You or your meme partner has been hurt, but don't worry! This time around it's not that bad. You can still limp your way out of this mess.

INJURIES.
1. Sprain/strain. How did you screw up walking?
2. Broken bones. Simple fractures still hurt.
3. Cuts. Hopefully one of you has a sewing kit.
4. Burns. Location, location, location. Let's pray this one isn't on your ass.
5. Concussion. No, they're most likely not holding up fifteen fingers.
6. Other. I'm not a doctor.

HOW'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Stupidity. You did this to yourself.
2. Accident. Is an unintentional attack still an attack?
3. Attack. Don't lie, you deserved it.
4. Other. It's probably still your own fault.

WHERE'D IT HAPPEN.
1. Home. Did you remember to invest in a first aid kit?
2. School/Work. This should be excellent for getting you out of doing stuff!
3. Outdoors. Predators like the smell of blood. Clean up asap.
4. In the water. Hopefully there aren't any sharks!
5. Other. Like a hospital. That'd be handy.

Charles knew how difficult it would be for someone who looked this different to go to a normal school.

However...at the mansion, he would be among his peers.

"I teach at a school for gifted students." A beat. "A school for mutants. Like you and me."

The only sort of education he'd actually gotten was from his adoptive family and while it was good enough, Kurt could hardly imagine the difference an actual school would make.

And being around other people like him? He was completely sold by that idea.

"Like us?" he asks, thinking the idea over and grinning exuberantly. "That's amazing! How many other students are there? What sort of powers do they have? Will I--" Kurt hesitates, brow furrowing, his smile faltering. "... will I fit in?"

"There are a number of students already, teachers too...you will be able to board with us so long as you help out around the school." Mansion was more like it.

He smiles at that. "That will be up to you, Kurt. I think you'll find many of them are worried about the same thing." Just like regular school.

Charles gives him the address telepathically, they do have to remain a secret school as much as possible. "Classes will be starting in the fall. But if you would like to come early and see the place....?"

"I'll be living there?" He crouches down on the beam, one hand gripping between his feet and the other raising to his chin in thought. Whatever he could help with, he'd be more than willing to do so.

Kurt smirks in return, head bobbing in understanding. "I'm sure many of the students don't possess the same ... appearance as I do though."

Tucking the address into the back of his mind, he draws himself back up a bit, hands moving to grip his knees. "I'd be absolutely thrilled to get to see the school! It might even help if I know exactly where I'll be staying."

"No, not many...some are downright strange," he deadpans with a smile. He angles the chair as if to go. "Anytime you're free, the door is open." He can leave instructions with Hank to let the man in. Beast would probably take to Kurt well, brothers in blue and all that.

Confusion filters across his features before the comment clicks and he flashes a fang-filled grin, head shaking with a snicker. "I'll have to see if I can make time. Sooner, rather than later, ja?" He knows they're in town for a short amount of time, but if he can convince everyone that he wants to stay, to go to the school, he won't have to leave.

"Indeed." He would hate for Kurt to lose his chance at having an education.

He adds as an afterthought, "If you need me to talk to your folks, I can." Talking to parents wasn't his favorite thing to do, but he would be willing to do it.

That suggestion has his eyes widening yet again, bottom lip tucking between his teeth while he ponders the idea. What would his family say? Would they let him stay? Well, there couldn't be any harm in trying.

"You wouldn't necessarily need to talk to them, but if you would like to ..." He saw no reason to keep Charles from doing so. Besides, it would be a better idea for them to actually see that Kurt was telling the truth about going to school by introducing a teacher from said place to them.

He nods understandingly. "Bring them with you. Perhaps if they see the school first hand, they'll be more receptive to you coming."

Oh, he hadn't even thought of taking his family to see the school. That was probably a better plan. "That's a wunderbar idea, Professor. I'll do my best to convince them to come along."
