THE ACE ATTORNEY AU MEME



How it works:

1. Post with your character, putting their name, canon, and role (witness, defense attorney, prosecutor, etc) in subject line. Feel free to include preferences, a brief blurb about your character as this is an AU, and whatever else you feel is important!
2. Choose a prompt or just RNG it!
3. Thread out dumb lawyers/detectives/judges/witnesses/etc.
4. HAVE FUN.

Prompts:

1. Defense attorney: It's your first day on the job! Gosh, let's hope it's not a case that's way too difficult to deal with! ...what's that? It's a homicide case? Well shit.

Or maybe it's not your first day. Maybe you've been at this for a while. If so, how has it affected you? Do you truly care about justice? Or are you just in it to turn a paycheck?

2. Prosecution: The defense's worst nightmare. You fiend! How dare you use things like "logic" and "reason" and "common sense" to try and prove your point.

3. Witness: Whatever crime was committed, you were there to see it. ...okay, so part of it. A second of it? Were you even truly a witness, or are you just trying to throw everyone off base.

4. Detective: Wouldn't be an Ace Attorney meme without one of these. You know the drill, find evidence in order to figure out exactly what went down. Of course, it's always possible that you aren't exactly the good kind of detective, and I'm not talking about competency...

5. Police officer: Whether you're guarding one of the inmates before the trial, arresting someone, or acting as the bailiff, police officers are a necessary part of the franchise. Too bad they don't get much attention...

6. The defendant: For whatever reason, you're the one being charged for the crime. Were you framed? Were you just at the wrong place at the wrong time? Or are you truly guilty and deserve whatever's coming to you?
