| Atonement is, in your eyes, a Sisyphean task. You'll never be able to redeem yourself, no matter if what you did was against your will and only allowed you to survive in a cruel world. Who could understand what you've done or think you could be forgiven when it comes to all your friends? Certainly you never believed redemption, so far away already, could come in the form of a person...or a romantic relationship.

 You don't know that I know / You watch me every night / And I just can't resist the urge / To stand here in the light What goes on between the walls of whatever little abode you call your own should stay there, in theory. In practice? Well, you've gained a secret (or not so secret) admirer, someone who watches you in your own safe spot, during your most intimate and private moments...when you're the most vulnerable. It could be anyone: somebody you know, a friend, an enemy or a complete stranger. Most people would rightfully flip the fuck out, and understandably so, but not you. There's something incredibly appealing - and arousing - about watching them watch you. Maybe it's because you're attracted to them, you never thought they'd think of you this way, or you just feel a little naughty. So, at any rate, you'll let them watch you, and perhaps even add some more action to your daily routine just to tease them and see how they respond. You could, of course, easily close the curtains, but this is too much fun. Besides, it's not like this will go any further than some cheeky peeking... ...right?

 Somewhere further than making out yet not quite going all the way, "fooling around" is a time honored tradition. It's easy, low-pressure, and there are no real parameters - above the clothes or not. Sound good? Maybe you're young and want to try but not commit to anything too carnal. Similarly, you could want to explore somebody's, well, body because they're so different than you. There's also the possibility that you want to make them happy or see how they react to feeling beyond great. Could it be that you're a tease, even? Or you could just be bored. There's nothing on TV, anyway.

THE PIRATE MEME!
Ahoy there me hearties!
Your characters are now pirates! Sailing the open seas in search of prizes for the taking, engaging in daring battles, drinking rum, getting shipwrecked and everything else it is that pirates do.
1. Post your character, feel free to leave your post blank or drop in a brief description of who/what they are. Pirates, naval officers, merchants, the Caribbean is your oyster!
2. Tag other characters, enjoy piratey goodness! There are prompts below for inspiration, or make something up yourselves!

4. Profit!
Relationships
1. Natural Enemies - pirate vs navy, pirate vs pirate, native vs pirate, whatever the combination, you're supposed to be at odds with each other.
2. Crewmates - You sail together, you fight together, you may or may not die for each other. Nowhere does it say you have to like each other.
3. Land and Sea - you're a sailor, they're a farmer, a land owner, a shopkeeper, a friend in the pub, you only see them when you're in port so you better make it count
4. Hierarchy - They're your captain, your boss, or generally just higher up in the food chain than you.
5. Somebody else - Your choice!
Scenarios
1. Before the battle - you're preparing to take a prize, or take on the navy, are you ready?
2. Mid-battle - Fight! Fight! Fight!
3. The Aftermath - You're licking your wounds, counting your prize, taunting your prisoners...whatever you're doing, the fight is over.
4. Downtime - You're in port, who knows how long for, it's time to party as only a pirate can
5. Stranded - Stuck on a beach, becalmed in the middle of the ocean, you're going nowhere fast
6. Sailing, Sailing - It's day to day life out on the open water, nothing could possibly go wrong
7. Choose Your Own Adventure - Whatever else you want to come up with!

So they say the library is a place of refuge for the bookworms and the hardworking souls just trying to eke their way to a passing grade. Maybe your character has wound up here to study, or they're here to finally pay off that fine they've accrued from all their overdue books. Perhaps they're one of the frazzled librarians trying to find something that got misplaced. Whatever the case, they're here now, so remember to be quiet!

You have three finals over the course of the next week and you probably haven't studied enough yet. Time to hit the books for that last-minute cramming, and pick a god and pray.
2) GROUP SESSION.
Despite the heavy demand, looks like you were the lucky person who snagged a study room. Did you remember to remind your friends to show up? Are you actually getting any work done? Or are you just drawing things on the whiteboard because what is life without a few risks?
3) WORKING.
The library has to be manned too! Your character could be one of the harried librarians dealing with an unexpected slew of visitors in the afternoon. Look: the sweet old lady who's trying to do her due diligence before she adopts a cat? She needs some help. And as much as it sucks, someone's gotta handle the logistics of requisitioning the right materials for the usual visitors.
4) TROUBLE.
Sometimes things get out of your control. For all you know, those footsteps trailing behind you for the past few minutes don't actually belong to someone minding their own business. Time to duck into the library and shake them off your tail. Maybe someone inside will help you out? Or, worse, whoever was pursuing you could just follow you right in, and now it's a mad dash as you topple bookshelves trying to keep them from catching youβor worse.
5) MISSION.
There's important case work you're prepping for and you have a lot of old archives to dig through. You've got all these books and papers spread out on the table and the clock is ticking andβoh god, are you going to be ready in time?
6) ADVENTURE.
This isn't just some average library. It's a trove of ancient knowledge and you're the first one to step into its vaunted halls for centuries, heedless of the traps. Perhaps you're the intrepid researcher who's come here to discover the lost secret to sealing an eldritch abomination that's on its way to doom humanity. For all you know, that old tome you're picking up? Maybe it's about to grow teeth and eat you. Hey, wait, that suit of armor that you thought was just decoration... That thing might be chasing you. Or that owl statue to your left, that thing looks cuteβor wait, was its head facing this direction earlier...?
