Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... Most likely Owari had finally gotten the better of him, but he hadn't disclosed why, yet. Whether it was Tsumiki's personality or Nidai's usual innocent frankness, he'd somehow managed to convince her to join him in one of the island's bathhouses where he'd already stripped down to simply a towel.

[ It had been a while since they'd had to go on a mission, so the last few months were relatively quiet, and full of work at the mansion. Ororo hadn't complained; though quiet, this time had been full of surprises. Not the least of which was the way she'd unexpectedly come to know Logan a little better. In more ways than one.

But today the Professor had gotten a tip on an outspoken anti-mutant organization that called themselves the Friends of Humanity. They were gathering in numbers, the Professor said, and it was making him uneasy. He sent a team to scope them out and to figure out how much of a threat they were. It was supposed to be a simple recon mission, but of course it hadn't ended that way.

Thankfully, no one was badly hurt in the battle. But it had taken a lot out of the team, and Ororo had spent the last thirty minutes making sure everyone was fine and off to get some hard-earned rest before she thought to do the same for herself. She was bruised and tired and her uniform was dusty and cut in a couple of places. Much as she wanted to climb into bed and sleep til morning, she knew she should probably hit the showers, first. She sighed, calling out to the only other person still in the locker room with her. ]

... I am going to take a nice, long bath before heading to bed, I think.
