It's a splendid night for a party!

You received an invitation to a masquerade party and after wondering who exactly throws these things anymore outside of people in Italy and the strange people in that Vanilla Sky movie, you've decided to attend! Decked out in your best (or maybe not so best - it may have been last minute, after all), you descend on the party and prepare to make it a night to remember.

Is it your friend's annual Halloween party with a twist? Perhaps you're an international spy, trying to find out the best way to steal the Crown Jewels. Maybe this is part of Spirit Week at your high school and you really wish that your classmates would be more creative next time.

Elaborate Venetian, playful animals, dazzling supernatural creatures - the night is young. Have fun.

This is not a RNG meme. Your characters' role and situation is entirely up to you. "But how do you play?" you might ask. It's as simple as 1, 2, 3!

1.) Post with your character. In the subject line, type of your character's name and canon. If you'd like, in the comment section, you can describe what mask/costume your character is wearing.
2.) Tag around! This is a party after all, and your character can't find any of their usual crew behind their masks (or maybe they can and need to tease them mercilessly for their choice of costume).
3.) Profit!

[This was something that happen every generation and she had been lucky and chosen as a candidate.]

[ Seriously what. ]

This is a gala! A grand event! I'm going to totally rob everyone blind and make it the talk of the season... and you're not going to be queen.

You might make a pitiable hostage, though...

[She was used to being doubted by the adults to succeed in the competition. Not that she let that get to her.]

I would kick your ass before you could use me as a hostage.

[Feminize and charms was not her strong points. If this man wanted to try anything she wasn't going to hesitate to use magic.]

Could you really? You seen so dainty! Tiny chocolate-named girl and all.

[ He's a condescending prick, but ...well, she is little. ]

I have been riding a gigantic spider that could have killed me without any effort.

[She was still alive. She had came out that fight without a scratch.]

OH yeah? I have a speeiderbot! [ GIANT ROBOT SPIDERS! ] and what do you say to that, huh? It has lasers.

I say what is a speeiderbot and laser?

[She could not feel impressed by something she didn't knew what it was.]

A spieeiderbot is a rahbotic speeider! Made of metal, very terrifying! As for a laser...

[ He sweeps his fancy, brocaded jacket back and draws his-- and aims at a table loaded with drinks and sweets, before he pulls the trigger. A pale teal light lances forward, barely visible, and then the table is reduced to a tiny, glowing cube. ]

[Those metal spiders sounded like fun. Danger and fun was the same thing to her.]

Well that laser thing looks cool. [A big grin spreed on her lips.] I wanna try it.

What? [ Megamind is taken aback. Try it? SHe was supposed to be terrified! ] I think not! My DE-Gun is not a toy!

[He had to try better to do that. She wasn't one of those cutesy fluffy girls.]

It can totally hurt people if you put it on the right setting! I'm not letting you play with any of my gear! It's much too awesome for the likes of you!

Party pooper.

[Yes that made him into a party pooper. Not that he talk about using her as a hostage.]

Just because I won't let a small grubby child play with my DE-Gun does not make me a party-pooper. In fact, I am the veritable life of the party! Especially once the show begins!

Your things are cool. Is it strange that I want to try them then?

[She shot him an angry glare. She was debating on just taking that thing anyway.]

[ It was going back in it's holster, with the strap securing it back on it a moment later. ]

My things are totally cool and that's why everybody likes them. But they are my things, I made them, and you can't have them.

I did not think that someone could be cool and boring at the same time.

[He was blue, had cool stuffs, but didn't even let her try them.]

I'm not boring at all! I just won't let your grubby little fingers touch my goods!
