Your character/s may or may not have a sweet tooth, but for some strange reason, they feel the need to have some dessert. Just when they were fantasizing of sumptuous treats to sooothe their appetites . . . voilà! Something delicious appears right in front of them! It's the dessert of their dreams, whether they know it or not! Your character will have the compulsion to eat it. Maybe they'll question the oddity of events. Maybe they won't. But remember what they say: beware the greeks bearing gifts . . .
How this meme works:
• Your character is presented a dessert which they will feel the strong urge to eat. They may feel dubious about the convenience by which the dessert they wanted appeared in front of them, but by hook or by crook, they'll end up eating it anyway.
• Post with your character's name, their canon, and their preferred partners (or your preferred partners for them). For example: Edward Cullen | Twilight Saga | Bella Swan-sexual. Another example would be Sam Witwicky | Bayverse!Transformers | Heterosexual. You know the drill. :)
• Find someone else's post, pick a dessert*, and comment!
*You can either pick a dessert and a corresponding scenario from the ones listed below, or you can head on down to random.org and generate a number between 1 and 12. Feel free to mix and match as well. :)
• Enact the scenario! You can start the thread with them discovering the dessert and eating it, or you can fastforward to after they've eaten it and are starting to feel the effects. Be creative!
• Be open! If you're uncomfortable with something, don't hesitate to mention it and try to work it out with the person you're tagging. In the same vein, if you're loving it, go ahead and say so. :)

[It seems silly when he thinks about it, but he'd always kind of tacitly assumed Chitanda didn't get like that.]

Meanwhile, the movie drones on in the background. Something about fireflies? He isn't paying attention... at all.]

[He has no idea what to do now.
All he can think is: Satoshi and Ibara must never know.]
Is that why... you wanted to try holding my hand earlier? [He should just drop it and go on with the movie, but he can't. Try as he might, he can't. There's something about being distinctly horny that makes you focus on the beautiful girl next to you, and the idea that she might be horny too -- funny how that works.]

Oh! [Should she laugh at that? What should she do? Clearly, she should pop another strawberry in her mouth so she could just react internally. And that's what she does, instead.

Before he can finish eating the strawberry, the sound of a loud explosion from the television forces the movie back into his perception, and he ends up pretending to pay attention to that, even though his mind is still with Chitanda. Maybe it won't be obvious how much this entire situation has him rattled if it looks like he's watching the TV.
But... clearly, he's still thinking about Chitanda. Without looking, he seeks out her hand with his and kind of... nudges it a bit.
Like maybe it wants to be held, but maybe it is just nudging around down there for no reason at all, and it's just a coincidence that her hand happened to be right there too.]

She watches Oreki pretend to watch tv, in hopes of getting something out of him. What, though, she wasn't exactly sure. If she explained herself, then Oreki should. . . do the same, right? Then again, what would he even have to explain?
But when her hand gets nudged, she loses her train of thought and focuses on what to do in present time. That was another accident, wasn't it? It's strange to get worked up over something that might have been an accident or not— and it's been happening for a while now, too. This isn't the first time today.
She responds with a nudge of her own. Whether that was the right answer or a good enough one, Chitanda wasn't sure.]

This is hard.
Does he want to have more physical contact with Chitanda right now? Yes, he does. Badly. But he still doesn't have a feel for her boundaries, and he still knows that giving in to this and going too far would be a bad idea (at the very least, pretty contrary to his life philosophy).
But holding hands again couldn't possibly hurt, could it? What's the worst that could happen?
With another moment of hesitation, all the while pretending not to be paying the rapt attention that he is paying, Oreki scoops Chitanda's hand up in his and holds it.
