[He takes the direction and sits where Elan sat, proudly naked, and waits for the spa treatment to start. Not that getting hosed down qualifies as "spa treatment," but the warm water feels good running over his skin nonetheless. He's all smiles as he entreats,]

Go ahead, bathe me in the moonlight ♪ Not that one of the other scents wouldn't also be fine, of course. But we might as well match, right?

Don't see a reason not to.

[ He laughs and shakes his head as he settles down and picks up his washcloth. He carefully gets it nice and sudsy before he starts to run it over Hiyori's back in slow, smooth strokes, scrubbing gently against the skin and making sure to get every inch that he can.

It's only fair, right? ]

[Yep, only fair that he should be pampered like a princess. Again, not like his current treatment qualifies, but those hands pushing the cloth over his back do feel good. How long has it been since someone else washed him...? Much as he loves to force his underclassman to take care of him, he's never had Jun do this for him.]

♪~♪~♪

[He leans back into the touch, beginning to hum softly under his breath. One of his songs? Someone else's songs? Who knows.]

[ The humming is honestly pretty nice. He laughs softly and continues his work, his gaze wondering over the nape of Hiyori's neck and lingering there as he scrubs a little lower, working against the small of his back for a few moments. Then his attnetion shifts and he works his cloth against one side of his body and then the other, making sure to get underneath his arms. ]

[He can't exactly feel Elan's eyes on him, but it seems safe to assume they're wandering. No reason for them not to; if anything, it'd be stranger for him not to look. He lifts his arms obligingly when Elan tries to maneuver the cloth under them, continuing to hum softly. On and on he'll keep going, until the song reaches its stopping point.]

[ That's kinda cute, honestly. He laughs quietly and brings the scrubbing cloth around to Hiyori's front, dipping over his chest and then his collar bone and then lower, against his belly. He's a little less thorough than Hiyori was, but that's just his personality - he's still doing his best to give him a decent scrub! ]

[Thorough or not, Elan's scrubbing does feel good, the sensation against his stomach tickling him a little and causing him to squirm on the stool. Now that he's finished humming and the silence has set in, though, he's somewhat bored, so he resumes his usual chatting.]

The acoustics are pretty good in here! I wonder if Elan-kun can sing at all? I get the feeling you'd have a good singing voice, for some reason.

[Who knows what reason that might be?]

[ A mystery. ]

Oh, I don't know. I haven't tried it all that often. Not professionally, anyway. Or even karaoke. So maybe I'd better leave it well enough alone...

[ He sweeps up over his chest and then down again and toward his legs and thighs. He's going a biiit slowly and maybe he's trying to tease a little.

Look, he can't help it. ]

[The problem with Hiyori (or, uh, one of the problems with Hiyori) is that when someone says "Leave well enough alone," he hears "Keep prying!" So his reaction, of course, is turn his head over his shoulder and look to Elan with excitement in his eyes.]

Well now I'm tempted to make a karaoke date! But since the acoustics are good, why not sing something for me now? You could sing a song from your childhood, or whisper a sweet love song in my ear...♪

[He's so preoccupied with the subject that he almost doesn't notice Elan creeping down his thigh with the cloth! ... almost. He does squirm a little at the end there.]

I don't know any good songs.

[ He admits with a shrug. Or maybe it's a lie. Hard to say. ]

Or any love songs. That wasn't the kind of life I lived.

[ He doesn't like talking about his past, honestly. But he'll touch on it. His washing continues - and he lingers a little to tease and pay Hiyori back a bit. ]

Sorry to disappoint you.

[His cheerful smile fades in the bathroom mirror. Not that he's disappointed, or even really surprised. It's just sad to think of a life lived without any songs. Why, even Nagisa received singing lessons as a child, despite all the other joy that was missing from his life. But does this revelation about Elan mean that he should drop the subject?

Nope. It's all the more reason to pursue it, in his mind.]

In that case, I'll just have to share a few.

[He flashes another smile, thoroughly distracted from those hands creeping around in sensitive places. It's fine, he can endure the teasing.]

We should have enough time left to play some songs. I could show you the classics, or what's popular nowadays. But what I really want to share is our songs! We've got songs that'll put you in a cheerful mood and raise your spirits up, songs that'll stir excitement in your heart... Why, who knows? After what we just shared together, you might even relate to some of the lyrics!

[He can't resist adding that last cheeky line. Or tossing Elan a wink, apparently.]

[ Elan scoffs at that last bit as he keeps working his cleaning magic, shifting to scrub down Hiyori's legs and then around to his feet. He's being very thorough! ]

I don't relate quite that much to music, unfortunately for you. But maybe you'll get lucky.

[ He does like Hiyori. But he's also a cynic, so it's hard to get him to admit to much until he's been forced to. Enjoying life? Sure, but he'll kick and scream the whole way. ]

And maybe you'll find something that actually touches me.

[He really is being thorough... Hiyori smiles in appreciation, quite enjoying the sensation of being lavished in attention from head to toe. But that's not all he appreciates. Skeptical or not, Elan just made it clear he is willing to listen to some songs, so that's a win in his book.]

Yep, maybe I will ♪

[An earnest statement full of hope.]

Well, even if love songs aren't something you connect with, you might be surprised by what else we have in our songbook.

[Because it's not just love songs. (Or songs about fucking, though they do have some of those, which is why he cracked that joke a second ago.) Songs about living in darkness and yearning for light; songs about crawling out of a ravine and looking towards the sky; songs about breaking down the wall in front of you to forge your own destiny... Hiyori still doesn't know anything about Elan's circumstances at all, but there might just be something in there the other boy can relate to.]

