HOW IT WORKS:

You can either use the RNG or pick whichever creature you like.
Leave a comment with your muse. Now they are a mythical creature.
Others will tag your muse as a different or the same magical creature, or a human, or what they naturally are, or whatever they like.
If you'd prefer, all these creatures can appear human, but shift between forms.

[She blinks.]

A...A-A ride?

...Where?

I dunno, around? [He shrugs, and chuckles.] Just a little romp in the waves.

O-Oh... [She glances at the trash bag she has with her for a moment, then rises to her feet.] O-Okay...Let me just...throw this away first...

Yeah, sure thing. [He backswam a bit, glancing along down the shoreline.]

I'll be waiting where the sand meets the water, alright? Where it's better for people to go.

[She nodded.] O-Okay. I'll meet you there.

[And with that, she carefully climbed back over the rocks to get to the main part of the beach.]

[He watched her carefully, at least until she was out of sight. Then he dipped back into the water and swam up to the beach, which was thankfully quiet on this day.

Circling a little where it started to get deep, he started poking through clamshells imbedded in the surf to pass the time.]

[Soon she returned to the shore, wading out into the water just a bit as she kept an eye out for him.]

Ch-Chris...?

[He paused, then poked his head out of the water.

Swimming in a little, he braced himself in the sand and propped his shoulders out, grinning.]

Over here, Fluttershy!

[Finally spotting him, she carefully wades over, trying to keep her balance as the waves push and pull along the shore line.

She barely reaches him before a particular wave crashes over them, and stumbles with a squeak.]

Fluttershy! [He swam up to her, pulling himself a bit on the sand to do so, and taking her hands to pull her up.] You alright?

[She coughs, sputtering a bit. Some of her hair had fallen loose from the braid and covered her face, sticking to her skin.]

Y-Yes, I'm...I'm okay...

[He breathed out a short laugh and brushed her hair back, smiling softly.]

That's good. Wouldn't want ya to hurt yourself out here.

[She blinked a little, glancing up at him when he brushed back her hair. Then she blushed.]

Mm...th-thanks...

Good. [Then he brightened a little.] Ready?

[She nodded slightly.] R-Ready.

Okay! [He swam backwards and spiraled a little into the deeper water, then popped up again.]

C'mon!

[She followed him, and when it eventually got deep enough that she couldn't stand any longer she swam over to him, trying to stay afloat.

It's a good thing she wouldn't be doing any actual swimming, because she's not very good at it.]

[He smiled and came up beside her, keeping pace.]

Alright, when you're ready just grab onto my shoulders, okay?

[The color on her cheeks darkened.] O-Okay...

[Very slowly, she reached out and grabbed on, holding on as best she could.]

[Once he felt that her hold was solid he started forward, swimming easily along the surface of the water, steadily moving away from shore in long, gradual zig-zags.]

[She gasped when he started, having to hold on tighter by wrapping her arms around him.]

Just tell me if I'm going too fast, alright? [He glanced back over his shoulder with a smile.]

[Looking at him, she smiled shyly and nodded.] O-Okay...

[He nodded, then swam out a little further ahead. As they left the close sight of the shore he started swimming straighter, following the line of land.]

[As they swam out farther, she strengthened her hold just a bit. The water was pretty deep now, well above what she was used to. As long as she was with him, though, she knew she'd be all right.]
