TYPES OF SCENES
① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

ACTION.
① Zombies → It's the zombie apocalypse, lock and load!

⑯ Apocalypse → The apocalypse finally happened and now you're left to scavenge and fight for whatever is left.
⑰ Sabotage → It's time to sabotage someone's plan! How is entirely up to you. Do you set up a bomb in their toilet? Do you double cross them at the last minute?
⑱ Big damn hero → You know you have to handle this one alone, so that means disarming or knocking unconscious the person who wants to join you.
⑲ Fight club → You know the rules... you're in an underground fighting ring and you're fighting with all you've got.
⑳ Threaten → You've just been sent here to rough them up a little, threaten them into behaving.

ANGST.
① Injury / illness → Your character has become injured or ill! To what extent is the mun's choice.
② Last moments → You character has been gravely injured and this is their last chance to say their last words.
③ Depression → Your character is depressed, what actions they take is up to the mun.
④ Betrayed → You character has been betrayed by the other. How do they react?
⑤ Tortured → Your character is being tortured and needs rescuing or at least a sympathetic ear to help him through it.

⑪ Worst nightmare → Whatever you fear the most is now real or maybe you're just trapped in a dream together, but whatever it is, it feels too real.
⑫ Addicted → You're addicted to something, alcohol, drugs, sex, whatever. It's destroying your life and you can't do anything to stop it.
⑬ Hurt you → You're being forced to hurt someone you love either by betraying them or even being forced to shout things you don't mean. It's for their own good in the end though.
⑭ Separation → You were forced to leave this person for their own safety and while you've been miserable without them, you really didn't mean to run into them again... maybe it was by accident or you were watching them from afar this whole time.
⑮ Becoming a monster → You are slowly changing, becoming a monster: vampire, zombie, demon, something you can't recover from and no-one can help you.
⑯ Frozen → You are entirely helpless, frozen, to stop some kind of disaster.
⑰ Prison → You were very bad and now it's time to pay the price by turning yourself in or maybe the law just finally caught up to you.
⑱ Fear → You're not sure why, but you are suddenly terrified and you can't deal with it. You need help.
⑲ Hated → You are now hated by the person you loved the most.
⑳ Down and out → You're living on the streets, you've hit rock bottom, and you don't know what to do.

Regulus pulled out the chair at the table with his foot and then fell into with the casual, easy grace of his unexamined privilege. Just fifteen years old and he'd already mastered the contemptuous airs of wealth and purity of his family.

But he was not so skilled in all matters, hence his attendence in this practice room in the dungeons.

Professor Slughorn had pulled him asside and through pretty words explained to him just how dismal his potions marks were, and in a few short months, at the end of fifth year exams, O.W.L., the rest of the wizarding world would know those marks, too. Regulus was about ready to brush off the Potions Master's concerns when the elder wizard just happened to suggest how Regulus' mother would handle seeing a P, D, or T on his results. And that put the fear of ... well, Walburga Black into Regulus.

So here he was, staring just as crossly at the small cauldron and array of potion ingredients in front of him as at his tutor. For more than one reason. Her blood status "beneath" him, being one. Her known association with his brother another. Her House affiliantion, also. But mostly because Lily Evans was here to teach him how to succeed at a subject Regulus had already written off.

He could be out practicing for the next Quidditch match.

But no, this Wednesday afternoon, he was in remedial potions lessons.

The thing about Lily Evans was that she would always want to help. Even if she didn’t want to help, even if she was disinclined to subject herself to an afternoon of what would likely be the most withering of stares administered by someone who thought themself above her - she would still help if she thought it was possible. So while if Slughorn had asked her to right the wrongs of this world or tilt a person like Regulus’ view of those born to families like hers she would have respectfully declined, but preparing someone for the Potions practical leg of the O.W.L. was another matter altogether. She had a bit of a soft spot for Professor Slughorn, and the man knew it and had used it to his advantage when it had come to approaching the topic of assisting Regulus Black. Lily always wanted to help even if it seemed as though it would be at her own peril.

To her credit, Lily ignored the look on Regulus’ face although she thought she could sense his disparaging boredom oozing off of him in waves. All she had to do was walk him through one, maybe two potions, dispense a bit of practical advice and she would be on her way. He couldn’t be that much of a disaster on the subject, could he?

“Right, well,” Lily’s voice broke the silence almost crispily, her head tilting in the direction of the cauldron he seemed more inclined to eye skeptically rather than do anything with. “I thought the best way to go about this would be for me to watch you work and see where you’re having trouble. So-” She didn’t finish her thought out loud, merely tilted her head in the direction of the cauldron in question and look at him expectantly.

She’d selected Pepper-Up Potion for his first attempt. It was complicated enough to be a challenge but if it went wrong nothing too disastrous would happen.

Regulus crossed his arm, slouched back in his chair, and eyed the ingredients - bicorn horn, mandrake root, sprigs of English thyme, salamander blood, fire seeds... None of these sparked an idea of what he should be doing.

"Okay..." Regulus conceeded reluctantly. "What am I supposed to make with this?"

Alright, she hadn't expected problems to arise quite so quickly but Lily decided to believe the best of the situation for now. Clearing her throat she reached across the table, sliding the piece of paper with the potion's instructions on it.

"You're supposed to follow this," she was frowning already and she knew it, once more telling herself there was no way he was as inept as he came off.

It was a few seconds after Lily slid the instructions over to him before he reached for it himself, and he made his displeasure at this whole ordeal known with a deep sigh.

He read to the very first instruction and reached for the pestle and mortor. He at least knew what those were.

He took way too much bicorn and dropped it into the mortor. And the way he jabbed the bicorn with the pestles left a lot to be critiqued.

Standing just to the side of him she was relieved that she was able to roll her eyes without him taking notice because at the sound of that sigh Lily Evans was left with absolutely no choice in the matter.

