Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? [Relaxation was always something Hei could use, stress becoming a factor that could hinder his abilities. The idea of a bath somehow came into his conversation with Naoto, and they were both within the tub. Hei leaned against the edge, stretching out and sighing at the warm waters around some of his aching muscles. Working already.]

Very good idea, Naoto.

[Given her own work schedule being hectic on occasion, Naoto needed a break herself. Still, who could say when one of them would be called out again so it needed to be something simple that could be left without too much frustration. Besides, a warm bath helped relax the muscles.]

[He stares down at the water. He could hazard a guess but it probably be best if she figured it out for herself.]

[She has a faint voice telling her why, but she doesn't want to believe it. Instead, she closes her eyes and lets herself sink in a little more.]

[He remains quiet on the matter as well, sinking into the water a bit more as well. But given the size of the tub, he accidentally rubs his legs against hers.]

[Her legs twitch as she jumps slightly, but she doesn't pull away. It's a small bath, she tells herself. Of course they're going to touch.]

Are you alright?

[He seemed unfazed, but an idea was forming. Maybe he could help her thoughts a bit more...]

I'm... I'm fine.

[Nothing's wrong. She just closes her eyes again.]

... I wouldn't mind.

Then turn around.

[If nothing else, getting her more comfortable could help her thoughts a bit more. Maybe. Hei wasn't always right.]

[She hesitates, but eventually turns around.]

[Strong hands find her soft skin, and slowly get to worj masaging those muscles.]

[She's tense alright, but slowly, she begins to relax against him.]

[And he continues, delighted in seeing her relax a bit more now. He still moves his hands, palms rubbing against her back.]

[Eyes still closed, she's leaning more, and a soft breath escapes her lips. She can feel more of her tension just melting away.]
