You're not overly proud of yourself; more than anything, you're ashamed. Of the way you look, of the way you act, of your origin, of your past and what you've done, of who you are. Why would anyone want to be around you? Even if they did, they wouldn't understand who you really are. It's easier to just stay away and not get close to anyone.
Then, the one person comes into your life and suddenly, that all changes. They get you, and something that simple makes the tides turn. You're not so ashamed. You can be around them comfortably. Finally, you feel...worthy.
That alone makes you want them more than anything. Still, the thought of losing them by making a move and ruining all you have is bracing. Will you risk it all to see if maybe, just maybe, they could love you
And if you do, what lengths will you go through to protect this relationship?

    low-key dating meme. Not every relationship has to be ridiculously world-shattering and universe-encompassing. Sometimes, two people can simply enjoy each others' company and enjoy that little fluttering in their stomachs when they're together. That's the case for you two. It's dating, having fun, pure and simple. Of course, the catch is, your relationship is actually so simple that it's below the radar. No one knows about it except for the people involved. Maybe you guys are just private like that; on the other hand, it may be a necessity to keep things a secret from others. Maybe you're both team mates, and others on the team would give you grief, or you're not suppose to be dating, or you're not the type to usually date and you're only testing the waters. Perhaps it's the combination of you two, possibly an odd couple, that would bring some controversy or some teasing. Or, you know, you could not want to deal with friends and relatives being busybodies. Your reasons are your own. Are you content with stealing moments to be together as a couple? Do you want to make your relationship known and the fact that you can't drives you batty? Remember, there are lots of benefits to dating in secret. You can be yourselves completely, away from prying eyes, and get to know each other better as potential longterm romantic partners. After all, you're not at that stage quite yet. how to play.

you're on a boat!
Your characters are together on a boat. Maybe it was by choice or maybe it was by chance or maybe they only just met! Either way, it doesn't seem like you'll be seeing land for a while, so enjoy yourselves 'til then - or at least be civil and try not to throw each other overboard. Hopefully neither of you get seasick...
Prompts if you need them:
1. cruise ship - sit back, relax, and enjoy the ocean breeze and this luxurious vacation! you've earned this, and nothing could possibly go wrong... right?
2. gondolas - how romantic! it's just you and a friend and the gentle waves of a beautiful river... well, and a boatman.
3. fishing boat - looks like you're going to be here a while. are the fish biting? be patient and don't be too loud or else you'll scare them all away!
4. pirate ship - perfect if you're in the mood for adventure! just don't get stuck swabbing the deck, or caught in the middle of crossfire.
5. whitewater rafting - get those lifejackets on! hopefully you and your partner know a thing or two about teamwork.
6. lifeboat - how long til rescue gets here, or until you reach land again? will the emergency rations will last between everyone on this boat until then?
7. pick another boat! - choose your own adventure!

You don't know why you strayed off your path, or why you decided to enter the unmarked, unlocked door. Something simply beckoned you, and there was no resisting.
Once inside, you'll find yourself in a long hallway marked by multiple doors on both sides. The walls are painted a deep red and lit with gently flickering candles. It's lovely in a way, but there's something ominous about the whole setup.
Rules: Your character picks a door, seemingly at random, only to have it lock behind them. Inside, they'll find the room set up as if to show their greatest fantasy - even one they may not realize themselves. Everything is perfectly prepared from the bed to the drawers filled with different tools and pleasurable objects to enticing refreshments on the tables. There's a deep scent to the air, perfume tainted with something dark - and the more you breathe in, the more your fantasies will come to mind, until the thought of not acting on them is unbearable.
All there is to do next is wait... You won't be alone for long.
Roll for your character when tagging, or pick a number (or three) that best suits you.
When posting your character, feel free to write a small description about them, about what their fantasy might be, and how the room may be set up. Your character will be compelled to act out their fantasy, no matter the cost.
