{ someone had to do a thing, you know the thing you don't do when someone tells you that it will mess everything up for everyone? it happens under the brightness of a black moon phase. magic has been dormant so what does one do at a time like this when there's too much to puzzle? you throw a fuck quests sort of party. after losing the election, he's more okay with it than most would think.

it's exhausting and all eliot wanted for the new year was to relax outside with the moonlight on his face and making sure he basked in a godlike manner. ( although the gods can rot. they haven't been helpful. let's ignore that killing some did have its consequences. c'est la vie !! ) they nearly made it another year, the clock ticking its way into what will surely just be another day. there was a drink in his hand and he could hear the sound of queen rihanna being blasted from the cottage. he was mid smoke break when someone decided to be horny and try to cast aphrodite's kiss once a sprout of magic did come through from the occasional glitch. only to fuck it up and do a body swapping spell.

it sent everyone in radius into a brief nap before awakening minutes later to disturbia playing. the formula had misinterpreted the spell and now eliot isn't outside, rather he's in someone's room. the sensation is odd, but not unwelcoming. his mind is still reeling, so bear with him. once eliot realizes who's room, he laughs and then jolts at the sound that is not his. it only makes him laugh more. it's goddamn ridiculous. he's running his hands through hair that is less unruly, less curly and a lot less than what he's used to. however, it is so finely smooth that it takes him a second to stop touching it.

his first instinct is to find bambi in whatever body she's in, but then he's distracted and considers being nosy over checking out the surely confused guests. this is quentin's room. he's in quentin's body. what an opportunity. }

When five in the morning does come around, he doesn't wake up. It was like his body had no inclination to whatsoever. He might have opened his eyes a little, but ultimately sleep dragged him back under. Like there was a bone tiredness to him. If he had truly woken at five in the morning and paid attention then he'd have realized that things were not as they seemed.

We can do this in a way where they're from like, separate worldlines/timelines and Inaba's side doesn't have powers, magic cellphone/mental communication that comes across like texting, or we can just say she's a normal person in Mikoto's setting? Works either way.]

[ They don’t usually get to fight anything mystic. Sure, there was The Hand, but Danny’s baddies don’t often find their way to New York, which means it’s bound to be interesting when another ancient sworn enemy of the Iron Fist shows up. This one does enchantments, and it takes a bit for Danny (and Matt, since Matt didn’t seem to like the idea of Danny doing this alone) to figure out a strategy. But they do. And just before Matt lands a spectacular knock out hit, their foe mutters out a few unintelligible words.

Nothing happens. Danny has to assume that Matt interrupted the enchantment, but something doesn’t sit well with him. Maybe he just needs sleep.

It’s a few hours after crawling into bed that Danny wakes up. Sounds on the street, things that never bother him, seem glaringly loud and a siren blares by like Danny’s standing right beside it. He opens his eyes to nothing. ]
