Is this even a good idea? Why is their backpack leaking suspicious substances? Go wild. 4. WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST HIT? Dude, I hear deer mess up cars... or I think that was a deer. 5. DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS CAR AROUND! Alas, you're the parent or the disgruntled friend who has had it up to here with all the fighting in the back. 6. OMG, I WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS LANDMARK! No, no, and no. You tell that person that they're going to be driven around and they're going to like it. 7. THE GREAT ESCAPE Either dinosaurs or the mothman is chasing you. Don't stop now. 8. MAKE OUT~ You're now parked in one of the make-out points in this town. Did you know? Well, that's up to you, as is what you do next. 9. WE'RE SO LOST The map blew away when you were stupid enough to open the windows earlier. You know that old stereotype about how men never ask for directions but women will? I wouldn't recommend it. She was a lovely lady, from what I could hear over the cats.

Oh my god. [ daichi's still laughing, but he manages to calm himself down enough so the only sounds in the background are the faint play of the radio and the pouring rain against the windows ] Well, I'll try not to be as horrible as that, promise.

Seven?? Is it even legal to have that many cats in a car?

I think so? As long as they're in cages, I suppose. I can only imagine the awful accident that would happen if one got out...

[ don't worry, daichi gives suga a look, one that's full of equal parts worry and dread that suga will somehow right now pull a cat from his pocket that he stole from an old lady and pet it in his lap like a comedic spy movie villain. ]

Are you sure? We might be able to find a petshop open at this hour, a cat would be the least I could do to thank you.

I suppose we could find a lizard perhaps but they're not as cute. A bird maybe?

Oh my god, the first time I ever help a hitchhiker and it's a crazy animal guy. Why. [ except he's laughing as he talks, more like he can't believe his luck over anything else. ]

[Suga gasps in mock shock.] This is your first time? I'm sorry, you should have said and I'd have gone easier on you. [He didn't entirely mean for that to sound like a sex joke, but these things happen, and his expression softens back into a smile.] Don't worry, your car will remain feather and fur free.

[ even though he's laughing, daichi full winces because that joke is terrible even if it is unintended ]

It better, god, I'm never picking up hitchhikers again.

[He's taking the laughter to mean he doesn't have to worry about being put out by the side of the road.]

More like terrified me, I don't want to pick up some crazy person who wants to stop to buy up cats.

Well, what's the chance that there would be two of us around?

So you should keep me around then, to ward off any that think you aren't satisfied with your hitchhiker experience.

I dunno about that, all I know about you is your name and that you like to threaten poor drivers with getting cats. I wouldn't call it a great experience so far.

[Oh, shoot. He really hopes he's joking, the rain is only getting worse so inside is even more appealing than it was before. He thinks Daichi's joking, but there are some strange people who pick up hitchhikers so his certainty is more like eighty percent than a hundred.]
