Master, some people just aren't going to understand. No matter how many times you speak to them, they've already got their opinions formed.

I know, but I don't like it that his friends hate me--even though I made them hate me in the first place. So I'm going to try.

You can try. I doubt he'll stop you from doing that. [Though he could see Jack trying to kill him on sight.]

*Trying, maybe. Not succeeding, though. Not with this Master, who is as much an energy being as a 'normal' person.*

Back to the movie. [The movie was the easier of the two to handle.]

The stream I watch is playing The Sound of Drums right now :P

[He turns the movie back on, sitting back in his seat and trying his best to watch it.]

*He watches happily, laughing at the gore and the screaming like it's a light comedy.*

Damn, now I really want to make my own. Mine would be so much better, it's like the difference between reading a bad romance novel and having great sex.

. . . that may have been a bad comparison, admittedly, but the feelings are about the same.

Yeaaah... []He'll just have to agree with you on that.

After a particularly gruesome scene, he leaves his seat to wander into the kitchen. A nice break from the movie.]

You happen to have any nibbles, do you? [He looks through the cabinets.] Could use some right 'bout now.

None you'd ever be willing to eat, but I can go get you something. What would you like?

[He closes the refrigerator door. Well, so much for that.]

I can step out quick and grab something down at the corner shop. You watch your movie and I'll be back in a tick.

[He goes for the front door.]

Alright, then, you do that. I'd have probably eaten half of it by the time I got back anyway.

[Waving to the Master, he goes out the door and downstairs to the lobby.

It's about twenty minutes later when he returns with some food for the two of them. He hadn't ended up going to the corner store afterall, but to a chippie.]

I'm back! [He called out when he returned, setting the two containers of chips down on the table.]

Oh good, I'm glad to hear it.

[handymetacrisis]

[He flops down in his chair after tossing out the bag and grabs his container.]

How much movie you got left?

Oh, another half hour maybe. Why?

[handymetacrisis]

Just asking. [He was hoping to miss the rest of the movie. Oh well. He'll eat his chips and wait for it to be finished.]

By the way, it's my birthday in 3-4 hours :D

[He's relieved when the movie ends. This was a good revenge for making the Master watch Jaws III with him.]

That's alright. We could go outside for a walk. Explore the town, get into some trouble. Find an alien threat or two. Well, not the last one. Too much paperwork and stuff afterward. So no alien threat but some good old fashioned trouble!
