"Can You Handle Your Emotions?"

Emotions are... eh. We all have them, whether we want to or not. Some people have control over their emotions, and some people let their emotions control them. Where does your character fall on this spectrum? More importantly, what's their relationship with their emotions like? Do they bury everything deep, deep down inside, or are they the first one to cry over a sappy movie? Do they even know how they feel about what's going on inside? Pretty meta stuff.

Instead, characters are to respond to the proposed question: can you handle your emotions? / are you in touch with your feelings?
Get deep. Look within. Hear, think feel... or don't.

Can I handle my emotions? Am I in touch with them?

For the most part, I think the answer to both is a resounding yes. I'm a pretty emotional individual, and my passions run pretty high by default, but I don't let them completely rule me.

Even if emotions sometimes make things complicated.

Am I in touch with my feelings? Are you kidding?

[He crosses his arms, sneering a little.]

Well, I like to think I do, and that I know myself pretty well. ...mm... although, I suppose they can be a bit surprising, sometimes. I certainly prefer to accept and learn from them, but of course there are times that's easier said than done for everybody, ne?

My, you control them..? That sounds most impressive. So... no feeling comes unbidden, or persists in defiance of your will? I've met quite a few monks who would be dreadfully jealous. Sadly, I doubt they'd appreciate the irony.
