4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.

1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.

WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

[He was the first one to reach the spot the green lion crashed. And it tore him inside that he couldn't respond sooner. You didn't leave an enemy still flying though, not when they could cause even more harm if you attempted a rescue with them still in the air and so, on what was supposed to be a routine scout mission with just the two of them, Shiro had needed to finish off the enemy fliers before he'd been able to put down next to the unmoving green lion. He was out of Black in a second, feet pounded across the short distance between his lion and the green one, heart tighter in his chest than the fight or the short run merited.

He'd lost Pidge's family because he couldn't keep them safe. He wasn't going to lose Pidge too.

There was an emergency hatch into the lion and it still recognized his signal. It was a good sign even if it shook his hopes that the reason Pidge wasn't responding to his calls over the comm was because the communications were down. It was a tight squeeze in armor but he dropped down into the sideways entrance and worked his way to the cockpit.]

Pidge? Answer me. Are you hurt? Pidge?

[ After the business with Black Jack Randall, they reassign Jamie. It's all for naught, as Jamie could have told them, but someone on high reasons his chances of survival are better if he's on the other end of the country. Burying him in another precinct with a new partner is the best solution anyone's come up with, much to Jamie's dismay.

Of course, he's followed by a slow migration of Scots, so maybe this isn't quite the brilliant plan the brass thought it would be.

But at the end of the day, he's still got a job to do. Black Jack's reach is long, but those groping fingers haven't managed to root Jamie out. Jamie's free to work cases in relative safety. Or so he thought, right up until a bullet lays Holder flat as they pry into a missing persons case. ]

It's not so bad, [ Jamie tells him through gritted teeth. ] I cannae recall anyone dying from a shot up in the meat of their shoulder.

[ Meant to be comforting, though Holder's bleeding and they're pinned down for the moment, trapped behind the cheap plaster walls of this apartment. There's a woman crying in the next room. Not ideal. ]
