Is this even a good idea? Why is their backpack leaking suspicious substances? Go wild. 4. WHAT THE FUCK DID I JUST HIT? Dude, I hear deer mess up cars... or I think that was a deer. 5. DON'T MAKE ME TURN THIS CAR AROUND! Alas, you're the parent or the disgruntled friend who has had it up to here with all the fighting in the back. 6. OMG, I WANT TO TAKE A PICTURE OF THIS LANDMARK! No, no, and no. You tell that person that they're going to be driven around and they're going to like it. 7. THE GREAT ESCAPE Either dinosaurs or the mothman is chasing you. Don't stop now. 8. MAKE OUT~ You're now parked in one of the make-out points in this town. Did you know? Well, that's up to you, as is what you do next. 9. WE'RE SO LOST The map blew away when you were stupid enough to open the windows earlier. You know that old stereotype about how men never ask for directions but women will? Time to see if you're going to prove it right or not. Try not to fight over it too much, driving partners. 10. BUT OFFICER... Those flashing lights in your rearview mirror? Definitely not just for decoration. Relationship (optional): 1. BUSINESS PARTNERS: The jet was undergoing some heavy repairs, so you have to drive to that big meeting. 2. I think you think I'm at least a little endearing, Sawamura-san. Maybe the line moved while you weren't looking?

That's a completely baseless accusation, if I were a different person, I'd be offended. [Look at that face, he's not offended at all.]

But you're not a different person. [ well, daichi's not totally sure, sugawara is still a stranger in his car. he could be crazy offended and good at hiding it for all he knows. ] Something tells me you'll be okay.

[Suga laughs.] You're not a bad judge of character, I'm tougher than I look. [He has made it this far hitchhiking across the country, after all.]

But, I think you admitted you think I'm endearing back there.

I admitted nothing of the kind.

[Suga considers.] No... I'm pretty sure you did. You said I'm the type to be endearing while putting my toe over the line, and since that's what I'm doing.

Hm, you know, I must be a horrible judge of character then, because I was definitely wrong about the whole endearing bit. [ lies and slander, but he's gotta try to keep his pride a little in tact here. ]

[Suga sags, it's a calculated gesture mostly, only people who know him very well can pick those apart, but he is a little sad Daichi would deny it, he knows he's a pretty charming person.]

Oh. Well, I think you're endearing.

[ daichi sputters, feeling the back of his neck go traitorously red. he didn't expect that, and squints at suga trying to figure out this particularly tricky human puzzle beside him. ]

I can't tell if you mean it or if you're just trying to make me change my mind.

I think lying to kind people who give me rides would be a terrible idea.

[So, yes he means it but he'll leave his comment at that in case Daichi is the type who can't take compliments.]

[ there's a second of disbelieving silence, and then daichi breaks out laughing, feeling the blush from his neck starting to show on his cheeks too. he's never met anyone quite like sugawara, that's for sure. ]

Oh man, you really are something else Suga-san.

[He's unsure whether that's meant to be a good thing, or even an okay thing but laughing is good and- is he blushing?]

[He peers at Daichi to get a better read on his expression. That's definitely a blush, though maybe he just didn't notice his complexion before. But he thinks he would have noticed that. It's tempting to try and make it brighter, just to make sure.]

You did already have a lack of cats in your favour, but that you're nice and funny is a bonus.

[ it's more of a statement of fact than a compliment, although really, he has to give credit where credit is due. it's not every day someone embarrasses him to blushing. ]

Thanks, I try to give a good impression when I pick up hitchhikers.

You've succeeded! I'll definitely be recommending you to my friends. Though it's almost tempting to keep the tale of your good services to myself in case one of them steals my spot as best hitchhiker.

You know, I'm sure your friends are lovely but I'd rather meet them anywhere else but in my car for no reason..

[Suga sighs in mock sadness.] Well, maybe if you're ever up in Hokkaido I could do some introductions instead, but they'd be terribly put out that they can't have the true Sawamura experience.

Does that mean all your friends are hitchhikers?

[molifier]

Not really, but none of us drive.

[corvidad]

So, they could be if they wanted to do what you're doing.

Yup. And with my recommendation you could be in for some very nice company.
