Seven Minutes In Heaven
![]() |
RULES • Leave a comment with your character's name and fandom. • RNG for a number between 1-10 to get your scenario. Mix and match! • Have fun! |
SCENARIOS 01) One In A Million | The other person is the only reason you agreed to play this game and now you have them right where you've hoped for all night! Get it, tiger. 02) Not My Type | This is hella awkward. Is it their voice? Attitude? Appearance? You just don't want those lips anywhere near yours. Seven Minutes In Heaven, more like Seven Minutes Of Nope. 03) Seventy Minutes | You're so involved in smooching that neither of you notices the door has been locked and everyone else has left the room! Not until it's too late. 04) Unrequited | Tell them how you feel (so many! emotions!!). Even if you're a little too enthusiastic and your love is unrequited you have seven minutes of smooching to do, as per game rules. You can't fail! 05) Seconds and Thirds | Some self-proclaimed funny man outside upped the stakes and now a third party has been shoved inside with the two of you. Make the most of it! (Three-way threads ahoy!) 06) Taken | One of you has a significant other and your seven minutes are spent smooching anyway. Oops. 07) Strangers in the Hangers | Hello there, Good Looking. Where has this hottie been all night? Who cares, now they're yours! 08) Long Lost Smooches | You haven't seen them in forever and didn't know they were going to be here tonight. Resolve that UST! 09) Party Pooper | One of those involved is upset because of #PartyShit and now they're trapped in a closet after getting dragged into playing a game they tried to avoid. Cheer them up? 10) Get A Room | Your seven minutes are up but neither of you wants to stop. Relocate to a spare room! |

She pulls out a shirt, examines it, and then tries it. It's long, past her hips, but... doesn't button over her boobs. She tries, but.... nope. That will not work at all.
All right, nevermind. She takes it off instead and huffs.] Clothing is so cumbersome. I don't think there's anything in here that will fit me anyway. [So it looks like she's staying half naked then. Sorry Jude.]
no subject
I'm not uncomfortable, it's just...
[he has to pause because he has to watch her try to button that shirt and fail. Milla...
...
but no. He really has to tell her. They're practically dating now, they should discuss issues like this, shouldn't they? ...Right?]
You're a very attractive woman, and when you wear things like that you're even more attractive. I don't want to make you uncomfortable.
[Not that milla would actually be but it's the principle. he's supposed to be a gentleman, not someone like Alvin.]
no subject
She turns around to face him fully and blushes. Oh.... well.............]
It doesn't make me uncomfortable that you think that. [Isn't finding the other person you love physically attractive part of the equation? All her suggestively titled books seemed to imply that it was physical attraction first that even drew people together. Well, humans.
She may have slightly misunderstood what he actually meant by telling her this but still... she really didn't mind if he thought that way. Even if the admission made her feel a different sort of uncomfortable. ... No, wrong word again. It was more... embarrassment. But not a bad sort of embarrassment? She felt weirdly flattered. ... This was complicated.]
no subject
Well.... that's good, then. [wow Jude can you sound any lamer? He mentally kicks himself over not knowing what to say.]
no subject
She stands there a little awkward for a moment before returning to the drawers to properly shut them.
Then she crosses the room where he sits and leans down, giving him a brief kiss against the corner of his mouth. She actually kind of missed his lips but that worked too as it's feather light and quick.
Milla pulls away just as quickly as she arrived and smiles.] Don't worry so much, Jude. [She says that even knowing he will probably worry anyway.]
no subject
You know it's easier to say that than do it.
no subject
Speaking off, she takes his hand and pulls at his arm, urging him to his feet.]
Now, shouldn't you go to asleep? It's important to get your rest. [It's at least well after midnight at this point.]
no subject
I'm not really that tired yet. [this is sort of true, and sort of not. He's tired, but he has so much adrenaline from everything that had happened pumping through him that actually calming down and falling asleep seems like a far-off thing.]
no subject
[This had been a nice repose but things needed to get back on track. And who knew when Ludger would need to deal with another fractured dimension.]
no subject
[she does have a point. It's just down to whether he can calm down enough to sleep. Also, he's still wearing all his clothes....
...
well he can take off his coats, that's not scandalous at least.]
no subject
It's important for humans to get their rest. [She remembers this well! From when the Four were not with her that is. Nowadays she doesn't need to sleep... though she certainly can and sometimes actually does. Mostly to not feel left out of everyone else's need to sleep but sometimes it did actually just feel better than meditating.
