what's love got to do with it

You're not together. But you need to make people think you are. Because of reasons.
Maybe you secretly can't stand each other. Maybe you like each other, just not like that. (Or do you?) Maybe this is the only way you'll ever get to be with your crush. Maybe you just need to give off that couple vibe in public, or maybe you're going to be forced to engage in some hot'n'heavy fakeout makeouts. For reasons, okay?
You know the drill. Post, tag, profit.
- Home For The Holidays ⇢ You need to prove to your parents that you do so have a significant other. Just until they're gone.
- No Singles Need Apply ⇢ The place is perfect, but the landlady will only rent it to a nice, respectable couple.
- It's Not Safe For A Woman Alone ⇢ One of you is vulnerable in this big, bad world without a partner to protect you.
- Public Relations ⇢ There's only one way to stop these pesky rumors: start your own.
- Undercover Mission ⇢ They'll never suspect a couple of lovey-dovey honeymooners of... whatever it is you're actually up to.
- Marriage Of Convenience ⇢ It's good for both your families. Or your finances. Or your hetero street cred. Whatever: might as well make the best of it.
- Well That Escalated Quickly ⇢ It's common knowledge that you're together, except you're the last to know. Is it worth correcting people?
- Free Space ⇢ Bring your own
bottlescenario.

That much was absolutely true, Harry was an expert at entertaining himself, even if it was via catching up on some sleep. His smile spread, "And I learned a long time ago," once again acting as if they'd been together more than just off and on, "that the best answer to what I'd like to eat is whatever you think I should have."

Letting his hand return to its position on the table before he'd lifted it, he hummed while tapping his other hand's fingers against his temple. "At the very least, you should let me know what sort of food you're in the mood for. What kind of meat, maybe? Or if you want a vegetarian dish? A little something to work with will help me."
no subject
A thoughtful sound followed, as if actually having to think over what he might like to eat that wasn't the cake he was still taking small forkfuls of, "Meat definitely, probably beef since I haven't been getting enough of that, at least not the good stuff."
no subject
"Want to get out of here? I'm just about finished for the day and you look like you need a good meal." He definitely wasn't feeling like he could stay at work any longer with the way their conversation went; all he really wanted to do was get out of here and get back home with him.

It wasn't a problem if he did, if anything it would be entertaining because they didn't often go anywhere that wasn't an intentional chance to show off, like going to dinner was. Even if he didn't, that was fine too, because that meant more time together uninterrupted, which was the ideal.

Smiling over at Harry as they made their way back to his apartment, he bumped one of his elbows against the courier's. "Sir. Are you calling me deviant?"
no subject
He was actually surprisingly vanilla in bed, though not because he didn't know anything else, but because he liked taking his time and enjoying simple pleasures.

"Sometimes I feel like you're making love to me rather than having sex." Pushing his glasses up his nose while looking over the rims at Harry, he grinned.

A little one-shouldered shrug followed, watching the other man's reaction out of the corner of his eye as he said: "Could always try mixing things up a little."
no subject
"Ah, nevermind." Looking back over at Harry, he smiled bright with his eyes closing from the effort of it. "I'm always up for trying something new." By now, they'd arrived at the towering building that housed his meager apartment and he untangled himself from the other man long enough to punch in the door code to enter the building; holding the door, he waited for Harry to enter first.

But he wasn't wired that way, and he'd get bored after a week or two, that and if word got out he'd be putting Seunwoo in danger and not just himself. He did, however, flash a smile a moment later, "What do you think the chances are that I can distract you before dinner prep gets too far along?"
no subject
"I'd say pretty high, knowing you," he said, pressing the button to summon the elevator down to their level. "Anyway, you just ate so you shouldn't engage in any strenuous activity. You'll get a cramp." The sentence was punctuated with perfect timing by the arrival chime of the conveyance and he stepped in with a little laugh, pressing the button for his floor.
no subject
An utterly nonchalant shrug followed, "But if you'd rather I didn't risk it, I guess I can find something else to do." The tease in the tone was obvious, but at the same time, if the other man was serious about not getting distracted, Harry would honor the request.

"The question is are you hungry for food first or something else," teased the chef as they stepped out into the small hallway that led to his flat; punching in the code he opened the door and stepped inside, slipping his shoes off inside the meager foyer. The apartment was a simple one room sort of arrangement: one step leading up from the foyer into the living area where a small table and two plush chairs had been set, the small kitchenette with no dining table but a pair of stools seated at the counter, and two steps up to where his lime green bed with its fairy lights and wispy translucent curtains sat. All along the way were closets with expensive-looking clothing hanging on the door handles, and alongside the kitchen was the singular wet room that served as his shower, bathroom, and place for the washing machine.
"It's not much," he said, looking at his small quarters. "But it's home."
no subject
That smile tilted as he caught at Seunwoo's hip to draw him closer, "Company's definitely better, too." Which probably answered the question as to just what it was he was hungry for without his actually having to say so.
no subject
"Alright, come on then," said the dark-haired siren, stepping up even though he was walking backwards at the step that lead up to his bed; he continued to work at his top until it was loose and hanging from his shoulders and revealing his white undershirt.

One hand settled comfortably at Seunwoo's hip again, keeping him close in turn and he shifted his weight, turning to sit more comfortably, just bracketing the other man's waist with both hands, giving a tug to draw Seunwoo up and across his lap so that neither of them had to turn half-sideways to continue the kiss.
no subject
As their legs slid across one another - Seunwoo making a muffled sound into their kiss as their bodies met along their waists - he tugged tightly on Harry's hair, furiously suckling the dark man's tongue right out of his mouth and into his own.
no subject
Though as he deepened the kiss, Harry retaliated by rolling against the comfortable weight of the other man against him before just flopping backwards onto the bed, one hand sliding from Seunwoo's hip, skimming up his spine to keep the proximity between them and draw the other man down with him.
