They ended up on your doorstep, quite literally. Bloody, possibly. Bruised, most definitely, though the wounds may be mental. You probably don't know them from Adam, yet you couldn't find it in you to turn them away - whether they wanted you to or not. So you opened up your home, just for a little while.

But it's getting to be more than a little while. Both of you are finding a comfort zone, because you didn't simply open up your home. Admit it or don't, but you've opened up your heart all the same.

Their's is slowly following, if its reluctant at all.

It's always worked on him. Sometimes, it's the only thing that'll help keep him in line - mainly because it's one of the few things that he fears.

And I really appreciate you offering to do that for me, Mr. Joji.

I guess even men with an ego like his needs to have a little bit of fear, even if it is one over laughter.

[ still that would be a sight to see. Jopji has had his own bouts of laughter - it's a mad scientist sort of thing really - but Tsukasa? not really, outside of that smug little snicker. ]

I should be thanking you to trust I can build one that will suit you. [ the bikes that went with Decade and Diend were easy - he already knew their combative strengths and weaknesses. her though, he wasn't sure of her limits, though he knew enough to make her Final Form. ]

I think of it as a reminder of who's really in charge around here. [Between three boys she loves, a Grandpa who has sometimes reverted into an old Rider enemy, and a tiny blood-sucking, talking bat? There are days when she feels like she's the only Sane Person aboard this Crazy Ship called "home".]

I'm pretty sure that you'll do a fine job. You certainly did with Daiki's bike.

[ she probably was the only Sane Person. they did need after all, and he wasn't about to give up his tinkering to act anything close to stable. ]

It would be much appreciated. [That was said in a half-joking manner. She's nowhere near as egotistical as certain other residents of the studio, thankfully.]

"Careful~, you don't want her head to get very high~." [Kivaara teased as she floated into the room. Natsumi simply gives her a look.]

[ he even holds out his hand for her to light on if she wanted to, smiling at the teasing tone. it was actually kind of cute, the little bat monster was. ]

"Ex-act-ly!" [Kivaara happily perches on his finger, grinning with joy. The little bat always enjoys spending time with anyone who wasn't 1) Tsukasa, and two) not evil. After all, evil people tend to not have very tasty blood.] "Best to nip that in the root~."

[Natsumi, however, gives a little huff as she crosses her arms.] At least I'm not as bad as certain others.

It always is best to nip that behavior entirely before it begins or you'll have another Tsukasa to deal with.

[ he glances at her and dips his head, smiling still. ] I do not doubt that.

If only the same could be applied to Tsukasa...and maybe Daiki. [Natsumi grumbled into her cup of coffee.]

"At least we can make sure it doesn't happen to dearest Yuusuke~." [Kivaara giggled.]
