[Grell takes the flag, actually shocked that he got it. He stares at it, then begins to dress the doll, wrapping it around her shoulders, trying to work it into her outfit. It's a huge improvement over the construction paper, so Grell seems very happy.

He's not intentionally ignoring the other boy, he's just transfixed by his new acquisition.]

Where did you get the tape?

[But this he knows how to do.]

Ah? Oh... you want the markers and the tape... I don't know where they are now. The marker was by the slide. There was a table on the other side. Some kids were doing crafts, but they wouldn't let me join. So I took the tape and found the marker. But then they wanted it back so they chased me. I dropped them...

Comeon. They have more than one red marker. I'll show you.

[He reaches over and grabs Grell's arm to pull. He's not being rough, just enthusiastic.]

[Grell yelps as his arm is grabbed, and begins to cry.]

NO NO LET ME GO!

[maxnetic]

[That startles him enough that he lets go of Grell's arm, but almost immediately puts his arm around Grell's shoulders, comforting.]

Hey. Hey. I'm not going to hurt you. Don't cry.

Ah! I'm not crying let me go I'm not crying... [But he is. He shoves the other boy off of him, but it's not violent. He actually looks frightened.]

Shhh, shhh. It's ok.

[He's been bullied enough to know how to be gentle. He lets Grell push him away but he stays close.]

Breath deep, you'll get hiccups.

I'm n-not going to get hiccoughs and I'm n-not c-crying!

Okay, okay just breathe, okay?

[Shesh.]
