sometimes you're just...sick of being an adult. too many bills and responsibilities and not nearly enough naps. or maybe you're just sick of feeling alone, like you're the only person looking after yourself. either way, tonight? you're in the mood for a bit of playing at being a different age.

this meme can be for non-sexual or sexual ageplay between characters. this is not exclusively a kink meme, although that can also be explored here.

one character will be the caregiver and the other will be the one being taken care of. now as for what 'care' means? that's up to you to decide. options are provided below just as suggestions, and it's recommended to put which ones you're interested in in that top level. you may also want to put if you'd prefer sexual or non-sexual, and if you'd like to play the caregiver or the care-getter. random number generator is right here if you're feeling bold or indecisive.

the timing
1. negotiation. how are you going to bring this up to your partner? did they walk in on you holding a stuffed animal and now you have some explaining to do?
2. incidental. you two didn't negotiate this, at least not in specific terms. maybe it just naturally happened as a way to soothe your partner. maybe you just asked for help with a simple task and were surprised at how nice it felt. either way, you two are dancing around addressing what exactly you're getting yourselves into.
3. new to it. you guys have discussed it, but this is the first time you've actually tried it out. are things a little awkward as you settle into it? or are you realizing you like it more than you'd thought you would?
4. old pros. for whatever reason, this is the norm for you two by now, but that doesn't mean each individual scene is any less important.
5. rare. this isn't just a fun way to relax. this is almost involuntary - a last-resort measure used to calm you down when you're worked up.
6. switching. you're usually the caregiver, but now you're the one getting your hair brushed and spoken to softly. or perhaps the reverse. either way, roles are swapped, either because you regularly switch, or you've just gotten curious about it after so many sessions playing the one way.
7. any and all others.


the activity (non-sexual)
1. hair brushing. maybe it didn't even start out as ageplay. maybe they just looked like they could use a good de-tangling and things spiraled from there.
2. patching up. someone scraped their knee, elbow, knuckle, you name it. or maybe it's a much more serious injury, but you're trying to handle it in a way that calms down the person who's gotten hurt. either way, some band-aids are needed.
3. snack time. maybe just making a meal for their partner becomes a nuanced thing to do together, once this roleplay is involved. getting taken care of in such a basic way might mean more than either of them realize.
4. accident. they just broke that heirloom vase from old aunt adelaide! and they are so, so sorry. maybe too sorry. maybe you need to think outside the box a bit to help calm them down and remind them that accidents aren't the end of the world.
5. bedtime. either they had a nightmare and you had to get creative to soothe them, or they have trouble sleeping and this helps them drift off. either way, it's two characters and one bed. or couch. or carseat. i don't know your living situation.
6. surely there's more. from coloring to playgrounds, there's certainly more ideas to be had. if you can think of anything else you want, go ahead and specify it in that top-level or when tagging in!

The "Wedding Dress" Meme


In the past, weddings and marriages were simply business contracts to bind family and property together. Though that remains in some cultures, weddings in the modern day tend to be a time of joy, commitment, and looking forward to the future. That is, of course, if you're the one getting married to the person you love. But what if that person is getting married, and you're the one on the outside looking in? Maybe they left you, maybe you didn't know a good thing until it was gone, or perhaps they were forced into marrying someone else.

That decision is made, and the only one that remains is this: what will you do?
