Intimacy is the glue of any relationship, albeit romantic or friendship. It's getting to the root of humanity, and expanding upon ourselves and letting others in.

Rules:
1. Post with your character.
2. Go to rng and roll from 1-6.
3. Post to others.
4. Profit

Scenes:
1. First Kiss. Maybe you've been harboring feelings or maybe this is random. But it feels good to be that close to someone.

2. Love Confession. You have been head over heels for this person and now it's time to try and get close to them.

3. Secrets. You've been hiding yourself from someone and now it's time to stop. They need to know the real you.

4. First Time. First time you have sex is always nerve racking, but it's in these moments that you show how much you truly care about someone.

5. Shower. Perhaps you've been together for awhile. Maybe you've told each other everything. Maybe you're just dirty and need to get cleaned up. But letting the water flow between two people is still pretty intimate.

6. Post-Coital Bed. Do you feel talkative after sex? Want to ponder the meaning of life / if you guys are more than a one-night stand? Better to do it after the deed probably.. at least your partner will be in a good mood?

7. Road Trip. Good for that bonding experiance you never had! Bad diner food and weird landmarks you never knew you wanted to see! Will it bring you closer to your friend / lover?

8. Drunk. Are you the happy or sad kind? Clingy, or flighty? Maybe you just need a hug, to snuggle close.. to whoever's around at the time!

9. Winter. What could be a better time to curl up with a book, or exchange soft words in the glow of the fire? Hot chocolate time!

10. Free verse. Did I leave something out? Want to combine? Make up your own or pick from the others.

Dean shifted uncomfortable as he looked around the super fancy restaurant. In all honesty it wasn't even fancy, just good but to Dean sizzler was a big night out, so he was totally lost. He got it, the guy wanted to take him out to dinner as a whole "thanks for making sure I didn't die" thing, but that didn't make this any less awkward.

They did have pretty damn good steak, he'd give them that. But he couldn't help feeling weird, this looked too much like a date for his liking. "Gotta say...this is definitely an improvement on the demon karaoke bar..."

The place was fancy and high class, but because he wanted to put Dean at ease, it was a human establishment. Still, Lindsey joined Dean in eatingwith an exquisite dinner of red wine and blood sausages.

"You're just racist towards non-humans," Lindsey murmured, the humor in his voice showing the joke in his words. "Your superior complex is showing."

He nodded in agreement, taking another bite of his rib eye. "I am, I'm totally racist against demons. Especially ones with red eyes who dress like Christmas ornaments. That guy was a scam, why do you go there? I mean besides the whole getting to see your demonic groupies," Dean smirked, taking a swig of his beer.

Lindsey actually laughed to that as he took a sip of his red wine. Dinner was done with and it left him to enjoy the rest of his bottle as he enjoyed both the atmosphere and company. He hadn't dined out in a very long while.

"As much as I hate to say it, his advice was sound. We pulled through and we're both in one piece, although I might send a letter of complaint anyway for withholding crucial information." Even now, with both of them healed and the event nearly a week behind them, Lindsey's eyes still darkened at the memory of torture. "I'd have expected more out of him."

"That or you just followed the advice wrong, for all the crap you gotta go with...dude should be less cryptic. And did you see the drink prices? Asshole," Dean shook his head.

"But yeah...more or less in one peace besides the whole being tortured and/or stabbed thing. From now on I should probably stay out of the office and you should probably stay out of the killing monster business."

Lindsey grimaced and shook his head. "I'm usually not trying to kill them," he reminded although he didn't deny that the frequency of that had gone up lately.

"And stop complaining about the prices. You weren't picking up the tab anyway," he said with a side of a smirk. "The Host's helped me through a lot of tough spots before, I mean, look at this, we could both be dead. It's nice to have a place where no one's giving you trouble."

"I just never knew LA was this messed up man, no wonder I try like hell to avoid the coasts." He shook his head and finished the rest of his drink.

"I think big cities are the same no matter where you go," he countered. "It's survival out there, and smaller things get eaten up by bigger stuff, it's just more literal in our world." Lindsey sent Dean another smile. "I know you're racist against demons and all, but the Host likes humans. You should give that place another try." The way he spoke, he seemed to imply tonight.

"Screw the demon part, I don't like karaoke bars, no way in hell am I going back there," he shook his head. "I don't sing. Besides, don't I have curfew soon?"

"That's different, you're out with me," Lindsey pointed out. "It's not like you're running off and off the map." Although he did chuckle when Dean insisted he didn't sing. "That's the grand thing about Caritas, it doesn't matter if you can't sing." Yet Lindsey shrugged, showing he wouldn't push the issue. "What type of bar would you prefer then?"

"I don't know, the kind with cheap booze and hot women?" Dean shrugged, knowing very well that he wouldn't be going anywhere near one of those with Lindsey.

