Nothing says Halloween like making yourself sick to your stomach - but whether that's with cold creeping dread, the reek of blood and guts, or just too many mini Snickers bars depends on the individual.

For that reason, we invite you to pick your own poison:

1. Post a top-level comment with your character and a seasonal prompt to suit them. This can be a quote, a word, an image (please link all NSFW or likely triggers), a scenario, a song, or anything else you can think of - as long as it's Halloweeny!

It is if we want to blend in, and from what I understand going without a proper costume would be an insult to the hosts. Or at least to the person who secured the invites for me.

And while I try to find my witness you might even have fun. I’ve been told that a ‘Spooky Buffet’ is being provided.

[Watts was more than a little excited about this investigation, it was undercover at a Halloween party. Halloween parties either meant good food or copious amounts of sweets. Plus it was a fun excuse to dress up, and he’d had some help to work out a decent ‘disguise’ in the spirit of the event.

Given that his backup had an emergency and needed to cancel, he didn’t see why the second invite should go to waste. It wasn’t dangerous, and there would be other people in-the-know there as it was.

Sure, the constable and his wife who had secured their invitations weren’t the most reliable sorts of people, but it still counted for something.

So he’s spent a few minutes texting in an attempt to tempt her to join in on the event.]

[ The crowds in Harajuku continue to grow thicker and thicker, and Sasuke's having trouble getting to the train station among other things.

Standing off in an alley, he fiddles with a stylized purple toga and sash sitting on his hips. Both were made from old bed sheets from a second hand store. His hair is pulled back in a small ponytail. The costume idea came from a movie night on the couch with Yukimura. Yukimura was very adamant that their matching costumes (Yukimura also had an altered bed sheet toga) were the Disney versions of Hercules and Megara, the ones who got a happy ending and no death like what actually happened in the myths. Sasuke didn't complain. It was a fun movie, and the main characters felt very familiar. Somehow.

Harajuku offered special discounts to anyone wearing a Halloween costume as part of some anime tie in, and that had been fine until a fight broke out and made mess. Sasuke abandoned all hopes of shopping. He really just wants to go home. Especially now that his body has mysteriously changed into a girl again. Damn it. He would have made his toga smaller if he knew this was how he'd be spending Halloween. ]

Ghostly Angst Option: Hallward stirred in his chair as if he was going to rise. He rushed at him and dug the knife into the great vein that is behind the ear, crushing the man's head down on the table and stabbing again and again.
There was a stifled groan and the horrible sound of some one choking with blood. Three times the outstretched arms shot up convulsively, waving grotesque, stiff-fingered hands in the air. He stabbed him twice more, but the man did not move. He chuckles a little lacing his fingers through Matt's as they move up to the will call ticket window. This place had good ratings online and he'd talked with Steve and Bucky who went through. (Steve was surprised Bucky didn't punch anyone in the face, jokingly.)

There is screaming and laughing coming from the house, and Clint grins at Matt a little, as they finally move up to get there tickets, "Uhhh two tickets for 7 pm, should be under Barton."

Jonathan can't help the quiet body shake of a laugh because he expected this to happen. Holly had picked out a horror film that she'd been eyeing for awhile now and after some convincing, he allowed her to watch it; she was far too young for it but one has to learn the hard way sometimes.

They converted the living room into a massive pillow fort, taking all the cushions, blankets and pillows from all over the estate. Maybe a few fairy lights here and there and a mountain of snacks; really it was quite the fort. Quite possibly their best build yet in his opinion and he honestly doesn't want to tear it down later.

He had been watching Holly's reaction for the jump scares and slow creeping build up, one jump scare already got him because he totally forgot it existed seeing as its been so long since he's seen this one. Nearly spilling popcorn everywhere in the process.

[1) Take Candy from Partiers: Ray's taken it upon himself to have a little fun by transforming into his dragon state and playfully trying to filch candy from party goers, as the world's strangest Untitled Goose dragon. He'll immediately give candy back if others fuss, or he makes someone genuinely unhappy. How is he filching candy with his t-rex forearms and bulky body? Who knows?

[2) Party~: Ray is not up to mischief and is just being himself. As himself. Dressed as a priest. Which is to say, his usual clothes that only make him look like a Jojo. Seriously, just look at the illustration in his wiki!) He might be helping himself to some punch (spiked or not) and just lounging around and enjoying others' enjoyment like a wallflower. He'll talk to anyone who approaches him, though. Or maybe he bumps into your character somewhere along the way?

Emperor Edelgard asked to deal with a monster problem in one of the main cities in the Empire. Upon arrival witness accounts say it's a feral beast that's become too strong and clever for the locals, but in truth there's something more to the problem than what's on the surface

2: Hresvelg means Corpse Swallower
Crest experimentation creates Vampires. Having more than one Crest puts strain on the body. The unwelcome blood added to your system changes things. Not only does color disappear from the hair and eyes, but one becomes sensitive to light and turns into a... picky eater.

The type of prompt I'd make for Vampire Edelgard would be tailored to whatever character is involved, so just let me know if you're interested in this one and I'll create a starter for you. Or PM me and we can figure something out beforehand. (examples: Vampire vs Werewolf encounter, Hunter vs Vampire, Vampire + blood bag human, Vampire + political hostage human, etc)

3: Searching for Ghosts
Edelgard goes searching the land to find her mother Patricia now that things have settled down. However along the way she needs to find rest at an abandoned mansion. Unlucky for her the mansion allows ghosts to manifest. Did she kill your character in the war, and now they're here to haunt her?

OR your character for some reason ends up in this mansion, and you were the one to kill Edelgard. She's here to haunt you.
