HURT & COMFORT RP [EXPANDED]

Hurt/Comfort - Hurt/comfort
is a fan fiction genre that involves the physical pain or emotional
distress of one character, who is cared for by another character. The
injury, sickness or other kind of hurt allows an exploration of the
characters and their relationship.

1. INJURY. You've been injured. Broken bones or bleeding out or maybe just a tiny little papercut. The choice is yours.
2. SICKNESS. You're sick and laid up in bed, at home or in a hospital. The severity is up to you.
3. FEAR/ANXIETY. Something is happening and you're scared beyond belief.
4. LOSS OF SENSES. Sight, touch, taste, hearing, smell, etc. You've lost some important sense or ability and now you're left to deal with it.
5. DESPAIR. Nothing is good or right anymore and you can't shake the depression. Maybe that friend of yours can help though...
6. BREAKUP. You've been dumped. You need someone to comfort you, possibly by the one who dumped you.
7. MAKE UP. Fight or break up, it's time to makeup.
8. RESCUED. You've just been held captived and/or tortured for however long and finally, someone has come to the rescue.
9. BAD ROMANCE. Fight, cheated on, abused, whatever the case s, someone else can clearly see
you need comfort from someone who isn't your terrible lover tonight.
10. LOSS. You've experience a loss of some kind and need help getting through it.

Sometimes, people get off in the strangest ways whether intentionally or by accidental discovery.

- others go to RNG to get a scenario. Roll 1-2 for either accidental or intentional (or just choose whatever fits!), then 1-6 for what's happening. They can either be the ones stumbling in/stimulating the thread starter or being the ones stimulated themselves.

What started in playful wrestling, dancing, or any other activity that would get you rubbing up against someone (or thing!) has caused an unexpected reaction! Your partner has kind of figured it out too... question is, do they keep it up or push you away?

Maybe you've been caught taking advantage of the washer during spin cycle, taking a ride with another person on a motorcycle, or you're finding some other unusual vibration a little too enjoyable to hide. Same as above, does your partner help you out or are they freaked?

You're in a tight space, settled just right on someone's lap, or maybe you just thought you'd have a little fun with the vibration function on your phone and got caught.

You're feeling a little kinkier than usual and unfortunately, you don't have any toys around. Time to improvise! Spanked with the back of a brush, tied with scarves or actual ties, finding a whole new use for cucumbers besides salads, whatever...

There are a lot of ways to get stimulation in the water! Detachable showerheads, faucets, or just plain getting a little to excited when your partner just intends to wash you. There are also jets aimed (in)appropriately in hot tubs and getting frisky swimming.

You're feeling kinky and you don't want to go out of your way to get a toy, so it's just whatever is around. Maybe there was even some planning before hand and you both just get off on the idea of using something around the house for a change.

... and then it hits you: none of this is real. You're dreaming. You've been dreaming all along.

Maybe you'd normally wake up now. The brain is a funny thing, though, and you can't seem to. Must be something you ate. You do, however, realize that you're in a dream - and in dream, you can do anything. Always wanted to dream about flying? It's your lucky night. Want to dream back a lost childhood home? It's there just as you remember, or perhaps imagine it. Been fantasizing about that one cute co-worker for weeks? Well then.

There's only one problem. There seems to be someone else in your dreamscape, and they can apparently control it just as easily as you can. They even have the audacity to claim that they are dreaming you!


All the usual:

• Post with your character's name and canon in the subject line.
• Said character is having a lucid dream, where since they know they are dreaming, they can do literally anything. Fun!
• ... except that the character that comments on your thread is also in the same dream and just as lucid. Both characters can affect the world around them, but not each other.
• Both characters are the "original" dreamer from their perspective, and neither is stronger than the other. Conflicting changes to the environment simply overwrite each other in a loop until one character or the other gives up.
• The setup of this meme is built to facilitate cross-canon interaction: it's probably a good idea to state in your subject line whether you're open to it.
• Tag around and play nice!
