From Completely Different Worlds The two of you couldn't have, shouldn't have, crossed paths under any other circumstances. You're from two completely differing spheres: separated by class, by continent, by occupation, by age, by anything. You could both be from different worlds...literally! But distance means nothing now, because you've been tossed quite unceremoniously into each others' lives by some unusual event. Now, you must work together; soon, though, you realize you both have another common interest - each other. Fire-forged attraction is some of the strongest across all worlds, after all, and the sparks are flying. Is it possible that the pair of you will realize your feelings for each other, or is the task at hand much more important? Will the ways in which you differ keep you apart, especially if one of you is a stranger in a strange land or time? Are you even really compatible? Sudden closeness and having to rely on someone can confuse feelings. But this guy was looking way too much like Rip Hunter for her comfort levels so she decided to play it cool for now,"Could be nothing, could be simple recon duty, could just be a look alike." she reminded herself.

Rory, for all his frequent apparent bumbling was a lot more observant than many gave him credit for. Which meant he was aware he was being watched; bumbling aimlessly and then wandering into a dark alley was entirely deliberate even if he looked like the perfect mark.

Thea swallowed hard since she made a decision, she had to be sure that this guy was not Rip since she was still on leave. So she slung her backpack and gear over one shoulder and wandered over, looking like a simple tourist heading for the nearby chip van to the untrained eye. But she was still double taking Rory, how to be sure?

Also, her world is at war and even among her people there's a faction trying to assassinate the royalty. There are plenty of opportunities for Stephen to help out OR for her to seek out his help. She's originally a New Yorker, as well, so she could stumble upon the sanctum somehow. ]

[Hi! I'm intrigued by your character and I think that he and Mary might get along based on the fact that she too is very loyal to her family and fits the description of a strong person who will call out his shit.

I have a modern AU version of her where she's a financial executive for a firm with her primary clients being several fashion houses in London. She's based primarily in London, but there's reason to believe that she would probably spend a great amount of time in New York where she could have met him, perhaps at a gallery opening or something. We could just do a meeting thread and then see where it goes from there? Or she could have somehow gotten involved in the "business" end of his work and now that she sees what it is, she's unsure of what she's going to do or if she's going to be able to get out of it. And of course she kind of likes him too.
