The Intimacy Bathing Meme
the intimate bathing meme; ![]() |
Grooming is an important part of many species' rituals. It keeps them clean, healthy, and content. And a good bath? It can change the whole tone of a day from terrible to relaxed and blissful. But nudity is sometimes viewed as a weakness - and it is almost always sexualized - so bathing is often kept a private matter. If you do share these moments with someone, they're almost always a significant other or a sexual partner. Like you're doing now. Whether it be after a battle or after sex (or before sex, even), the two of you are going to get clean. Be sure to help each other out with that, won't you? After all, there are places on the back that just can't be reached... HOW TO PLAY:

Or at least the more valuable ones.
Those that are dispensable are left to their own devices regarding personal grooming. Of course, most do a fair job of maintaining it themselves, but they - for example, mere bodyguards of a particular treasure, nothing more than a side project in their own right - generally have no one to tell them to bathe at specific times, or whether they are allowed certain luxuries. Nor has anyone in particular told them, specifically, not to personally indulge in the company of said treasure while he's bathing.
Yet.
Surely that will change, eventually. Particularly since one such side-project has just slipped in through the door and is casually shrugging out of his waistcoat. Loosening his tie. Don't mind him, Sei. You just keep on scrubbing and ignore the man who may or may not intend to strip all the way down and join you.]

he blinks as the other man begins to remove his own clothing, though, peering over the rim of the tub at him in curiousity and questioning. usually he and virus are together; that they're not isn't upsetting, just.. unusual. of course, usually they don't join him in the tub, either, which is what appears to be happening. ]
--Trip? [ there's soap on one white shoulder, soap in his hair, and water beading on his lashes, and he looks like he's not quite sure whether to protest or not. not that it matters, really-- trip and virus do what they want, and they're immune now to his eyes. ]