Now I'm really looking forward to it! But we still have our bath to enjoy, so let's do that first. ... unless you want to listen to songs in the bath?

Mmm, no, let's just do the bath for now.

[ Elan laughs and eases back so he can spray Hiyori down with the faucet. They've gotta get clean, right? Then he settles his hands on his shoulders and gives them a firm squeeze. He's not always sure how he feels about this - well, he feels good or he wouldn't have slept with him - but it's still a little strange. Like he needs to keep some distance. ]

Come on, then.

[ He steps over and goes in first, without much more waiting. It's nice. ]

Time to relax my aching muscles. [ He shoots Hiyori a teasing look. ]

[Relax first, convert Elan-kun into his fan later: it's a plan he can work with. He hops off the bath stool and pads on over to the tub, waiting for Elan to get in first, his lips quirking at that cheeky comment. If Elan expects an apology, he's not getting one!]

Yep, a hot bath is just the thing for that ♪

[Though his partner, who's always doing muscle-training exercises, would know that better than him.

He climbs into the tub next, which is just big enough for two people—perhaps a consequence of it being a love hotel tub.
They're knee-to-knee, rather than in each other's lap. A sigh of pleasure escapes him as he settles in, his gaze eventually turning towards the ceiling—covered in starry wallpaper, of course.]

I can't remember the last time I bathed while looking at the stars. Now I want to go to a hot spring!

An actual hot-spring? I've never been to one. It might be nice to try it...

[ He sounds a little wistful, but maybe that's to be expected. He honestly hasn't had much of a chance to really do anything. But he's slowly stretching his legs, bit by bit, step by step. Well, not right now. Not literally. He has to keep his legs drawn up to make room for Hiyori.

He wriggles his toes as he thinks. ]

You have money, right? You should get us a spot!

[Hiyori glances away from the fake stars and over at Elan-kun. Never, huh? It makes sense that he's eager for new experiences. All the same, Hiyori wasn't sure when or if they'd be making plans again.]

That I do! Though I've also got quite a busy schedule...

[Overnight trips can be hard. Days off are easy enough to come by, but landing two in a row is harder. Then there's another consideration, one he doesn't mention out loud—how would he justify the trip? He'd probably just need to lie and say he got called home, or something. Saying he was going on a hot springs visit with some boy outside ES is bound to raise eyebrows (though thankfully not as many eyebrows as going on a trip with some girl outside ES).

Still, Hiyori never lets people boss him around, not even his own producer. And the thought of visiting a hot spring—of opening Elan-kun up to one more new experience—is nice. Not to mention all the fun they'd have in the hotel room...

So he smiles, knee bumping lightly against Elan's.]

Well, I'll look into it, anyway. A room at a nice traditional inn, and a hot spring with a view... ♪ Those both sound absolutely wonderful.

Maybe I'll even be able to pay you back for it.

[ He snorts. ]

After all, I can't let you pay for everything, can I? What kind of ingrate would I be if I just let you treat me?

[ Although honestly, that'd be easy. And maybe he's not thinking too far beyond what might or could happen or how difficult it might be for Hiyori... but this whole thing is a nice thought. Something he's indulging in a little, even if it's also entirely outside of his experience. ]

It's a bit hard to pay someone back without a job, isn't it?

[Unless Elan-kun comes from wealth. But he doubts it, or else why was he being put to work all day?]

Have you found another one of those since you quit the last one? If so, you can pay for your half if you want. But if not, you'll just have to pay me back in other ways, like by being extra sweet to me...♪

[At least he's not crude enough to suggest Elan pay him back with his body.]

If I have to. You're not leaving me much choice, hmm?

[ He's teasing, mostly. Although he doesn't like being indebted to people all that much. ]

But I guess your terms are fair enough.

Glad you think so!

[He sits back in the tub, his satisfied smile mirroring Elan's.]

You'll focus on finding another job that's better than the last one, and I'll focus on my work! And then, when we meet again, we'll both be shining brighter than we were on the day we met! Doesn't that sound lovely?

Yes... it does.

[ He sinks down into the water a little, his gaze wondering to the ceiling.

What does that even mean, in the end? Guess he'll find out. ]

[Elan-kun seems deep in thought. Probably contemplating his future or some such. For once, Hiyori doesn't interrupt, choosing instead to relax quietly in the bath. He'll count the (fake) stars and enjoy a nice long soak, his nostrils filled with the scent of moonlight.

It's only later, after his skin's acquired a light red flush, that he opens his mouth to break the silence.]

My fingers are starting to get all pruney... Are you all set in here, or did you want to stay a bit longer?

Oh - I think I'll stay a little longer, if that's alright. I want to do some thinking.

[ Look at him, he's got thoughts. ]

[Good to know there's stuff going on in that pretty head.]

Mm, that's fine. I'll leave you to that, then.

[In the meantime, though, he'll be climbing out before he turns into a prune. Elan can enjoy one last chance to ogle him as he towels off, assuming he's not too deep in thought for that. Sadly, it'll be the last chance, since Hiyori's grabbing his clothes on the way out. Yep, it's time to change into those again.

Whenever Elan does get out, he'll find him sitting on a clean corner of the bed with his phone in-hand. There were a couple of new messages left in the Eden groupchat while he was getting busy, though nothing important, thankfully.]
