Oops. It happens to all of us. In a hurry, kind of drunk, too tired – for whatever reason, you've sent a text to the wrong recipient and it's up to you to do damage control.

1. talk dirty | "baby, you were such a stud yesterday"
Texting is a great way to make your partner spend the rest of their meeting thinking about exactly how steamy action was last night... Unless you sent it to the wrong number, of course. How to explain that one?

2. those dates | "Don't forget lunch at 2! :-)"
Easiest way to arrange meetings, confirming them or just saying thanks for a good time is by cell. Even easier? To screw it up when the invitation reaches the wrong person... Or perhaps your mishap lands you an entirely new date!

3. anger management | "OMFG, you really are an asshole!"
They’ve pissed you off royally, so someone deserves a piece of your mind. Poor recipient, having to put up with a dressing-down of that magnitude. Especially if it wasn't actually intended for them.

4. my condolences | "Jane, I'm so sorry about your aunt."
Someone lost a relative, got broken up with or didn't get the grades they'd hoped for, so you quickly text them your heartfelt sympathy. Let's just hope that the recipient actually has lost their aunt...

5. well done | "I heard about it from my mom. You go, girl!"
They aced their exams, just got published or they had a baby. Something definitely deserving of your congratulations. Hopefully the one receiving it will appreciate the recognition of something they probably didn't do.

6. auto correct | "Dad says we're having pussy tonight."
A completely ordinary message. The concert was amazing, you're running late... Autocorrect just happened to change one little word into something completely different. Something that’s even more difficult to decipher for the wrong recipient.

7. wildcard | "ok"

Times are changing, Dorian. And the entirety of the south does not, in fact, hate you. Some of it is quite fond of you.

Fear has little bearing on reality. I've not had anything worth losing in, well, perhaps ever. If it makes me unnecessarily wary, I apologize.

[underthings]

No, perhaps not the entirety, but enough. Though, in all fairness, I never set out to change the collective opinion of the south. That I did any was a surprise.

Nothing to apologize for. At least, not yet. Worry all you'd like, I'll only interfere if you become overbearing or think me unable. Otherwise, I take no true issue.

[officer]

We've few examples of Tevinter mages to draw upon when forming our opinions. Did you truly believe that, after meeting you, we could continue to hold to our worst assumptions?

I cannot imagine you unable to do anything.

[underthings]

You did hear the rumors about me while in Haven and after arriving in Skyhold, yes? Even you gave no warm reception when I arrived. So, yes, I can truly believe that after meeting me—magnificent as I am—assumptions won't change.

That's more like it. Eager to be in my good graces upon my return?

[officer]

I meant meeting you in the sense of getting to know you. It took more than a handsome face for me to set aside my suspicions, it's true, but what it required was spending time with you. It's who you are that changes minds, not, I'm sorry to say, how you look.

I'm just being honest.

[underthings]

Well, then I can pose the question who's taken the time to get to know me. I won't, but I could. And I take offense to that, it's at least a little how I look!

[officer]

Perhaps it's time to change that.

As stunning as you are, my darling, who you are is infinitely more appealing than how you look.

[underthings]

Unnecessary at this point. Those who get to know me from this point forward won't like me for what I'm doing, at least.

The things you say. I hope you're planning to clear your schedule later.

[officer]

You are doing good work. Never doubt that.

They are things that should have been said to you so many times you tire of hearing them. When you return, my time is yours. The blasted world can implode for all I care.

I tend not to doubt myself. I didn't get to be where I am today if I let that slow me down.

Well, let's hope it doesn't, yes? I'd rather take my time with you tonight and would care to not be interrupted.

I should hope not. You would do so without cause if you did.

Shall I write up a sign to post on the door, telling passersby that I'm not to be disturbed for any reason? It might be more effective than simply locking the doors.

Perhaps so. I'll enchant the doors as well.

[officer]

That sounds like an excellent idea.

[underthings]

I do wish it was later.

It was just a theory. I still don't have that sort of power.

Due to Corypheus. Not exactly how I wanted to see my own theories presented, honestly.

Traveling through time was due to Corypheus or the fact that it took this long for you to see your theory come to life? Give yourself more credit than this, Dorian.

I would think you to know I always give myself proper credit. The theory Alexius and I developed requires more magic than a single mage can do. Corypheus was the one who gave Alexius that to power the amulet.

[officer]

He may have become a darkspawn, but Corypheus was first a mage of Tevinter. A man, not a would-be god. To me, that suggests that such limitations are not absolute.

[underthings]

And he had whatever that orb was. Which I suspect we'll never know since it's broken and mysteriously gone as Solas is. I've no doubt it could be a reality again one day, though I'm under the impression it possibly shouldn't be.

[officer]

No, likely not. Most people would do more harm than good with that sort of power. But the fact remains that I'll not hear you speak of yourself as though you are somehow inadequate in comparison to others. You're a brilliant, remarkable man with power I've not seen in other mages. I cannot believe there is anything you would be unable to accomplish if you put your mind to achieving it.

Yes, and part of being all those amazing things is knowing my limitations and capabilities. I've no doubt I'll have a hand in creating many new forms of magic, but my area of study and interest has shifted elsewhere.

[ If there was any question about Cullen getting lucky tonight... there isn't now. This is one way to getting spoiled tbh ]

And in those areas, I've no doubt you will become the authority for future generations to heed. That is my point and I'll accept no argument to the contrary.
