[She pressed a finger over his lips, then followed it with hers, giving him a soft kiss.]

Don't jinx it. We still have days to spend here. We still have time to enjoy with each other. I promise that nothing that happens tonight can ruin this.

[Because she wouldn't let it. She was happier with him than she'd been in a very long time. She was greedy and selfish enough to want to keep that feeling.]

Kara stared up at him and the light in her eyes had nothing to do with her heat vision and everything to do with the fact that Steve just kept surprising her, leaving her amazed and aroused all at once. How did he do that.]

I think... if this goes as well as I hope it does, that maybe... maybe we can schedule this in as a good place to go for special occasions. [There was a gasp. A full-body shiver. And then, just before he finished, she flipped them over and settled herself on top of him, astride him, pinning him. Of course, if he wanted free, she wouldn't hold him down, but for the moment?

[Lying on his back like this, that gave him two free hands to put on her. He started them at her thighs (she had nice, strong thighs), then moved them upward. One made a brief little detour to her ass again, feeling the way it curved before he continued upward along her back.
