Are you sure it was real crystal? Real and expensive? If the crystal is not expensive enough it won’t do a thing for the wine, and in that case liberal application of the substance is the only cure.

If it was truly that bad then, of course, you have my condolences. Did you keep the crystal as recompense? It sounds more than earned.

Just because I don’t use it doesn’t mean I don’t like a full set. When you give up that road life you’ll understand how nice it is to have a perfectly arranged China cabinet.
