Turned Into An Animal Meme

In this meme, someone has been involved in some kind of an animal transformation, either completely or partially. This can range from a character being forced to wear plush ears and a tail to a twisted science experiment to lycanthropy or any other option in between, temporary or permanent, played for crack or for drama.
The transformed character might have been forced into it, did it voluntarily, or were brainwashed into enjoying every minute of it. The "animal" nature might affect them at different levels as well, where one person might be completely unchanged mentally, a human stuck in the wrong shape, while another completely loses themselves in whatever they've become, being entirely taken over by base animal instincts.
Is this a prank? A dare? Did someone lose a bet? Did you get on the wrong side of a mad scientist? Is the other person a friend? Your new owner? Your worst enemy gloating over your plight? Pick an option or make up your own, and let the fur fly.

[ aah, sunshine. she loves being out in the sunshine. or maybe it's just that she loves not sitting in class. either way, she looks up just to enjoy the sun on her face when she first gets outside, hopping down the short stack of stone steps that lead to the parking lot with a little bit of a hop to her step. whatever, she really, really likes sunshine. and she'll definitely be sitting on the side of the car that has the most sun shining through the window, yep. ]
So, when did it happen? How? It didn't hurt too much, did it? I had some uncomfortable days, but it wasn't so bad once I got used to it.

