[ This definitely wasn't supposed to be happening — being forced into a transformation was no longer an option, not since he had escaped Jubaba's control. Arms and legs melded into his sides in such a familiar change, body slimming out and becoming longer. Though it didn't hurt, the fact that he had been biting down on his lip during caused more damage than it was worth, especially with the new dragon teeth he had acquired, and skin split for blood to spill along his jaw.

Damnit, he thought. Not again.

The now dragon, pure white with light blue hair, flopped to the ground, like he couldn't find the energy to move any more than he already had. It seems to curl in on itself, almost despairingly, as he got used to the feeling of an uncomfortable change once more. ]

Nope!

[Wufei had spotted the movement outside his window, an odd thing since his home was out in the woods, isolated. But not as odd as the sight that awaited him when he stepped out to look.

A dragon.

He held back his awe as he saw the way it was curled up. Something was wrong. Slowly, he walked closer to the creature.]

Are you hurt?

[hakku]

[ There was a small whine, barely audible, from the dragon as he looked up at the.. human. Fantastic. At least they weren't trying to slay him yet.

In small and slow movements, Haku raised his head and nodded a little, though his tail twitched in a poor attempt to convey that it was mostly his body that ached.

The blood on his jaw, he thought, would probably convey the fact that he'd bitten himself well enough. ]

[He couldn't ignore that smell of blood that stung even his human nose. Wufei felt down beside him, hesitantly laying a hand on the dragon's side.]

Is there any way I can help?

[hakku]

[ Haku would never admit to flinching under the other's touch, but he did so. Seconds later he's trying to cover it up by pushing his snout onto his leg, directing his gaze and flicking his tail towards where his possible saviour had emerged from.

Somewhere safe, he tries for, though doesn't think he did much of a good job at conveying it. ]

[It was clear enough. Just as clear as the fact that Wufei was not going to be able to carry him inside, no matter how strong he was.]

Can you walk? You should be able to fit through the door, but you're too large for me to carry.

[hakku]

[ Haku nodded carefully, pushing himself up and getting used to the change in shape and movement once more. Though everything felt a little fuzzy, he could move, and looked up to the stranger, waiting for him to move first. ]

[Wufei went to the door, getting it open and quickly moving things out of the way on the path to the living room. With its fireplace, it'd be the warmest, as well as the one with the most open floorspace other than his training room.]

[hakku]

[ The dragon gave a nod as he passed, giving his thanks despite how much he would have preferred to do it verbally. As soon as he was in front of the fire, he flopped, wiggling around slightly at the pain that dredged up along his sides.

His gaze slid back over to the stranger, to watch and, in some small way, to look after. Just because of these small things, if something were to happen, Haku would be there to help. ]

[Wufei was still in awe. There was a dragon in his home, a real one. His clan used the dragon as their symbol, but he'd still assumed they were only myth. Obviously, he was wrong.

Realizing he was staring, Wufei swallowed and stepped back. The dragon seemed to be in pain.]

I'll see if I have something to help with the pain.

[hakku]

[ Haku's maw opened, as though he wanted to say something. When nothing happened and no noise formed, it closed again and his eyes shut for a second. Moments later he was nodding in thanks once more, shifting a little and then moving to get up and follow. ]

[Wufei hadn't meant for the dragon to rise and go with him to the kitchen, but after staring at him in surprise for a moment, he shrugged and led the way, making sure there was nothing for the dragon to scrape against. Far be it for him to argue with the whims his clan's guardian creature.]
