[If Sam truly doesn't mind, then Castiel's not going to argue the point. He'd rather not interact with Dean that much until he's actually Dean again, because who knows what Abaddon would try next?

It's something he would very much prefer they not talk about, but he doesn't exactly blame Sam for asking. For him, it must have come out of nowhere. And to an extent that's the case with Castiel as well.

But between all the joking that's flung around about them, he isn't that surprised that a demon would go so far with it.]

I'm fine. I'm more worried about Dean.

[They need to fix this as soon as possible.]

Were you going to try and deal with this now? [He is very much ready and willing to go check in on Boots in the meantime.]

I don't want her in him any longer than she has to be.

[ He's not going to press, not when Cas looks like that. If he wants to go take care of the dragon, Sam's not going to object to it. Reaching out, he curls a hand around his shoulder and squeezes just briefly, before pulling back. ]

I'll yell if I need you.

[ And then he pulls back, and heads in, the door slamming closed behind him. Once he's in there, he glances over at her- at Dean, and exhales. ]

You could just tell me where the sigil is because I'm gonna find it either way.

[Castiel can agree with that. Who knows what Abaddon's putting Dean through at this point. She might have the ability to communicate with him mentally, and demons like her are far too good at getting under someone's skin. In this case, literally.

He nods, appreciating the fact that Sam's willing to handle this. He won't stray far enough away that he wouldn't be able to hear Sam call for him, but at least handling Boots will give him something to focus on.

And so he heads off.]

[When Sam steps inside, Abaddon lifts a hand up as far as she's able considering how she's shackled in order to wave at him.

All things considered, she doesn't look that bothered by the fact that she's been caught. Nor is she going to make things all that easy for Sam here.]

That wouldn't be very fun. Maybe I want you to look.

[She prefers Dean, to the point that she picked out his body as the one to possess, but she's not going to refuse Sam's attentions. Equal opportunity, that's her way when it comes to taking advantage of dumb hunters.

Really, though, this is all about making both of the Winchesters uncomfortable.] Pretty sure Dean liked kissing that angel. You might wanna ask him about it sometime. [She scoffs and shakes her head.] So much repression.

[ Ugh, don't wave at him. Sam grimaces, stepping inside the room and rolling up his sleeves. He really, really doesn't want to play find the binding sigil, but they've been living together so long that it's not going to be that weird.

Dean'd rather get the bitch out either way. ]

We're gonna find a way to kill you.

[ Sam glances up at her, flicking his knife out to start cutting at Dean's sleeves. Sorry, dude, you can't keep the shirt if he's going to have to go hunting. ]

Pretty sure it doesn't matter if he does or doesn't like kissing Cas.

[ Which. It doesn't. He hopes Dean hears that, because really, he's not worried if he does like him or not. Sam moves up his arm, twisting it this way and that, careful with the knife. ]

Maybe it doesn't matter to you, but it sure does matter to him.

[Abaddon shifts up as much as she can while Sam cuts her shirt off. Dean may not be enjoying this, but she is, and that's what matters. She would enjoy getting handsy if only to see how uncomfortable it would make Sam, but the shackles make that impossible.

They don't seem to have considered that maybe this is exactly where she wants to be. She's going to find her way back into this bunker soon enough, and getting a look at it has already offered some insights.]

So much pent up in here, Sam. I'm sure you know. Your brother is the poster boy for repression. He could do with giving into those urges every once in a while.

[She shrugs her shoulders, eyeing Sam idly as he works.] Castiel isn't really my type, but I guess I can see the appeal. Who wouldn't want to debauch an angel?

[ Dean throws a fit in there - he's not able to do anything, but that doesn't mean he's not pissed as all hell that she's getting mouthy and spilling secrets, things he's buried so deep down that he hasn't even acknowledged them and now she's rambling them off like it's nothing.

Sam keeps working, keeps her occupied, though. That's all he can ask until they can exorcise the bitch.

I don't have any fucking urges, he snarls at her, and tries to shove, to push her back and away from him while Sam keeps working. Come on Sammy, hurry the fuck up.

Sam, on the other hand, barely acknowledges her words. No sense in giving her more ammunition that she doesn't need. ]

Don't make me gag you.

[ because it's tempting. Soon enough, he finds the brand on Dean's skin and can't resist the thin-lipped look he sends her as he thumbs over the fresh burn. It's easy enough to cut it, but he's not sure if that's better than a burn or not.

There's a beat of hesitation, and then he gets up, dragging the knife out of its sheathe to jerk that part of Dean closer and start slicing, careful. ]

Oh, I'd like to make you do a lot of things.

[Abaddon smirks at Sam, even as she feels Dean losing his cool in the passenger seat. It's kind of adorable, in a way that's also really annoying.

She would have thought Hell would have loosened Dean up a little, but apparently not. Sodomy isn't even that much of a sin these days.

Unsurprisingly, Sam finds the brand. Abaddon gives him an innocent look and shrugs, as if it's not her fault that it's there.]

