Childhood Sweetheart Meme
![]() THE CHILDHOOD ѕωєєтнєαят MEME Ahhh, young love. Whether it's precious or bittersweet, it's something that stays with you. Remember that time...? Of course you do. Both of you thought you'd last forever. Or maybe you were too young to know what that meant. All that mattered was that you were kids and you were together. But time and circumstance tears even the best of friends and young lovers apart. That person, your childhood crush, your first love, is just a memory. Now, you're being given a second chance. Will it be painful? Will you confess everything and try to win their affection again? You've been reunited, and it's up to you what happens. HOW TO ① Comment with your character. You can state preferences and such in your subject. ② Characters who comment will be their childhood sweetheart/first love. The muns can figure out how that works, but when in doubt, just wing it. It's a meme. Fun is the goal here. ③ KISS AND REUNITE. Or argue and storm off. Or cry. Or laugh. Or sex. Whatever is appropriate. |

Aye, it does. And I thought -- well hoped, the same thing as well. The universe is a fickle thing.

( He's so close that her fingers brush against his as she reaches out slightly. God, she can't believe she's actually feeling shy around someone, but it could have been the complete opposite, just like how she came onto the Doctor when he reappeared, but she's able to hide it. )
So, are we going to be arrested for ... beaming aboard without actually beaming?

The breath in his throat catches and he can smell her perfume, she's so close. She smells like lavender, well what he suspects lavender to smell like. He's never actually smelled lavender before, but it's wonderful. And her red hair looks so soft and he just wants to touch it -- that sounds kind of creepy, he thinks.
Be quiet, you weirdo. He's able to force some words from his gapping mouth. Tell him if it makes sense, Amy.]
Uh, no. I'm just supposed to ask him, um, how he did what he did without the, uh, beaming part. Y'know. And my captain -- Captain Kirk, would like to ask you some questions as well. Some questions... at the bar. He, he told me to tell you that.
no subject
Well, the Doctor will be more than willing to explain everything to you, especially when I tell him who you are. As for your captain, tell him I'm not interested.

[Then he'll just shrug and go back to hitting on Nurse Chapel.]

[He rubs the back of his neck, sheepishly, awkwardly avoiding her gaze.]
I mean we can get some tea -- if we want, that is. It's rubbish, but it's definitely better than the food on Delta Vega.

Tea sounds — nice. We've also got stuff on the TARDIS. Not that you'd want to go inside or anything.

If it can beam without actually beaming, I'd like to see it. If that's not a problem with the Doctor.

( Grabbing a hold of his hand she pulls him towards the TARDIS and opens up the door. She wants the OMG ITS BIGGER ON THE INSIDE moment all to herself. )

As a physicist, he's well aware and educated of the possibilities of "other dimensions" and "time travel", but seeing it is another matter.
So, excuse him while he's gaping at the large room that really shouldn't be in a box barely able to hold two people.]

It's, ah, surely something.

( Amy rubs her thumb over the back of his knuckles as she enjoys the feeling of his hand within hers. )

Sure.

How big is this thing?
[His eyes carefully study the hallways, stairs, doors, etc, as they move pass them.]

( Once they are in the kitchen she starts searching around in the cupboards. )
You said you wanted tea, yea?
no subject
Anything's fine. Anything's better than the food aboard the ship, in fact.
no subject
( Putting the kettle on the stove she starts pulling things out to make something. It isn't everyday Amy Pond makes someone something to eat. )

[Then he adds quietly.]
The mudpies we used to make were better.

( She places a sandwich down in front of him before going to get some tea cups for the tea. )
If you ever come with the Doctor and I we can take you to pretty amazing places with just as amazing food.
no subject
If I ever come?

no subject
No. My place is on the Enterprise.
[Peering up at Amy, he sharply intakes a breath of air.]
