I couldn't tell you why, but it doesn't take much.

I'm not his bff or anything, but I get the impression he's the kinda guy who never got challenged enough and decided he was the center of the world.

He just also has the talent and will to damn near back it up.

[ Center of the world? Like the iron core? His brows pinch in. That doesn't make sense. But he can understand the thought process of someone strong who was never challenged. He was challenged by his father most of his life, so it took him a while to realize he was actually strong for his age.

Not as long as he keeps learning the way he has. I mean, I'd almost say we're friends at this point, you know? Just gotta keep that ego under control.

[ He nods. He's taken to ignoring half the things he says by now. ]

You're friends with most people in Class A, right?

[ He's been paying attention to those things these days. It was a wonder what a good beat down could do for own's soul. ]

More or less? And he's kinda just funny once you get used to him.

I never really thought of him as a comedian but he did seem to enjoy himself impersonating Camie's illusionary trick during one of our supplemental classes.

More like unintentionally funny. Although he's smart enough to do it on purpose if he tries.

Like a stand up comic.

It's very hard to deliver lines that people can laugh at.

[ Maybe that's what he was missing when he tried to make the grade school kids happy. Maybe he should work on his delivery too. ]
