"Can You Handle Your Emotions?"

Emotions are... eh. We all have them, whether we want to or not. Some people have control over their emotions, and some people let their emotions control them. Where does your character fall on this spectrum? More importantly, what's their relationship with their emotions like? Do they bury everything deep, deep down inside, or are they the first one to cry over a sappy movie? Do they even know how they feel about what's going on inside? Pretty meta stuff.

• No blank top-levels.
• Instead, characters are to respond to the proposed question: can you handle your emotions? / are you in touch with your feelings?
• Get deep. Look within. Hear, think feel... or don't.

[ If Renji is preening under his scrutiny, it's in a very manly and cool way that shows that he is both gifted with the wisdom of age, but also still very hip and with it. Puffing up his chest and shaking his ponytail like a prized show horse and looking all smug, a cat that got the canary. Or a dog that's got the cat that got the canary. These are a lot of animal descriptors.

Here's one more: Renji hears the guess and freezes like a deer in the headlights. He had been warned... but that doesn't take the sting out of such an outrageous number any less. ]

Like I know the math of shinigami age calculation! ( Although there's a slight rise to his voice at the end of his sentence, as if that alone can defend him against Abarai's indignation, Kiyoaki doesn't sound all that bothered, even as he raises both hands defensively. It's more in an attempt to calm the other man down a bit, show him that no, no, he doesn't seem old, Kiyoaki just slipped up with his numbers.
