Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... [Bathing alone, are we? Cleanliness is next to godliness, they say, and of course hygiene is so very important to the company image. Even their little lab rats need to remain properly sanitised; after all, imperfections breed imperfect results. As a professional, one should take pride in the purity of one's research subjects.

Or at least the more valuable ones.

Those that are dispensable are left to their own devices regarding personal grooming. Of course, most do a fair job of maintaining it themselves, but they - for example, mere bodyguards of a particular treasure, nothing more than a side project in their own right - generally have no one to tell them to bathe at specific times, or whether they are allowed certain luxuries. Nor has anyone in particular told them, specifically, not to personally indulge in the company of said treasure while he's bathing.

Yet.

Surely that will change, eventually. Particularly since one such side-project has just slipped in through the door and is casually shrugging out of his waistcoat. Loosening his tie. Don't mind him, Sei. You just keep on scrubbing and ignore the man who may or may not intend to strip all the way down and join you.]

The idea of a bath somehow came into his conversation with Naoto, and they were both within the tub. Hei leaned against the edge, stretching out and sighing at the warm waters around some of his aching muscles. Working already.]

Billy sighed softly, blissfully as hot water from the shower head pounded into his sore muscles, already significantly helping ease the aches and pains that he had gathered from a long day of training and the occasional crimes they broke up. Not for the first time he envied Teddy's natural healing ability, the Skrull/Kree hybrid never seemed to suffer from weary muscles and minor injuries for too long. But he couldn't hate on Teddy for that, and he was eternally glad that he didn't have to watch his boyfriend suffer often.

Reaching around the shower blindly for his shampoo, after not coming into contact with any bottles within a few seconds he squinted his eyes open and groaned when he saw that it was missing from its usual place. He could try to magic a new bottle to himself or get out of the shower and look for it but both options seemed highly disagreeable to his lazy, relaxing body. Option c it was. "Ted~dy!" he called out loudly, poking his head out from behind the curtain to be heard over the roar of the water, "Can you bring the shampoo to me?"

It was rare that Conner found someone that could keep up with him when it came to strength and durability and he was pretty happy when Thor proved to be one of those people. The two of them had goofed around, sparred, fought some weird looking monster, and ended up dirty and it all had Kon in a great mood.

"Woo! C'mon, man. Let's go get cleaned up and maybe find some food," Conner offered, getting up from the spot on the ground he'd been resting after their last quick spar. He was waiting for Thor to lead the way since he knew where they were a lot better than him anyway.
