Otherwordly Meme

Sometimes all you need is a word to spark off an idea.

1. Post a comment with your character's name, canon, and any preferences you may have (no shipping, no smut, etc.)

2. Leave the comment blank or post a word or two in the body.

It may also help if you list scenarios you would like to play.

3. Reply to other people, either with words you picked out, or words they posted as prompts for a thread.

"So you want me as a contact, and that's all? I guess I can do that," she said softly, letting out a slow breath.

She mentions the earpiece, and Karen stands to look inside the package. She couldn't find it at first. "How small are we talking here?" You could hear her rummaging around inside the package for it. "And I may never see him again, but I will hold onto this in case I do," she offered helpfully. "What if I don't run into him again, what are you going to do?"

"I have some other ways I'm trying to reach him. I'm hoping I can, and if not, it's unfortunate, but I have other... people in that line of work I call on already.

And this arrangement does worth both ways. If you're in trouble, you can ask for help."

"Well, I hope that you can make that connection, it sounds like something he could use," Karen said, meaning every word of it.

"It sounds like you are quite busy, there must be more out there than I could have ever realized," she said in awe.

"Any kind of trouble?" She sounded a bit skeptical.

"Busy is a word for it," she admitted, and a little fatigue managed to show through that voice filter.

"I'm not one to call in favors for parking tickets, but I do everything I can to keep my people safe."

"I can imagine, lots of people out there need help," she said just as wearily.

"Well, I don't have a car, but I understand what you meant, no worries. Thank you, for listening, and helping," she said warmly.
