![]() |
RULES • Leave a comment with your character's name and fandom. • RNG for a number between 1-10 to get your scenario. Mix and match! • Have fun! |
SCENARIOS 01) One In A Million | The other person is the only reason you agreed to play this game and now you have them right where you've hoped for all night! Get it, tiger. 02) Not My Type | This is hella awkward. Is it their voice? Attitude? Appearance? You just don't want those lips anywhere near yours. Seven Minutes In Heaven, more like Seven Minutes Of Nope. 03) Seventy Minutes | You're so involved in smooching that neither of you notices the door has been locked and everyone else has left the room! Not until it's too late. 04) Unrequited | Tell them how you feel (so many! emotions!!). Even if you're a little too enthusiastic and your love is unrequited you have seven minutes of smooching to do, as per game rules. You can't fail! 05) Seconds and Thirds | Some self-proclaimed funny man outside upped the stakes and now a third party has been shoved inside with the two of you. Make the most of it! (Three-way threads ahoy!) 06) Taken | One of you has a significant other and your seven minutes are spent smooching anyway. Oops. 07) Strangers in the Hangers | Hello there, Good Looking. Where has this hottie been all night? Who cares, now they're yours! 08) Long Lost Smooches | You haven't seen them in forever and didn't know they were going to be here tonight. Resolve that UST! 09) Party Pooper | One of those involved is upset because of #PartyShit and now they're trapped in a closet after getting dragged into playing a game they tried to avoid. Cheer them up? 10) Get A Room | Your seven minutes are up but neither of you wants to stop. Relocate to a spare room! |

Jude... [she starts but trails off.]
no subject
[he pauses.]
But then, I realized that thinking that way was an excuse for being afraid. I was afraid of doing anything that might change what we have, because... then I could lose it completely. And I couldn't stand that.
[he's still kind of dancing around actually saying what he means.]
no subject
More so she was afraid that in the end, no matter what their joint mission was, it was inevitable that she would not be there in his future. She would not get to bear witness to whatever world their dream managed to create... and she couldn't be there with him for whatever future he wanted beyond that.
Her eyes flutter open to watch him again. Her expression is gentle, but somehow sad.] I want you to be happy, Jude. [Something he may not be able to find with her.]
no subject
[Of course he knows. Her actions so far have proven that much. But the fact is that he can't change his feelings. He can't make himself fall for someone who isn't the Lord of Spirits.]
But I'm happiest with you.
[There. He'd said it. ...Kind of. Not really.
...he pauses, before continuing.] That doesn't mean I'm sad when you're not here. It's just that... I can't imagine being any happier around anyone else.
no subject
Milla smiles and she might even be blushing a little.] Then... I'm glad. [She offers him her hand.] Being with you also makes me happy so... while I'm here we will make the most of our time together.
1/2
But that isn't what he wants. Sure, making the most of the time is good, but... It's not what he's really been worrying and wondering about. So Jude shakes his head.]
Milla...
[he pauses, gathering his thoughts. He has to make this really count.]
no subject
Yeah, we can make the most of things now, and then you'll have to leave. But I've been thinking a lot about our mission lately, and about what it means to make a world for both humans and spirits. And I realized that if I let the things that divide us stop me now, I'll always regret it. And more than that, I wouldn't be fulfilling the mission. If we just accept that we're too different to be together and it would only make us sad, then we're saying we're too different to coexist, too.
So I... I want to make you a promise.
[And now he finally reaches out to take earnestly take not one of her hands, but both, and stares directly into her eyes.]
I'm going to perfect spyrites and fix this world. And then, I'm going to call you back. I'll sing or bribe you with mana or threaten to pull your hair as much as it takes.
Because... [.......]
Because I love you, Milla. I'm not going to let our story end the way Howe and Milla Kresnik's did. I'm going to prove to you and everyone else that spirits and humans can find happiness too.
[there. Now he really said it. And once the adrenaline wears off he can go drown in a puddle of embarrassment.]
1/2
And yet how many times had they encountered love between a spirit and a human? If it was such a different beast why was it also such a common one? Maybe... simply believing it wasn't possible because of the past examples wasn't the right way to think about it. And if they wanted to make a world for humans and spirits then perhaps it was just as much a world for coexists as it was for love. And for them.
Now she's definitely blushing--almost worse than he is--and her expression melts into a soft smile. Her look is gentle and filled with such adoration; a look very rarely seen displayed so openly on her face. His hands are warm around her own.]
Jude, I... [For once he seems to have made her speechless.]
no subject
Consider it a promise. [She'll wait. She'll wait for that day then. And she'll do what she can on her end to make everything they want the world to be real. A world she wants to be real for the benefit of everyone but maybe most of all... for them. He won't work toward that goal alone.]
Thank you, Jude.
no subject
I should be the one thanking you.
[his cheeks are burning and with his speech over he feels like he's going to start babbling soon. But then, words aren't really what they need right now, are they?