Thanks for giving me a tour of your bunker here. This was fun while it lasted. [She says it all casually, even as Sam works the knife through Dean's flesh.]

I'm sure.

[ Gross.

He wishes he could trap her but short of letting her into himself and figuring something out, there's no way. Better to banish her ass and worry about this later. They'll get Dean a new tattoo, make sure he's okay, and then hunt her down.

Reciting the exorcism is easy as can be, and he wishes, not for the first or probably last time, that he had his powers so he could just snuff her out. Maybe he could do it, maybe not, but it'd be worth it, for her.

The moment she's gone, he's reaching out to Dean, pressing a handkerchief to his skin where the blood soaks through and grips him tight, talking to him in low tones. Are you okay, Jesus, Dean, are you- ]

[ Dean jangles the chains impatiently, sweat dampening his shirt as he strains and everything starts to hit him, leaving him dry-heaving a moment, snapping a hand to his mouth to stop himself from throwing up all over Sam's shoes like a fucking chick. ]

[Castiel may not be able to sense much these days, but that's not the case for Boots. Dragons are tuned into things in much the same way as angels, it seems. Right in the middle of eating his dinner, Boots perks up, wings raising slightly as he responds to something.

Then the next thing Castiel knows, the dragon's tearing down the hall. It's not at all like Boots to abandon a meal half-finished, so clearly something's happened.

It's difficult not to let some amount of panic overtake him as they make their way down to the dungeon where Abaddon and Dean had been chained up. What if it all went horribly wrong, and Castiel wasn't even there to help?

But Boots bounds through the door and barrels right into Dean, shoving his face against his chest. When Castiel follows and is greeted with that image, he lets out a breath, instantly relieved.

He moves over to Sam and claps a hand on his shoulder.] You did well. [As for Dean, Castiel will give him a moment or two to fight off Boots before saying anything.]

Ah, dude, hang on -

[ NOPE, chest full of anxious dragon right in his face. Dean huffs and gropes out for him, stroking a hand over his head with a roll of his eyes. Jesus, fucking dragon.

After a few moments of mumbling I'm fine, dude, relax, I'm fine, aren't you supposed to be ea- Jesus, you're heavy, Boots finally decides that's enough and drapes himself over Dean's lap instead, face buried in his armpit. It's a test to see how much of the man he can cover with his body.

And wow, surprise surprise, while Sam's talking to Cas quietly, Dean's avoiding even looking at him. ]

Yeah, thanks, Sammy.

[ Sam glances over, and hesitates. What if he just left them to talk? It doesn't seem like a great idea, knowing Dean, but it can't hurt that much.

He turns to Cas for the moment, squeezing his shoulder, and says he's going to go fix something up for Dean to eat, and then they're alone.

Dean could win the gold medal of avoiding eye contact, if he wanted, right now. ]

Well, that was-- shitty, let's never do that again. C'mon, you're getting fat, get up, Boots.

[Boots does a good job of expressing all of the relief that Castiel and Sam have a more difficult time putting into words. Not that it's unusual for one of them to end up in danger, but Abaddon is not to be underestimated. She'll no doubt be after them again, before long.

Once Boots has calmed down and Sam has taken his leave, Castiel moves over to take a seat next to Dean and the dragon. The closeness could lead to more awkward moments, but if they're sitting next to each other eye contact can actually be brought to a minimum. They're looking in the same direction, after all, and Castiel's also able to focus on Boots instead, running his hand over his scaled back.

It requires moving into Dean's personal space slightly, but Castiel doesn't consider that.]

He's a dragon, he's bound to be heavy.

[And it still surprises him that he's not larger.]

Have you learned your lesson to not head out on your own next time? Something that seems small and unimportant can very easily become the opposite.

Yeah, well, he can be heavy some other place that ain't my lap.

[ Except he's not pushing the dragon aside, he's wrapping an arm around his neck, stroking a hand over his head idly. It still is a little weird, having a dragon as a pet, but at this point this is the least weird shit that's happened to him in a while.

Of course, Cas doesn't stay on his side- he comes over, settles in and Dean goes stiff, tense. ]

Excuse you, I'm not a fucking kid, I can go out without parental supervision.

[ Angry is easier, angry is safer. It means they don't have to talk about the shit Abaddon said. ]

[Much as Dean might complain about their pet, he isn't shoving Boots off of him, which means that in the end it's all talk. He can keep that up as long as he likes, and it's never going to be any more convincing.

Castiel feels Dean tense next to him and glances over, frowning for a moment. There's no need for him to get so upset, but it's no surprise that he'd on edge after being possessed. Along with everything else.]

Apparently not.

[He leans in to look at the bloodstains on Dean's shirt, the ripped apart place where the tattoo had been removed.]

The next time you leave this place, it should be to get a new one. [It won't be safe out there otherwise.]

[ He braces, waiting for Cas to finally call him out on it - to let him know how fucked up all of this is, so he can just blame it on Abaddon, but he doesn't.

