On Your Doorstep

On Your Doorstep
They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.
But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.
Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.
1. Comment with your character, preferences, & what role you'd like to play.
2. Tag others.
3. Thread

[ and he just pauses for coffee, smiling a little at the fact that this strange photo store and the people in it were all pretty much outside of space and time and black and white. it was so very human despite who they might really be in other realms. ]
I was never good at obeying stupid orders like that. [ he took out a stack of cards and set them face down on the table in front of her. ]
Your card and the cards for the two new Earths that have been come under radar. He will have to work with those Riders to access the cards, as usual, but since he is a friend of yours, he might not need to do so with yours.

[She did look surprised for a moment, though when the cards were set on the table. The top card actually bore Kivaara's symbol - her Rider symbol - on the back of it. Natsumi carefully picked up the stack and looked through a few of them.] ...I'll make sure these get to him. Thank you.

[ Tsukasa was young, far younger then the generals of his army. it stands to reason that he was given command and the rest went along with it for appearance's sake. ]
There's another Rider King out there, one that uses a similar borrowing technique as in the Decade Driver. He will need those if he ever will face that person. [ it's a little frustrating to find out that someone was able to duplicate his own inventions, though Joji always knew that it was bound to happen. they cannot be the only people that looked at the multiverses and saw the potential. still, he had every confidence that his Drivers were the superior ones. ]
My second question is have you thought about acquiring your own mode of transportation? I know that you usually go with the other Riders, but in some situations, that may not be possible.

[Her mood did brighten a bit, though, when she was asked that second question.] Y'know, we were just talking about that the other morning. It really would be nice to have my own bike, instead of having to catch a ride with Tsukasa or Yuusuke. Yuusuke's been teaching me how to drive on his bike, and we think I'm almost ready for my license test.

[ he was teasing just a little bit. he knew that Tsukasa only left her behind not because he thought she was weak, but because he cared too much for her. the people of this traveling photo shop meant something to him. ]
I have no need to tell him anything of the sort. [ he took a sip of coffee, and smiled at the black drink, almost as if he was expecting that response. ]
Then get a hold of me when you have your license. I'll be sure to send you a suitable bike.

[She did smile her thanks at Grandpa when he handed her cup of coffee to her. She was about to drink it, but stopped when she heard that last part.] Eh? You really mean it?

[ but it's interesting that there was something that he would try to avoid. after all, complete destruction of the multiverse never phased Tsukasa long enough for him to make a plan. ]
Of course. It would be something to keep me occupied for a little while.

And I really appreciate you offering to do that for me, Mr. Joji.

[ still that would be a sight to see. Jopji has had his own bouts of laughter - it's a mad scientist sort of thing really - but Tsukasa? not really, outside of that smug little snicker. ]
I should be thanking you to trust I can build one that will suit you. [ the bikes that went with Decade and Diend were easy - he already knew their combative strengths and weaknesses. her though, he wasn't sure of her limits, though he knew enough to make her Final Form. ]

I'm pretty sure that you'll do a fine job. You certainly did with Daiki's bike.

[ she probably was the only Sane Person. they did need after all, and he wasn't about to give up his tinkering to act anything close to stable. ]
I'm glad that you think so.

"Careful~, you don't want her head to get very high~." [Kivaara teased as she floated into the room. Natsumi simply gives her a look.]

[ he even holds out his hand for her to light on if she wanted to, smiling at the teasing tone. it was actually kind of cute, the little bat monster was. ]

[Natsumi, however, gives a little huff as she crosses her arms.] At least I'm not as bad as certain others.
no subject
[ he glances at her and dips his head, smiling still. ] I do not doubt that.

"At least we can make sure it doesn't happen to dearest Yuusuke~." [Kivaara giggled.]