He leans forward. This time, he can initiate. The kiss is almost as clumsy as before, but now it's the seal of their promise - their pact.]
no subject
She returns it just as clumsily but with more of an attempt to make it meaningful; to ensure it's different somehow than before. She has no idea how to do that besides try to put a lot of feeling into it but... she tries.]
steals that icon
he has absolutely no idea what he's doing beyond that thought though, so this could either work, or just make the moment extremely awkward.]
yes good
Because in Milla's attempt to somehow make this experience different that's apparently the exact same idea she gets. She's read all about how important kissing is to romance after all. And since he was full of surprises tonight she wants to make the attempt in return.
So you get her tongue against your bottom lip, Jude. Uncharacteristically shy but there nevertheless. There's no technique here between either of them but there's enough feelings and emotions to make it work. Having nothing to compare works too.]
no subject
But having no comparisons helps a lot. And it's hard to be embarrassed when she's reciprocating. He must be doing something sort of right... right?
As their tongues slide across one another, he releases her hands. He loops one arm loosely around her waist while letting the other hand slide up to gently caress her hair. Being this close is what really makes this meaningful.]
no subject
It was hard to feel embarrassment all right though for her this had a lot to do with all the sensations that were distracting her at the moment. She had no idea kissing someone was so satisfying. All the words in the world that her books had used in an attempt to describe the sensation didn't even come close to what it was actually like. But maybe that was largely due to the fact that it was Jude she was kissing. The way her heart was beating faster and how hot her face felt certainly had more to do with him anyway. Or maybe it was from the kissing... Both? Apparently the human body really was a fascinating thing...
The placement of his hands seemed like natural progression here so she draws her arms around his neck in turn. Being touched like that felt nice too.]
1/2
But he soon realizes that they're at an impasse. Jude can't think of how to continue to deepen their kiss without taking more liberties than he's comfortable with. He's not Alvin. But at the same time, he's not ready to just let this end. So he stalls for the moment, trying to draw things out as long as possible before he has to stop to breathe...]

The city guard holding the flashlight (useful technology always spreads the quickest) proceeds to yell something about kids and trespassing and how they're in trouble now.]
no subject
It takes her a good ten seconds to figure out what's happening and to get her brain back in proper working order. Wow, look at her blush. For once her blush might rival Jude's.]
I guess there were guards after all. [Surprise...
She steps away from him to at least untangle themselves from that compromising position. But she doesn't move too much further away.] Should we run for it?
no subject
[unless she plans to knock him out, but Jude's not going to allow that.
The only other way out of this is to jump over the side of the windmill...........]
no subject
[She grabs Jude's arm and abruptly hurls him off the edge. How romantic! But she's leaping off immediately after him and they fall for a good two seconds before a rush of wind catches them and pushes them upwards instead. They soar upwards a little more gently than they fell, light shimmering from the briefly used wind arte Milla conjured to help their momentum before Sylph heeded her call. That in combination with Sylph is more than enough to get them out of there in a hurry. She catches a hold of Jude's arm as they soar since it's easier for Sylph if he stays close to her.
This is probably mildly terrifying for Jude.
Milla, meanwhile, seems to find this hilarious. She's laughing quite thunderously all of a sudden.]
no subject
['mildly' is putting it, well, completely wrong. He's not sure what he's supposed to hold on to as she suddenly shoves him off the edge.
Is her creative plan to kill him so he can reincarnate as a spirit with her?
Below, the lights of the town are suddenly growing closer and closer. He shuts his eyes, too petrified to keep watching... and then he feels his body start to rise. Then there are hands on his arm and he opens his eyes again to see Milla floating next to him, laughing uproariously. At least he thinks she is. It's hard to hear anything with all of the wind, but she certainly looks like she's having a good time.
Jude, meanwhile, is too afraid to do anything at all. This is worse than the wyverns. At least then he could cling to Milla while entrusting his life in her hands.]
no subject
She is having a good time as flying with Sylph is one of her favorite things to do and it's been quite awhile since she got the chance. Her laughter is partially from the sudden rush of excitement it brings and a reaction to escaping that situation in such a rush. But poor Jude looks terrified so maybe it'd be wiser to find some solid ground.
They've been launched pretty far from where they started with the manor back in sight. Well, it's roof is since they're moving over it. The view behind Driselle's manor is apparently a large garden complete with a fountain, many flowers and a maze hedge. It's not a section of the palace Milla has seen before but it seems as good a place as any to return to the ground. At least within the manor's property there was less of a chance they'd get accosted by a guard. ... Hopefully.
So that's where they go and the descent is much gentler than the take off. She keeps hold of Jude's arm so he doesn't fall forward when their feet touch the paved walkway that winds through the garden. However she appears to still be laughing even as the wind dissipates and drops her hair back down around her shoulders.]
I'm sorry. You should've seen the look on your face. [All right well maybe her laughter was mostly induced at his expense and had less to do with the excitement.]
no subject
...it's a moment before he can reply.]
I don't really want to see.
no subject
[Milla no that doesn't matter because being thrown off the ledge from that height would scare anyone.]
no subject
[that would have been mildly less terrifying.]
