From the moment you first set eyes on them, you've been drawn - but this is no meet-cute. Thy are beautiful, interesting...and so, so sad or angry, like a bird with clipped wings in a cage. They're a prisoner: mentally, physically, or both. Again, caged. You? You could be anyone, from an innocent bystander who happened to catch a glance in a faraway window, just a cog in the machine that keeps them trapped, to a fellow entombed creature. Even if you've never felt a thing like "compassion" before (or thought yourself incapable), you are sympathetic towards them now and your feelings only begin to grow, a fixation forming. At a certain point, you realize that you have but one option. You have to free them by any means necessary. You want to see them safe and content, more than anything in this world. ...even if they're free and don't want to be with you, that's enough. Right? HOW TO PLAY

Somehow, in some way, you woke up in front of the creepiest dang mansion you've ever set eyes on. The gates creak, the steps creak, there's bats, there's possibly a skeleton or two... but either way, you ended up inside the gates, they slammed shut behind you, and complete Scooby-Doo style, you have no choice but to go in for some reason. Maybe your car broke down. Maybe you just woke up here and don't know where you are. Maybe a horrible storm's rolling in with all the ominous thunder and lightning it'd like to add to itself. Either way, you've found yourself opening the door to a huge, sprawling, creepy mansion. The good news is, you're probably not alone. If you had powers before, they won't get you out of here, and this place seems to be almost thriving with spooks and spirits and unrest... the only thing to do is explore its various rooms and make yourself at home... forever!