Dean scratches behind Boots' jaw, where the scales turn less hard and more soft and snakelike, grimacing as he shoves his nose into Dean's armpit and exhales hot air. Easy, he mumbles, and shifts so it's a little less uncomfortable. ]

No, I was just gonna walk around with a big get inside me, it's a fucking free for all tattooed there instead.

[Castiel rolls his eyes and leans back until he's against the wall, frustrated the Dean's taking this all out on him. It's not his fault that Dean got possessed (as much as it feels like it is), and it's not his fault that Abaddon said all those things.

As he sits there, he studies the line of Dean's shoulders, the tenseness of his back, and he wonders if there's anything he can say that won't get a rough response. He can't ignore it, not when he still has a clear memory of the way Dean's lips had felt against his own.]

If there was any truth to her words... it's fine. You should know that.

[Castiel is hardly one to be bothered by that kind of thing, and the bigotry he's seen among humans is distasteful to him. Dean doesn't need to be so concerned about it.]

[ Fucking hell, he just wants to get up, but Boots is heavy and will throw a fit and if he goes out there, then Sam's going to be waiting and give him an interrogation, too. Or tell him he shouldn't have gone out on his own like he's a goddamn child.

Boots huffs out a breath, and opens one eye, squinting at him, before settling in more heavily. Apparently he's not moving either way. ]

It's - sure, fine. We don't ever need to talk about that. Hell, just pretend like it didn't happen.

[ It's fine, like Dean had spilled some juice in the bunker or something. It's fine, it doesn't matter. ]

[It's completely like Dean to shove something away when he doesn't want anything to do with it, but Castiel isn't willing to let it go this time around.

Mainly because he doesn't understand Dean's rejection of what happened, or why it's so violent. It seems like Abaddon could have done and said much worse things.]

Why? Why should we pretend that it didn't happen?

[If Dean's going to try and cope in that way, then the least he can do is give Castiel some kind of explanation.]

Probably because she started playing kissyface with you.

[ That's one reason, right. That seems the most valid, all things considered.

Plus there's the fact that Cas doesn't seem interested in any of that shit and it's totally different to take him to a cat house and set him loose versus trying to kiss him and expecting it all to be great and no problem at all. Hell. ]

I don't see what's so problematic about that. Kissing is supposed to be a good thing, isn't it?

[It's not as if this was Castiel's first time. Kissing Meg had actually been pleasant, and he didn't even like her as a person as much as he did Dean.

Then there had been Daphne, and while those memories feel distant and indistinct, there's no denying that they had done their fair share of kissing as well, and nothing about it had been bad.

While he's never put much thought to whether or not he'd like to kiss Dean, now that it's happened (even if it had been with Abaddon as a conduit), he finds he's not all that opposed to the idea.

Especially if it is something that Dean himself wants.]

[ Ugh, why does he have to explain this. It's not like he can move, though, not with the dragon in his lap, a low rumble sounding from him that's nearly a purr. Christ.

Dean winds his arm around the dragon and strokes between his wings, needing to do something with his hands.

He knows Cas has kissed people before, but this is different. ]

You're not supposed to kiss someone if you don't want to. [ It's a weak explanation, but it works well enough. ]

[Castiel understands that much. The fact that Abaddon took advantage of the situation is obviously a problem, but that doesn't defeat the fact that if Dean had wanted it, that may be something worth addressing.]

The circumstances were wrong, but...

[But what? It seems to Castiel that now that this has been brought up, they can't simply ignore it, or it's going to continue bothering him.

Dean may be willing to bottle it up, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's healthy for him to do so.]

Are you saying you don't want to, then?

[90% of the things that Dean does aren't healthy for him to do, so.

Dean exhales slowly, dragging his hand over his face and feels the dragon let out a little huff in sympathy, nosing against him. Cat's already out of the bag, ain't it? No sense in putting up a bitchfest now. If Cas wants to bolt, then, that's his thing. ]

I'm not saying I didn't want to, I'm saying it's bullshit that's what happened.

[ Ugh. Dean still isn't looking at him. ]

What about you, huh? Gettin' the full human experience, shitty demon kisses and all.

[It's much easier with them not looking at each other, which is a far cry from how they usually are, but Castiel prefers this for now. He remains leaning against the wall, with only Dean's back to study.

It's true that it shouldn't have happened that way, if it was going to happen at all. He can understand Dean's frustration with it.]

Demons taste like sulfur. It's not... particularly pleasant, but the act itself is enjoyable enough.

[Kissing Dean rather than kissing Abaddon in Dean would probably be a much nicer experience, though he's not certain that's ever going to happen at this point.

Nor does he really know how he feels about it. He's never had to examine his own emotions about this until now.]

[ Yeah, he's shoving at Boots after a moment, lips twisted into a scowl as he nudges the dragon away enough to stand up, and shake some feeling back into his legs again. ]

That's not the kinda thing you just do with someone 'cause it feels "enjoyable enough."

[ That's the kind of thing he does with people because it's enjoyable but Cas...he can't imagine Cas taking to women and bars and such like it's the easiest thing. It's different here and Dean's already bad enough for him, he shouldn't make it worse. ]