[His jeep isn't too far from the front of the school, not too close to it either. It's parked out in the open, sun streaming in through the passenger side and he sort of tries to lead her over to it instead of her just leading him around like he's... a puppy.]
Ah, it... Look, can we wait until we're in the car to talk?
no subject
[ NOPE, does not compute. how could someone not like being a wereanimal? he loves her abilities, and even if it took her a while to get used to her tail, she can't imagine living without any of it now. but anyway, he gives her a subtle hint at "hey, shuddap" so she takes it, letting him lead her to the car and pulling open the passenger side door without waiting for him to get in first. ah. warm car and sunshine. good.
she gets comfy pretty quick, slouched in the seat with her eyes closed and her face tilted towards the sun ]
Okay, now tell me why you hope it isn't permanent.
no subject
Well, how about we start with the fact that I'm not a... whatever. This is an accident. Something that needs to be fixed.
no subject
[ she does seem genuinely sorry at least, and a little surprised too ]
It's not really all that bad though, is it? I mean, you're- a canine, obviously. A wolf? Or a fox, maybe? Your coloring is a little hard to make sense of.
[ then she's stretching a bit, reaching out a hand to play ( gently! nicely. ) with the edge of his ear, letting her fingers rub over the fur ]
I could see the benefits of being a fox.
no subject
[How to explain the whole nogitsune/magical thing to someone who hadn't been there? He barely understood it himself.
Then her hand was on his ear and his eyes closed a little, body relaxing just a tad before he realized what he was doing, blushing and flicking his ear away from her fingers (god, that was weird), hands fidgeting with his keys that he'd pulled out out of habit.]
Ah, um... it's... I mean... I don't--
[Words, Stilinski. Use them.]
I'm not really anything. I guess.
no subject
But you are. Once you start accepting it, you'll start to feel - it's a whole thing. [ ironically! no, she doesn't know anything about the other werewolves in this town, or were-anythings in this town. she's just speaking from her own experience ] And once you start tapping into that, you can also hide your ears, and your tail. With some practice. It doesn't feel great, though. I don't think it's worth it. But, just saying. [ she gives him one last little scratch behind the ear before letting her hand settle in her lap again ]
no subject
It's... look, I don't know what you know or what you don't know, so this is pretty hard to explain. Let's just go with 'I'm hoping it's not permanent' and leave it at that.
But, ah, you... you're what? A were.... kitty?
[Better than werepussy.]
no subject
[ yes running into the wereanimal she met however many years ago was a happy coincidence, right. not terrifying at all. it really wasn't, once she learned about them, got to know them. and then she was bitten because she wanted to be and the rest didn't really matter ]
I definitely thought I was going to be a fox. Something small, you know? But something wild. A raccoon, even, or a coyote. But then- I ended up being a cat. And that makes a lot of sense, too. Feels right.
no subject
You do realize that most of the time you wind up as what you were bitten by, right? Like, turning into something else is a one in a million thing, right?
[Please don't tell him that she'd been bitten by some weird kiddy stealing were-thing that had made some kind of false promises...]
no subject
[ oh Stiles, your worryworryworry is coming off of you in waves. and maybe she can't hear his heartbeat, but she can sense that kind of thing, and it's not even because she's a werecat ]
An ocelot! Maybe he was an ocelot.
[ and maybe Rachel is getting comfy in the sunlight again ]
I feel like I would have noticed if he was a werecheetah or something bigger, right? Definitely.
no subject
[So concerned at the moment. She'd been bitten by a wereliar liar pants on fire.]
He didn't tell you what he was? He just bit you and told you to hope for the best?
[Was that a growl? That might have been a growl.]
no subject
No, he didn't do that. He told me that different people can be different things, depending on what you're like. Personality wise. What kind of loyalties you have and- stuff. I don't know. I never questioned it. I was fourteen.
[ she tilts her head, maybe sort of rubbing her ear on the headrest of the chair without even thinking much about it. it feels nice. all the self-pets. ]
I don't regret it. And neither should you.
no subject
[Yeah, that was definitely a growl, tail thumping beside him.]
That is not how it works, Rachel. God. Have you even talked to any other weres? Do you... ah... know of any? Here? Maybe... in school?
[Testing the waters. Testing...]
no subject
[ nobody else was walking around with a tail and ears... ]
no subject
[Clearly he was going to have to talk to Scott about her.]
Look, I have, ah... friends. I need to talk to them first, but, yeah, I think they'll be talking to you soon afterward. You really... wow. Like... what do your parents think?
no subject
[ she's genuinely thrown by that ]
They're not really around, so it wasn't that hard to keep it a secret.
[ anyway. she sits up again, turning in her seat to face him properly, hands on her shin once her knee bends and pulls up to rest on the seat. and then she notices his tail doing that- aggressive thing and- ]
Hey, I'm not the one that needs help here. You don't have to bother your friends. It's fine. It's been- what, three years? Four, almost? I came here to help you, not the other way around.
no subject
You don't need to ask permi-- wait. I don't know if you do. I'm not really sure how cross were-groups really work. But still, you should at least know about the other weres around. And how this stuff actually works if you've got some kiddy freak running around biting people without filling them in.
[At least Derek had mostly told his little progeny the facts. This? Not so much.]
It's not the time, Rachel. It's... this whole situation sounds like some kind of shady deal.
no subject
[ she's not really following him at first, and it's written all over her face, and she's stuck between feeling defensive and excited. it's a weird combo ]
Wait, you know more weres? People like us?
[ she looks back to the school like they'll just suddenly appear ]
Do they go to school with us?
no subject
What, you thought you were the only one? This guy was a real prize, Rach. What, he just bit you and left? Where is he now?
[So Stiles could go introduce him to Javier, his baseball bat.]
no subject
I didn't think I went to school with any other weres, no. It's not like I can sense these things. He left town about a year ago, as far as I know. He was around for a long time, after I turned. He showed me how to hide my features, if I wanted to. And whatever.
But.
Hey.
[ now she'll outright point at his tail, gesturing to it ]
Protectiveness. Is that a new thing, or a fox thing? Because you're really bad at hiding it. I mean I'm flattered, but. Your pokerface needs work.
no subject
I don't know what you're talking about.
[Ahem.]
That's not how weres work, Rachel. There's a... a sort of way they live to make sure they don't get caught. Or bring hunters on them. You know about the hunters?
no subject
[ practically a myth. or... not? ]
Your friends are werewolves?

[ which is why she's maybe, kind of,
pawingfeeling around for the door handle ]Was that the bell? I think that was the bell. I heard the bell.
