THE MYTHICAL CREATURES MEME

HOW IT WORKS:
- You can either use the RNG or pick whichever creature you like.
- Leave a comment with your muse. Now they are a mythical creature.
- Others will tag your muse as a different or the same magical creature, or a human, or what they naturally are, or whatever they like.
- If you'd prefer, all these creatures can appear human, but shift between forms.
- Have fun!
01. Unicorn
02. Nymph
03. Vampire

12. Siren

Chris was now making his way through the snow, doing his best to stay out of the deeper drifts while following the trail of the injured animal. He studied the tracks, but they didn't make any sense- it looked like a horse, but there were drag marks similar to wings on top of the snow, spotted with blood every few feet. But him making sense of the tracks had no part at the end, all that mattered was that there was something hurt and he had to find it before it was too late.]

Then a few animals head towards the sound, fur bristled and ready to protect the injured pegasus.]

This is because the greatest gathering of animals he's ever seen is yards in front of him, predator and prey species alike all in one place. He's struck by how unnatural it seems, and how on edge several of them look. So he decides to hedge his bets and back up ever so slowly, keeping a wary eye on them without trying to look at any directly.]
Aha... It's- it's okay guys, I'm j-just... passing through...
no subject
But just as its raising a paw to try to take a swipe at Chris, all the animals fall silent as a soft voice rings out.]
P-Please...stop.

Y-You're...You're not...one of them, are you? You're not...one of those...hunters...

Then his eyes flick to her injured wing and he gasps softly, his first instinct to draw towards her. But with an eye to the bear, he holds back.]
Me? No! No, I'm not one of... I could never...
I'm not a hunter.
[Even in the surprise of the moment, and any apprehension or fright he was feeling from being confronted with so many angry eyes, those words are said with the utmost conviction.]

I-I...I didn't think so...Th-There's...There's something...different about you.
Y-You were...You were one of the ones that chased away the hunters then...?
no subject
Yeah, the crew and I, we rescue and study wildlife. We were elsewhere when we saw the hunters enter, and we know this is private land- we had to get permits and everything to study here.
So we took care of them. [Then he looks at her, and a profound sadness comes over his expression as he stares at her injury.]
But not before an accident happened. I am so sorry.

Once they've calmed, she turns back to him and shakes her head.]
N-No, it's...it's all right. I...I'm very grateful for your help. If you and your friends hadn't shown up when you did...those hunters might have hit more than just my wing...

[Not only was she a beautiful winged horse, but from the interactions he was witnessing between her and the animals, he was getting powerful "forest guardian" vibes from her. Wondering if that was true, he was already feeling a little more awed in her presence.]
Do you want me to... [A hand motion toward her injury.] I've got a first aid kit on me, I could at least bandage it up.
If uh, if you don't mind, anyway.

[And the thing about that is? It could be an injured chipmunk and the response would still be the same.]

[It does hurt a lot...as it is, she can barely hold it up.]

First he needed to clean it, doing so with a warning that it might sting a little. After doing that, he applied the bandages to it, wrapping it up between the feathers and around as best he could.]
Alright... I think that's all I can do for now. I can- [He paused, then thinks better of suggesting she come back with him, and went on a different track instead.] -get supplies transferred in to me to do it better.

When he finishes, she carefully tests her wing. It'd be a while before she could fly with it, that much she knew.]
I-If...you think that's best...
[She knew she was giving him a lot of trust at the moment...but she also had a feeling that it was well-deserved.]

I'll be right back.

Once he was enough distance away he sighed a little and glanced back, still somehow not believing what he'd seen. But then he pulls out the creature pod and contacts the Tortuga.
Once explaining (somewhat cagily, mind), he was sent a set of fresh bandages, appearing in his hands with a little flash of light. Wondering now if at least
a certainone crewmember was going to seek him out now, on curiosity as well as realizing he had an injured creature on his hands, Chris started heading back.]no subject
When he approached, she lifted her head, smiling a little as he came near.]

Kneeling in the snow at her side, he begins a proper bandaging of her wing, again going as gently as possible.]
