Both of you thought you'd last forever. Or maybe you were too young to know what that meant. All that mattered was that you were kids and you were together. But time and circumstance tears even the best of friends and young lovers apart. That person, your childhood crush, your first love, is just a memory. Now, you're being given a second chance. Will it be painful? Will you confess everything and try to win their affection again? You've been reunited, and it's up to you what happens. HOW TO ① Comment with your character. [Honestly, he's kind of missed all of her wild antics, the schemes that'd get him into trouble. He'd always love that fearlessness, that impulse to leap before looking. That's probably why he respects and likes Captain Kirk so much.

As a physicist, he's well aware and educated of the possibilities of "other dimensions" and "time travel", but seeing it is another matter.

So, excuse him while he's gaping at the large room that really shouldn't be in a box barely able to hold two people.]

Amazing, isn't it? ( She closes the door behind them and pulls him further in. ) Her name is Sexy, according to the Doctor and I've got to agree even though I don't know what half these things do.

[scot]

[If he wasn't stunned at the inside, he'd be marveling at the feel of her soft hand against his rough one.]

It's, ah, surely something.

[ging]

So, you wanna see if we've got something in here to head back to the Enterprise?

( Amy rubs her thumb over the back of his knuckles as she enjoys the feeling of his hand within hers. )

[scot]

[He can do nothing else but open and shut his mouth a few times like a goldfish, his mind racing to find something smooth to respond. Give him the danger of falling into a blackhole, he can think his way out of that. Give him a leggy ginger, we're dead.]

[ging]

Kitchen is this way. ( Again she's pulling him along behind her. )

[scot]

[And he'll gladly follow.]

How big is this thing?

[His eyes carefully study the hallways, stairs, doors, etc, as they move pass them.]

[ging]

Really really big. Doubt I could see all of it in a lifetime.

( Once they are in the kitchen she starts searching around in the cupboards. )

You said you wanted tea, yea?

[scot]

[He plants himself in at the table, unsure what to do as he carefully sets his palms onto the cool table.]

Anything's fine. Anything's better than the food aboard the ship, in fact.

[ging]

No good, I take it?

( Putting the kettle on the stove she starts pulling things out to make something. It isn't everyday Amy Pond makes someone something to eat. )

[scot]

Aye. It tastes like the surplus from World War II.

[Then he adds quietly.]

The mudpies we used to make were better.

[ging]

Our mudpies were pretty amazing, yea?

( She places a sandwich down in front of him before going to get some tea cups for the tea. )

If you ever come with the Doctor and I we can take you to pretty amazing places with just as amazing food.

[scot]

[He cocks a brow and looks at Amy with a serious gaze, folding his hands together.]

If I ever come?

[ging]

...Would you want to come?

[scot]

[He's silent for a moment, intently studying the sandwich in fount of him (SANDWICH!!) before he speaks.]

No. My place is on the Enterprise.

[Peering up at Amy, he sharply intakes a breath of air.]

[ging]

Oh. Well, I suppose you're right about that.

( She lingers with the tea before bringing him a cup. )

[scot]

That doesn't mean I don't love -- I mean like you.

[ging]

...What was that?

[scot]

Nothing. [Denial is not just a river in Egypt. Now, he's just going to put too much sugar cubes in his tea and stuff the sandwich in his mouth to prevent himself from saying anymore stupid things.]

[ging]

( Her face falters and she goes to cleaning up. She thought he said something she's been waiting to hear for years and she wanted to hear it again, but she might have heard him wrong.

Amy sighs and shakes her head as she tries not to think about it. )

[scot]

[An awkward silence falls over the pair as Scotty silently eats his sandwich.]

Um, this is, uh, a good sandwich.

[ging]

Just a sandwich.

( She laughs a little at that. )

[scot]

A bloody good one. [He doesn't finish it though, setting the crust on the plate and pushing it away.]

[ging]

Still not eating your crust?

[scot]

Till the day I die. [He grins.]