Also Jude taking off his jackets would definitely not be nearly as scandalous as her taking off her.... "jacket".
She releases his hand and nods.] The others are probably asleep as well. [Well, maybe some of them.]
no subject
He shrugs off both of his coats, then removes the wristbands that he wears for some reason or another. And his shoes ..... Okay that's about as much clothing as he dares to take off while Milla is watching. Then he approaches the bed. He knows Milla's only been here for one night previously, but the sheets still smell like her. It doesn't help his desire to actually go to sleep.]
...Are you going to sleep, too? [he doesn't actually know if she has to or not, or if it's something she can do if she feels like it, like eating.]
no subject
Perhaps. Sleep isn't really necessary for me but sometimes I prefer it over meditating. [So it is pretty much like eating.]
no subject
He pulls back the blankets and sits on the edge of the bed.] I just don't want you to have to tiptoe around me all night, if you're not going to be sleeping. [so he's right back into the worrying too much about other people thing.]
no subject
Also Jude...... again? Didn't she just tell him not to worry so much? Yet there he goes again. He really does just do that without thinking about it, doesn't he...
She glances over at him with a flat expression.] Even if I don't sleep I don't move around at night. [Since she did the whole meditating thing instead. Or she read books. Sleep or not nighttime was still a time of rest for her.] Didn't I tell you to stop worrying so much?
no subject
[yeah, he does just do it unconsciously. But it's also because of that context and atmosphere and mood that he's worrying even more than usual. The relationship is new and they're in unknown territory, and he has no idea what he's supposed to be doing. He fidgets with a corner of the blanket, leaning back against the headboard.] I guess I'm just nervous.
[why he'd be nervous to sleep next to her, he doesn't say. He hopes she'll understand without him having to explain.... though that may be wishful thinking.]
no subject
She laughs lightly.] Nervous? Why? I'm not going to bite you. [Okay she does actually know that's not what he's nervous about but it's hard to resist teasing him when he says things like that. Even if she still is naive to the implications all the same. But he's making it too easy for her to poke fun at him.
She leans over to him and ruffles his hair which... doesn't make it look any messier than it already looks.] Just try to relax and get some rest.
no subject
That's not why I'm nervous. [though her reaction's gone a long way to calming him down regardless. He catches the hand she'd been petting him with and pulls it away, but briefly gives it a squeeze before he lets go.] ] Let's just say it's a silly human thing. But you shouldn't worry about me either, you know.
no subject
I see. [Silly human thing...? What does that mean? She wants to know...] I know but I can't help it. [She smiles a bit sheepishly. Yes, she notes the hypocrisy there...
She glances away thoughtfully.] The past year I wasn't here, I was worried about you. Of course I had faith in you but I did leave you in a difficult situation all the same.
no subject
He chuckles softly, this time sounding more genuine about it.]
I could say the exact same thing, you know. You're the Lord of Spirits, and you have Muzét and the Four, but you still have a bigger job than me. I was worried that you were carrying too much all by yourself... But that's why I knew I had to work harder.
no subject
but then that makes her smile.] Then it seems we were thinking the same thing in the end. [She had wanted to work hard too so the burden had not fallen on him alone to try and improve the world.]
But I wouldn't say my job is any harder than yours. I think the conflict between the two worlds makes things here much harder. I've seen it first hand.
no subject
He pulls the blankets around him. He's really no closer to actually going to sleep, since they're talking, but at least she got him into the bed.]
I guess that's why we're partners. [Elle and Ludger aren't the only ones who get a partner. Although their 'partnership' has a different context to it now...] We both worry about each other more than ourselves.
no subject
I suppose we are. [More like she's definitely sure they are. Partners in more ways now than one it seems but partners all the same. But she notes he's pulling at the blankets.]
Are you still nervous about your silly human thing? [He seems more relaxed now so maybe not. Maybe he'll explain it now...]
no subject
[He'd nearly forgotten about being embarrassed about the whole situation, until of course she brings it up again.] I mean... no, not so much anymore.
no subject
She shifts to settle on the bed beside him (though thankfully she doesn't get under the covers too) and leans on the headboard, pulling her book into her lap.]
What was it that made you feel that way? [She wants to knoooow... He probably shouldn't have implied it was a uniquely human thing to feel. That's what got her more curious than anything.]
