[Which is what he says, but what he does is get up, getting into Shigaraki's space and moves a hand to his neck, just resting it there.]

[ he suspected there was something Dabi wasn't saying—but whatever he expected, it wasn't that. ]

Huh? [ Dabi gets the privilege of seeing him absolutely dumbfounded. ] Wh—

... You didn't sound like you liked it.

[Dabi is a liar and Shigaraki has every reason to look as dumbfounded as he does. ]

You were makin me mad. Now I'm over it.

[ muttered, petulant. ] You were being a dick.

Aren't I always? Figured that had to be something you were into, seeing as that's my personality.

[Dabi puts the slightest pressure around Shigaraki's neck, before letting his thumb travel along his jaw.]

Can I convince you with a kiss?

[wincon]

[ for another moment, he continues eyeing Dabi suspiciously—he doesn't move away though, and that's something. ]

... Maybe. But if you tell me if you really fucked Giran.

[ The look on Dabi's face shifts into something darker and a bit more distant. Maybe even gloomy. ]

Not exactly. He's the one who fucked me.

You didn't think you gained such a talented villain into your ranks out of sheer luck, did you?

[ his frown deepens at that change in expression, and—not fully aware of it himself—he presses his cheek further into Dabi's hand. ]

I thought you came to us because of Stain.

[creamation]

[ dabi was pretty much expecting tomura to pull away because of that, and maybe he should be pulling away too. even with this being his second life, he still doesn't want to share. ]

I did. Doesn't mean he didn't recruit me first.

I needed a place to stay.

[ Is this more than they both wanted to have out in the open? It's not as though Tomura hasn't heard his fair share of messed up shit, but it makes him unexpectedly nervous when he doesn't know how Dabi wants him to react. He just winds up scrutinizing the other man's expression further while he reaches out and lightly clings on to his jacket. Felt weird to be so close but holding nothing when Dabi's already touching him. ]

You don't sound like you enjoyed it much. [ He goes for a statement. Not something Dabi has to confirm or deny (or even answer) if he doesn't want. ]

[ yeah, it's definitely more than what dabi wanted to have out in the open. probably more than tomura wants too. he knows he should move his hand- this is not a moment anymore- but he doesn't exactly want to pull away either.

Still, he's good at pulling away. He's practically made an artform out of it. He almost does so, but then Tomura reaches out and holds on to him too, and dabi stays where he is. ]

I told you how he'd treat you, right?

[he knows from experience.]

Mm—I don't have to worry about getting kicked out though.

[ Maybe there's concern somewhere in the back of his mind, the same way he felt at Twice's determined rampage through Deika, but if anyone needs him to be nice Dabi sure isn't it. Instead, he just pulls Dabi closer, close enough to wrap his arms around then lace his fingers behind the man's back. ]

Gonna finish convincing me?

Wasn't my point.

[His point was that he didn't enjoy it all, but you do what you gotta do. It's better that he doesn't have to get into it anymore than that, though. He doesn't want to, and he knows he's already fucking lucky that Tomura isn't pissed or something. He's gotten him riled up enough for tonight.

Dabi relaxes once again, his finger back to moving along the ther man's jaw as he steps closer and closer. ]

Yeah.

[He confirms, then leans in and presses his lips against those much cooler, chapped ones. Dabi likes the feeling, kissing and nudging at his lips with his tongue, wanting Tomura to let him in deeper.]

[ Now that Dabi's leveled with him, told him something, Tomura feels calmer. Funny how not getting deflected with insults can improve his mood, but at least he can relax just as quickly as he gets riled up.

The tension slowly eases out of him as his eyes slide shut and he tilts his head into the kiss. He's grown to like this, honestly—Dabi's warm, steady frame pressed against him, the heat of his mouth and scarred skin. Tomura opens up to him, parting his lips with a quiet, pleased hum. ]

[ Dabi has yet to learn that, and it'll probably be a long time till he does. Telling anyone anything is something he's worked so hard on not doing. Giving away any pieces of himself feels too much. Too dangerous. It doesn't feel as dangerous now, though.

Maybe that's the most dangerous part of all.

He can't help but smile into the kiss when Tomura kisses him back. At the parted lips, Dabi's tongue sweeps into his mouth, letting out a soft hum of his own. It's not as demanding as their first kiss, but maybe it's still a little possessive. Dabi doesn't think he likes the idea of Tomura with anyone else. ]

[ He feels the smile against his lips, and he's... unbothered by it. He supposes it's good to know that Dabi isn't hung up anymore, either about Tomura's own barbed words or what they had just been talking about. With that known, he lets himself be drawn into the kiss, sinking into it much more easily now that he knows what to expect—though Dabi is still surprisingly demanding this time around.

There's an undercurrent of heat to the kiss that makes Tomura respond in kind, brushing his tongue against Dabi's with slightly more finesse than before. He's aware of a sense of want creeping into his gut, building the deeper Dabi presses in, and he tries to quell it by finally breaking away, taking a deep breath. ]

[ The good thing about Dabi is that he doesn't get hung up all that easily. Not when it comes to certain things- like Tomura. When it comes to heroes it's a whole different story, but in these moments he's hardly thinking about that. He doesn't want to think about the other shit they talked about either. It's settled now, as far as he's concerned.

It's always good when Tomura kisses him back in the kinda way that says he actually wants him. For a while there Dabi was unsure, but now he has a lot more to go on. The kisses are better this time around as well- not that they were bad before, but Tomura is a fast learner, and Dabi appreciates that in a way he'd probably never say out loud.

When Tomura pulls away, Dabi makes sure to still keep him close. ]
