① Action → Gun fights, bar brawls, fights to the death are all possible scenarios.
② Angst → Characters suffer emotionally or physically from relationships breaking up, death, injury, etc. Hurt and comfort themes are included.
③ Crack → Genderswaps, super powers, sudden compulsions are all possible outcomes.
④ Fluff → Something that is devoid of angst. It's light-hearted and might have the overtone of romance.
⑤ Gen → General fun, things that didn't fit in the other categories.
⑥ Sex → First times, kinks, even dubcon are all possible themes of sex related scenarios.
⑦ Your choice → Think of your own scenario, choose one of the above or make a combo even!

(harmless) hanahaki meme

hanahaki (literally "vomiting flowers") is a fictional illness that began in japanese literature. most commonly, it happens in the case of unrequited love; flowers bloom in a person's lungs and their love suffocates them until it is either requited or they die.

that's pretty angsty. instead, consider a world where hanahaki is a normalised inconvenience and it's never hurt anyone. flowers grow in your chest from the cultivation of love — for your friends, your family, your dog. and it's a feeling that wants to be known, so maybe you can't help spilling petals sometimes when you laugh, or sigh, or shout at someone. everyone knows what it means and it's something to be celebrated. you love.

maybe you don't want to, though. maybe you chew on the petals and swallow them back, so that no one knows the feelings you're carrying around in your heart. but maybe that's not going to work forever, and sooner or later, you're going to cough those feelings up.

the short version
① hanahaki means your characters cough up flowers. plain and simple.
② it's caused by unspoken love, in any form, platonic or romantic; whether the love is requited has nothing to do with it.
③ the disease is not harmful in any way, and it's no more annoying than a persistent cough; it's treated as more symbolic magic realism here than concerned with the real life implications of coughing up flowers.
④ it's "cured" when a person expresses their love, whether the feeling is requited or not.
⑤ so basically, you can rp any everyday scenario... but now your character might have to deal with the minor nuisance of hacking up petals around the people they love. and those people are going to know what that means.

Welcome to the world of Duellists! You suddenly woke up at the prestigious Ohtori Academy without knowing how you arrived there on the first place. You have been de-aged / aged up to high school age and been given a vaguely militaristic uniform that consists of form-fitting white jacket with coloured trimming and weighted cord as well as trousers of the same colour. Around your finger there's a silver ring with lacquered bass-relief rose engraving. Nearly is laying a weapon of your choice (sword, daggers, bow etc). Now it is time to figure out your way into this new world.

First, meet the all powerful Student Council members. The student council makes up the elites of Ohtori Academy; All of the members of the student council are duelists who must compete for the rose bride. The council consists of Touga Kiryuu the president, Kyouichi Saionji the vice-president, Miki Kaoru, Juri Arisugawa, Nanami Kiryuu, and Ruka Tsuchiya. Your uniform and signet ring has marked you as a Duellist just like them, set apart from the rest of the students and it also means you are expected to fight for the right to be the fiancee of the Rose Bride and one day when the inverted floating castle in the forest finally descended you would gain 'Power To Revolutionize The World'.

What you could do:

1. Staying away from the Arena (place for duelling, a floating stage with twisting winding pathway as the only way to reach it). Good luck with that, for generations all those who has been marked as Duellist sooner or later would be drawn there. Resistance is futile but you surely could try. 

2. Maybe you suddenly find yourself inhabiting the body of one of the Student Council members or even the Chairman of the Academy himself. In case of body-swap scenario, have fun trying to adjust to the new shell and entirely foreign environment (unless somehow you have intimate knowledge of the Shoujo Kakumei Utena's universe).

3. Maybe you suddenly wake up in your own body but occupying the role of one of the elites of the school. Oh boy, now not only you must be adept at playing the internal politics there (unless you wants to be dethroned in the most humiliating ways possible) but also to figure out how to survive the fate of the Duellist and find your way back to the original universe.

4. Oh look, someone to assist you in this universe. Or, maybe they're fellow lost traveler who had been displaced from their home. Let's get to know them better, shall we? Forge your alliance, fall in love, etc. Beware if they are actually a native of this universe, for you might find yourself not wanting to go back to your own world later. Stay alert even if they're fellow traveller, for they might also wants the power for whatever goal they have in mind and they might decide that not even you are allowed to stand on their way.

5. Oh no! You inhabited the body of the Rose Bride and now become the much sought after prize. This body / role comes with a caveat in form of compulsion to serve the current Champion of the Duel and I meant serve in all possible ways. In a sense you just become an obedient slave of someone else. Pray that your new master is kind because you now are bound to them and must obey them or suffers from [insert magical punishment here].
