About: She's an ambitious, manipulative, mercenary little thing who'll stop at very little to get where she's going, and who can talk most (but not all) people into believing she's the sweetest girl in the world. She's got a lot of anger and abandonment issues, but on the bright side, she can be hilarious.

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: I would love to bounce her off someone equally amoral but older (I play her at 19) and more experienced, who'd have a chance of seeing through her.
Stafford Savage | Harry Potter
Canon: Harry Potter
About: Think post book seven (minus the epilogue). Former Auror left a bit broken-minded after the war. Having a difficult time re-adjusting to the world, still half-convinced he'll become an Auror again. Tends toward being an initially cold introvert, but needs connection with someone... And at this point, needs to feel even that he exists in the world. Currently tends to be awkward around others, but he is trying. For a bit more, check his profile.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Honestly, I'd like to try him with pretty much anyone... He's less likely to go for bouncy trill-voiced YAY and has thus far been interested in women, but am open to whatever. And as he's been through some changes, don't know just what sort of personalities he might tend toward.
(other-note... am all for playing him at pretty much any time of his life. schooldays, auror-days, well-after-war days, whatever days.)

About: The crown prince of Gilboa, Jack has lead a privileged life though not an easy one. Being a deeply closeted homosexual, Jack constantly finds himself torn between wanting to be king and following in his father's footsteps or being the person he was truly meant to be. He's not a particularly nice fellow but he does want what is best for his land and even his family to a certain degree. His place as crown prince has recently been threatened by David Sheppard, a good-natured farm boy who threatens his position and one who has God's favor.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Jack would like to think he's only attracted to follow world-weary and cynical individuals who can play at the same political intrigues as himself. But as proven by both David and his lover Joseph, what he secretly craves is someone less complicated and more honest. Someone better than himself and one he can aspire to emulate.
Rose Wilson | DCU | OTA
Canon: DC Comics Universe - Primarily Teen Titans and related stuff.
About: Rose is the daughter of Deathstroke the Terminator, one of the world's foremost mercenaries. Born with limited precognition and enhanced by a serum forcefully injected into her by her father, she has extensive training in martial arts, weapon disciplines and various forms of acrobatics and gymnastics from her father and Nightwing. She is highly deadly, confident, boisterous and rather bitchy most of the time. Also has trust issues, daddy issues, abandonment issues and basically just issues up the wazoo.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Characters who are physically and/or mentally stronger than herself. Characters who embody the compete opposite of what she entails, sort of a light to balance her dark. And really hot people.
Kamille Bidan | Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation | M/F (Will do M/M if trap is involved)
Canon: Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam: A New Translation
About: A civilian who decided to do something about his lot in life, Kamille has fought the Titans for the better part of UC 0087. Through these trials of combat and sorrow, Kamille eventually grew up from a bitter child who'd lash out at anyone to pick a fight to an empathic individual who wishes to put an end to the senseless violence of the Titans to prevent other tragedies like the abuse and death of Four Murasame.
Kamille at this point is calm in times of peace, but can REALLY dish out the hurt if it's necessary. He's a Newtype, an empath with a certain degree of psychic powers, most of which require specialized equipment in order to potentially use. He wishes to live in a peaceful world so that he doesn't need to fight anymore and take more lives through senseless fighting.
What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Kamille's attracted first and foremost to fellow empaths, those who also exhibit the ability to connect with others on an emotional and psychic level. When that's been ruled out, he'll seek out the sort of gentleness that such a person would normally exhibit in an empath, even if the ability isn't there. Blatant seduction and manipulation of emotions for personal gain is a huge turn off for Kamille, finding such manipulative behavior to be, for lack of a better term, asshole-ish. What side of whatever army you're part of is irrelevant to Kamille, so long as you're kind and not a dick, you're in.
Physically speaking, Kamille isn't particularly picky. If you look cute enough, he'll go for it, regardless of gender. If you have a quality of mystery, more power to you. There aren't any limits, but the more blatantly beautiful you are, the more careful you'll have to play if you want to win Kamille's heart

What kind of character they'd be attracted to: Typically? Strong, quieter types who probably aren't actually very good for him, or generally nice, fairly normal nice people.
