U-haul it is, then. I guess I'll just sleep on the floor. We'll have to do this at night, though. Wouldn't want to get the 5-0 called just because people think they saw a horse in the parking lot.

{She made an 'oh' face, then grumbled deeply to herself.}

Yeah, well... no sacrificing or defiling of any virgins! {it was mostly a tease. She was smiling a bit.}

[ This definitely wasn't supposed to be happening — being forced into a transformation was no longer an option, not since he had escaped Jubaba's control. Arms and legs melded into his sides in such a familiar change, body slimming out and becoming longer. Though it didn't hurt, the fact that he had been biting down on his lip during caused more damage than it was worth, especially with the new dragon teeth he had acquired, and skin split for blood to spill along his jaw.

Damnit, he thought. Not again.

The now dragon, pure white with light blue hair, flopped to the ground, like he couldn't find the energy to move any more than he already had. It seems to curl in on itself, almost despairingly, as he got used to the feeling of an uncomfortable change once more. ]

[She giggled, reaching out and gently petting the one closest to them.] Hello...! It's nice to meet you.

[Fluttershy winced as she lay on the forest floor, trembling a little. Several of the forest animals were gathered around her, forming a wall of protection.

She sighed softly, feeling more than a little guilty. She was supposed to be the guardian of this forest, protecting the creatures and watching over them, especially now in the winter, when many creatures were vulnerable. But not even she had been able to do anything to stop the humans who had been hunting in the woods. If it hadn't been for another group of humans who chased them away, the hunters would have caused serious trouble.

As it was though, one of the hunters had still managed to shoot her with their guns. It only hit one of her wings, but it was enough that it hurt, and she couldn't fly with it right now.

She curled up a little as she lay in the snow, her injured wing trembling as it lay limply against her.]

Nope!

[Wufei had spotted the movement outside his window, an odd thing since his home was out in the woods, isolated. But not as odd as the sight that awaited him when he stepped out to look.

A dragon.

He held back his awe as he saw the way it was curled up. Something was wrong. Slowly, he walked closer to the creature.]

Are you hurt?

[ There was a small whine, barely audible, from the dragon as he looked up at the.. human. Fantastic. At least they weren't trying to slay him yet.

In small and slow movements, Haku raised his head and nodded a little, though his tail twitched in a poor attempt to convey that it was mostly his body that ached.

The blood on his jaw, he thought, would probably convey the fact that he'd bitten himself well enough. ]

[He couldn't ignore that smell of blood that stung even his human nose. Wufei felt down beside him, hesitantly laying a hand on the dragon's side.]

Is there any way I can help?

[Garrett snorts, raising an unseen eyebrow beneath the cowl.]

Not too bright--

[There's no spark or flash. One moment Garrett is there and the next there's a small grey fox with the exact same grey coat pattern as Garrett's hide. He looks up at the now very large centuar.]

--are you?

Holy shit!

[Dean's lower half reacted like a startled horse would, jumping back, then stamping his hoof. Okay, that's not his fault. His other part had a mind of its own at times.]

Man, I've never seen a shifter wear its fur like that before.

[Very well. He could try bothering a Sphinx.]

[Rolled a six for Naoto. What creature will Mitsuru be?]

[He smiled, watching the dolphin nudge her, and then he snickered a little.]

I think he wants you to play with him.

[strengthinkindness]

[Giggling again, she very carefully lets go of Chris, doing her best to stay afloat as she swims with one hand on the dolphin.]

Well, how can I say no?

[beingthecreature]

[The dolphin chittered happily and swam back a bit. Perhaps seeing something in his eye, Chris started forward a little.]

Ah, Fluttershy? You may wanna hold on tight and take a breath-

[Because seconds after she grabs on Click takes off, swimming through the waves and beginning to dive in and out of them. Chris sighed, putting a hand over his eyes.]

[She just barely manages a startled squeak before Click takes off, and she clings on to him as he jumps in and out of the water. She only manages to take little gasps of breath when he jumps out before he dives back in.

She's not able to hold on for long, though, and at a particular jumps she slips, splashing back into the water.]

[Chris and the crew had been in the frozen forest when the hunters arrived, and they were the ones who split up and chased them off, as they'd been illegally on the land. Unfortunately that hadn't been before one of them had gotten off a shot, sending some poor creature's scream echoing through the woods.

Chris was now making his way through the snow, doing his best to stay out of the deeper drifts while following the trail of the injured animal. He studied the tracks, but they didn't make any sense- it looked like a horse, but there were drag marks similar to wings on top of the snow, spotted with blood every few feet. But him making sense of the tracks had no part at the end, all that mattered was that there was something hurt and he had to find it before it was too late.]

[beingthecreature]

Fluttershy! [He immediately swims over to her, supporting her up into free air.] Are you okay??

[strengthinkindness]

[The sounds of his footsteps on the snow is heard throughout the forest, especially as he draws closer to where Fluttershy lay. She and the animals fall silent, listening to the crunching footsteps.

Then a few animals head towards the sound, fur bristled and ready to protect the injured pegasus.]

[She sputters a bit, breathing heavily as she tries to catch her breath. She's shaking a little, and for a moment it's hard to tell what she's thinking.

But then she looks at Chris, and a smiles spreads across her face.] Can we do that again?
