listen to your heart 😌
"Can You Handle Your Emotions?"
Emotions are... eh. We all have them, whether we want to or not. Some people have control over their emotions, and some people let their emotions control them.
Where does your character fall on this spectrum?
More importantly, what's their relationship with their emotions like? Do they bury everything deep, deep down inside, or are they the first one to cry over a sappy movie? Do they even know how they feel about what's going on inside?
Pretty meta stuff.
- No blank top-levels.
- Instead, characters are to respond to the proposed question: can you handle your emotions? / are you in touch with your feelings?
- Get deep. Look within. Hear, think feel... or don't.

[ now more seriously. ]
Do your brothers also experience this intrusiveness?
Having someone to talk about it can help.

Ugh I'm a terrible brother.
[Give him a moment. Levi might, so that would explain some of the extreme introversion. Asmo... didn't, but had a good sense of Lust, but that's just NORMAL, right? Right. Satan was angry all the time, so....... could be? Belphie was depressed, ALSO COULD BE. Mammon.... no. Definitely didn't. He wasn't incapable of reading the room, but definitely didn't. Beelz and Belphie would go back and forth with their twin thing.]
I'm not saying they don't experience it, and wouldn't have useful insights, but they wouldn't be comfortable talking with me about it. [If he opens up first????? MAYBE. But it's also kind of a gamble. He can do it gently but also--]
You really think it might be a Devildom thing, not just universal??? [Ugh. He could ask any regular angel about it. He WON'T. But he COULD. In theory. But he won't.]

[specially him, even with all his pride. alexiel doesn't blame him if he's overwhelmed.]
If it's something you seven share, perhaps it can only be controlled if you learn together.
[she proposes an idea. she doesn't doubt lucifer didn't try with how perfectionist he is.]

Okay, that sounds like torture.
You want us to do a group family therapy session. [It's a human thing, right? Constantly just on this.] Can't we just play a board game and try to kill each other with nachos, hot sauce, and clue or puzzle pieces?
Do you know how hard it is to get them all to do anything together?
Satan: I can just give a bunch of Jungian and Freud books, tell him it's the latest FBI detection trend, and even if it irritates the Hell out of him, he'll still read them. Levi might go with that and help, because I think one of his games uses it all over the place thematically. And if nothing else, I can try to find something to bribe him with. Even if it means Ruri Hana all day every day for a month. Beelz is easy going, so it's like movies, he's happy to be with us no matter the genre.
But Belphie, Mammon, and Asmo I would have to string from the ceiling and they'd spend the whole time trying to undermine it, escape, and whining.
If I only do one on one with Satan, he's going to murder me and we'll get stuck in one of his cursed traps again for sure. But the louder ones overwhelm Levi. If I don't have more people with Asmo, he'll spend it talking about narcissism and lust and I think I might break something. And Beelz and Asmo is no good because Beelz would let him. Add in Belphie and Belphie might kill him. So if Satan offsets Belphie, I'd still Mammon and then the only one left out is Levi. Satan and Asmo I won't be able to talk seriously with Satan, Levi wouldn't stick around at all, Satan, Asmo, Mammon, and Levi but not the twins just feels like I'm letting them off the hook, and Belphie is still in a fragile state from the kick-off of the project.
This is the wolf, dog, and sheep puzzle. Do you know it?
I mean it's not like I didn't get professional help before. Before you start in on "my pride." My brothers always come first. All my pride is in them, got it? I have Mammon's therapist on speed dial. Ugh. I guess I could ask them about empathy. For myself. And work from there.... [Just.... pounds a fist to his forehead.]
I once asked Simeon to kill me and drag me back to the Celestial Realm. If he wasn't so damn enthusiastically eager last time, I'd ask again.

Would that work to solve your problem?
[her voice drips in skepticism. getting therapy would really solve most problems in heaven...
speaking of therapy, his regular long-winded complaint about hisfamily toher is sounding like that, and she's not a certified professional. she doesn't point it out and nods at the end of his sentences until she can find a space to interject. ]
What if the sheep makes you all do it?
They can, can't they?
[ with the paths and natural charisma as morningstar said in the past. if it's a shared problem, then the one who brought them together will assist. ]
Morningstar. Â [ she gives a sharp pause when she hears about the suicidal ideation. ]
The cause isn't yet lost- why are you losing heart?

[And migraine inducing.]
[He winces at the idea of Sheep-chan making them do it. They would too.]
[He rubs his temples.] Because it seems like way more hassle than it's worth. I'm not dead serious. [Get it? No... bad timing.]
I'll try.
Magic is math and emotion, especially here in Devildom. I can't afford to slip and let some others start gaining ground on me. Color magic is already all emotional, if I tackle it from that angle, it's a little easier, gives me a buffer similar to music, lets me explore the ideas and theories presented in art, cracking the secrets.