Lindsey frowned and finished his glass of wine. "We're not exactly dressed in the right clothes to hit those kind of places tonight," Lindsey pointed out instead, more himself than Dean. It wasn't that he wouldn't, but he was in a suit and would stand out like a sore thumb.

"Can't really see you in that kind of place anyway, besides I don't need you freaking out on me and trying to jump me in the middle of the bar..." Dean shrugged, looking down awkwardly. "Doesn't matter, I'm still not 100% anyway, this little thank you dinner that in no way feels like a date is probably all I'm up for."

Lindsey woke up several hours later, much longer than he would have liked but more peacefully rested than he had been in a long time. He yawned and smiled, then shifting, looked to Dean still laying beside him.

Quietly trying not to disturb the other man's sleep, he sat up so he could begin that research he said he would do.


(( Up to you, both choices are really tempting. Yeah... Dean has every right to be angry at Linds for that, but then again, to be fair, Linds honestly thought Dean will kill them both if that soul came back. At the very least, their short burst of happiness will be over. ))

Dean grumbled, frowning in his sleep. He reached put and tried to pull the other man back to where he belong, laying beside him.

Carefully Lindsey untangled himself from Dean's limbs and kissed the other vampire lightly on the forehead. "You go on and sleep," he murmured, "I'm going to make sure that soul won't bother you."

Smiling at the image that Dean represented sprawled on the bed, the lawyer slipped away with that memory in mind.


(( Okies! They still have trouble coming their way anyway. W&H won't be happy with them, so Lindsey might need to go on the run. ))

Dean growled softly, reaching out to grab the pillow left behind and pulled that to him instead, quickly drifting off to sleep.

He woke up a few hours later when it was just starting to get dark outside. He frowned seeing Lindsey was gone, not remembering him leaving before. He got up and finally put clothes on for the first time since Lindsey had ripped them off. His skin felt so damn sensitive so he went with a soft black shirt and pajama pants before wandering into the living room. "Linds? You still here?"

Dean would find that the apartment was cleaned, no signs of the two dead bodies from yesterday remained. No sign of anyone for that matter, although there was a note pinned to the coffee table telling Dean that Lindsey had gone to do research and he would hopefully be back soon. If he was hungry, there was fresh blood in the fridge and, for now, please be tolerant and don't go anywhere.

It wasn't until an hour later and it was fully dark outside that Lindsey rushed in, a bag in one hand and several papers in the other.

"Dean? Dean, are you around?" he asked as soon as he got in with the door barely shut behind him. "I think I have it. Come on, we have to hurry."

Dean was less than thrilled when Lindsey got home, pacing around the apartment with built up energy from being stuck inside all day. Not to mention his stomache ach from that shitty refrigerated blood. Lindsey got a glare when he walked in the door and though he obediently made his way to his Sire, the older vampire's excitement wasn't contagious. "What is it? What do I have to do?"

"A tattoo," Lindsey answered, pulling his childe to him and settling them both on the couch. "The ink needs to be specially made to stay in our skin, and I have the ingredients and design here..." He showed the Dean the sheet of paper that he held up until now. "As soon as we're done, we're going to have to leave. Things were already heated when I went to get these."

Dean let himself be dragged to the couch but shifted a little from Lindsey. "A tatto for eternity...awesome. Hope I can put it somewhere hidden.". He sighed, trying to pay attention to what was going on. "So how fucked are we?"

Lindsey paused long enough to grimace at the question. "They want to shove a soul back into you and possibly make you the next Angel... as for me..." Lindsey's expression didn't show good news. "Let's just get this tattoo on you. It doesn't have to be large, but needs to be somewhere that can't be removed. Where do you want it?"

Now I just see the ultimate f u of dean getting the shanshu

"What, they want me sanctimonious and using too much hair product.". He sighed, trying to figure out what he could do. "My shoulder blade? I guess? Would that work? And how are we getting rid of your soul?"

Oh man... actually, that wouldn't be a bad thing for Dean anyway. Just Lindsey.

"No, they want a vampire with a soul on their side." He motioned for Dean to turn around and take the black shirt off. "That was the whole deal with Angel, they wouldn't let me kill him because a vampire with a soul is an important part of the apocalypse."

Mixing the ingredients together, Lindsey murmured a latin incantation that had the mixture turning black on its own. "I haven't really had time to figure that part out yet. I came back as soon as I found the stuff for this."

"Don't they kind of already have a vampire with a soul on their side? Or....well they did.". Until Lindsey chose him over his company, which granted was the better choice.

Dean took off his shirt and settled down on the couch, back towards Lindsey. "You're sure about this whole tattoo thing, right? Like....very sure? No possible side effects? I'm not gonna grow a third eye or drop dead or something?"