“Right, stop,” she resisted the urge to grab the mortar and pestle from him, instead of reaching out to rest a hand on his arm and bring his motions to a halt.

“The bicorn is already dead, you don’t need to stab at it Regulus.” Lily did slide the mortar and pestle closer between them, taking up the pestle to grind at the bicorn the proper way a few times before handing it back to him. “The longer this takes the less Quidditch you’ll play,” the young witch added pointedly.

The moment Lily's hand touched him, he just about jumped out of his chair. And he totally missed what Lily was trying to show him.

"Don't touch me! What are you doing?" the accusation was just dripping from his voice.

Lily jumped as well when he spoke, drawing away from him with a bewildered and deep frown on her face. "Sorry?" Unsure what she'd done to offend him she nudged the mortar and pestle back towards Regulus and took a step back, her arms crossing over her chest as she mulled over her confusion.

"I don't want you touching me," Regulus spat back. All thoughts to taking this as a serious attempt to raise his grade flew out of his mind.

Aghast Lily was struck speechless, laughing lightly in disbelief. "That's a disgusting thing to say," there was a seriousness to her voice that wasn't there before as she continued to look at him in shocked disdain. "You deserve to fail, and all the trouble it will bring you, you repugnant little grease stain," that surprise had shifted to anger in a heartbeat, her bright eyes narrowing as she glared. "Disgusting," Lily added one more time before turning on her heel and storming off.

After snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, Regulus' reaped the rewards of his outburst a few weeks later. It was a Monday when the howler arrived for everyone in the Great Hall to hear. The previous Friday he'd failed his potions exam in epic fashion, and it had taken that long for the news to reach Walburga's notice. And she was not pleased.

With every rise in his mother's voice, Regulus wished he could just melt through the cracks in the wooden floor and disappear forever.

The howler ended with a threat to take away his broomstick and end his chance to play Quidditch the rest of the year and Regulus had no reason to not believe Walburga would do just that if he didn't wow her with his next exam.

For that reason, around mid-day he was scouring the library for Lily. He'd asked around for where he could find her.

He walked up to her as if he hadn't tanked his chances at their last meeting - he was a Black, they got everything they wanted. Even if they've pissed off half the school.

"Oi, Evans-" was his tone-deaf opener. "So, you need to start helping me with potions again."

Had it been anyone else Lily would have been mortified on their behalf, but she felt very little that was akin to empathy on behalf of vile Regulus Black. Instead, she like every other student in the Hall awkwardly sat there and listened to Regulus get the dressing down of the term.

She might have even smirked into her pumpkin juice when the matter of his broom came up. However funny Lily had found the howler she did not look at all amused when Regulus approached, staring in surprise at his casually spoken request.

No, not a request, a demand.

So she laughed at him. A loud, shocked laugh that was as awkward to hear as the letter he had gotten from his mother was.

Shaking her head slowly she didn't dignify what he said with a response, striding down the hallway and laughing again.

It was very rarely that Regulus encountered a 'No' when he wanted something. Really, only his mother controlled that distinction. And when Lily laughed at him, and walked away, Regulus was left standing there, utterly confused.

"Hey wait up," he said when his mind realized Lily wasn't stopping. He skipped down the hallway after her. "So after classes today? I don't have Quidditch practice-"

Side-stepping to put a greater distance between them Lily came to a halt looking at him through narrowed eyes. "You're serious?" She scoffed, "I would rather muck the stalls of a whole farm of hippogriffs than help you."

Taking a step forward she paused again and turned to glare at him once more. "You deserve to have your broom taken off you Regulus Black."

"What?" Regulus shot back, incredulous. "Because I'm rubish at potions?"

"Because you're an utterly shite person," she countered over her shoulder, not ordinarily the sort to use such strong language in the halls of the school, if at all, but Regulus invoked a wave of particularly vehement anger in Lily. He had offended her to the core and she wasn't going to forget it.

Regulus literally sputtered.

"Excuse me," he shot back. "What did you just call me?"

He had heard what she said and she wasn't going to tell him a second time, rounding the corner of the hallway to duck into the library, seething with anger.

Regulus stopped in his tracks, waiting for an explanation. When none came, and Lily slipped inside the library, Regulus was left scrambling.

"So you're not going to help me?" he asked, catching up to Lily. And for the first time, the thought that he was good and truly buggered. And he might just actually lose his broomstick.

"I'm not good enough to lay a hand on you, but I am good enough to help you keep your broomstick?" Her scathing reply was almost hissed out as she struggled to keep her voice down within the rows of bookshelves. "That's not how people treat other people and I would prefer it if you never spoke to me again thanks very much."

Regulus huffed in frustration. "You're still upset about that?" He was seeing his situation more and more clearly, in that he was not getting what he wanted and his broomstick was slipping further and further away from him.

"Please help?"

"I don't help people who don't consider me an equal human being I'm odd like that." Lily rounded a corner sharply, hoping he would give up and go away.

Regulus wasn't ready to give up yet, he followed Lily around the bookshelves.

"Well- what do you want me to say? I need the help. Who else am I going to ask?"

"I'm sure with all of the superior, pure blood among you and your friends one of you knows how to make a potion." She shrugged, pulling a book off the shelf to hug it indignantly to her chest. "It makes absolutely no difference to me what you do, just that you do it as far away from me as you can."

Regulus fingered the top of the spine of a book on the shelf.

"Well... I already tried asking Severus but he is very particular about the arangement of his potion ingredients and got mad and banished me from going near his cauldron after I put things out of order." He'd done it on purpose to see what he could get away with but apparently potion ingredients were the line in the sand for Severus. Looking back, Regulus would admit he should have seen that coming.

"Please, Evans?"
