Honey had noticed something amiss about Tadashi lately. Maybe it was the pile of course work that just kept coming as the semester progressed, maybe he was having trouble in a class and he was just too much of a good guy to worry the rest of them, or maybe there were problems at home that he just didn't feel up to sharing. Regardless of the reasoning, she felt like there was some sort of wound about him -- an open sore that simply wouldn't cicatrize... wouldn't even begin to heal.

She didn't want to press the subject, but she did want to help. Which was why she burst into the lab late one night, arms loaded down with an enormous (pink) box.

"Tadashi!" She really couldn't hide her grin as her tone took on a sing-song quality. "Guess who brought~ cup~cakes~!"

Her! The answer was her! She was too excited about brightening her fellow lab mate's day.

[ It's not the plan (in fact, it's nowhere even in the same country as the plan) to end up in a small village, holed up in the only sturdy building with a good place on the top floor for a sniper's nest. They lost the Jeep when the nearby HYDRA base took it, and trudged back through the forest towards the SSR base, desperately keeping out of sight of the enemy which outnumbers and outguns them. This village is the logical place to stay for the night, which is why they move silently and haven't lit a fire. There's some biscuits still in the cupboard, and they sombrely split that between them. Bucky takes first watch to let Steve rest: he's been cutting a path through for them all day with that damn shield. He's setting up with his rifle for the night when she enters the room, and he quirks a brow. ]

He wondered if the punk ever slowed down, Clint wondered if the others noticed what he did about Pietro, the energy always running through the kid.

Part of him loved the snark and sass, and another part of him wondered what it was hiding.

Clint also probably realized this was a stupid idea, but Steve wanted them to work on team work, and the best way to do that was teaching someone one of your skills. Clint called bullshit on that.

But here he is on the range, with the silver haired guy, was it a dye job or a side effect from the nazi drug cocktail.

"Here you should be able to draw this one." Clint says handing the guy an old wooden bow worn smooth from use, and well cared for. "It's the first one I made on my own." He says fingers tracing over the wood as he hands it over. "The draws to light on it for me now though."

He wonders if Pietro will be able to slow down, and mellow himself enough to get anything out of this, but hell he's willing to try.
